We had a lovely time in Breckenridge!Our group included 10 adults and 2 children and the home fit us comfortably. The only challenge was parking. Our group felt the overnight off site parking was overpriced and inconvenient.

We had everything we needed and really loved the proximity to the historic town area. The house was cozy. It was definitely a historic property so it had some quirks but it was really a lovely place!!

The property management team had timely communication, and if we needed anything, they would bring it right away. We hosted a murder party there, and it was the perfect venue for that. There are 2 parking spots with this residence. If you have more vehicles, I strongly recommend you park at the ice rink and pay the overnight fee. The parking police are serious in Breckenridge. The rooms and beds are comfortable. A couple of the bathrooms are small, but that wasn't a big deal.

Was a great place to hang out with friends. Close to downtown strip and everything was within walking distance. Place is very nice, would stay here again!

This is a beautiful historic house. Our family gathered for Thanksgiving and to celebrate retirements and was made all the more enjoyable by the access to skiing, ATVs, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Great Location

The bedroom areas were separated so perfect for different age groups. Large patio off kitchen was great for family meals.

Great location and just as advertised. Needed some lighting for the front walk and salt / pepper. Beautiful red fox came across the back porch in the morning. Parking was a little confusing. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

The location of this property is incredibly convenient to downtown Breckenridge and the gondola. We stayed with our large family of 13 and were very comfortable. The property was very clean and the hosts were responsive to our few requests.

Group Trip

The property is beautiful, with phenomenal views of the mountains from the back patio. The kitchen was well-equipped and the space had many thoughtful touches. The walking distance (roughly 3 blocks) to Breckenridge’s main strip was a huge plus as well. Would gladly stay again.

Amazing!

We had several families yet it still felt spacious! Children had fun playing hide and seek in the number of rooms. Beautiful views of mountains and great patio space. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Great house, excellent location

House was just what we needed. It had plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and the patio were really nice. The location is hard to beat. Only 3 blocks from the middle of Main St. Everything is within a short walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a large group

Stayed for a girls weekend with 14 adults and the house was perfect! Plenty of bedrooms spread around so noise didn’t carry. It’s an old b&b so everyone could have their own space and (mostly) their own bathrooms. Well stocked kitchen and the location of the house can’t be beat! Made for a perfect mountain weekend!

Historic Placer Cabin

The location was perfect. Close to Main Street and the free shuttle to ski area. Unusual layout for rooms, but accommodated our party of 14 perfectly. Only drawback was entry not shoveled well. We had one person on crutches due to a ski injury and entry way was treacherous for him.

Perfect location but could use some updates

The home is in the historic district, which is a fabulous location, but being in a historic house has challenges. The house has an odd layout- but works for big parties. There was a great newly renovated kitchen and living room but the bedrooms and bathrooms could use some work. Beds were not very comfortable and the bathrooms were very small and both the bedrooms and bathrooms could use some updating. Overall, the location was definitely the highlight of this home.

The photos of this unique home are accurate. Of course, photos don’t provide information about what you’ll hear while staying in this home, like the daily construction noise next door (massive rebuild happening), or the frequent drumming noise from the downstairs bedroom radiator throughout the night, or the sound of your guest’s head hitting the unmarked low-clearance overhead (twice) as they descend the steps from the kitchen into the living room. On the plus side, the location is great - just a couple blocks from Main street and an easy 15 minute walk (in ski boots) to the chair lift accessing peak 9 or, in the other direction, the gondola. Also the host management company was very responsive throughout. They did what they could to remedy our concerns. In the end we had a decent experience staying here for a week. As the management company’s handyman said when responding to our concerns, “keep in mind is that this is a HISTORIC house.”
