Nice Getaway

First time trying out a place in Sea Colony. Can't beat the location of this unit. The parking spot is very close to elevator and the unit is close to elevator. Very quiet and relaxing stay. Place was very clean. Has everything you need really. Would def stay again.

Great Location

We just stayed for a long weekend and the location was perfect! Right on the beach and close to the pool. The parking space was close to the elevator and so many things were just a short drive, or even walkable. The apartment itself could use some updates but the shower was hot and the beds were comfy so unless you are picky about looks, it’s a great little place.

The room had a wonderful view! Quiet and beautiful stay. Clean room. The beds were very much not comfortable- that’s the only downside. The pull out couch should not be considered a bed. One of us just slept on the couch.

Sea Colony is the best

Sea Colony is the best!! You can't beat it for a quality family vacation on the beach. Very family friendly, the decor is all nostalgia, and the simplicity helps you to have quality time and build great memories. This rental was spot-on for a beach condo rental. It's not a modern hotel suite, but that's part of what makes it great. The view can't be beat, and it's your perfect place to come in to from a day at the beach or pools.

Floors were not cleaned-white socks turned gray. No shelves in refrigerator and drawers in refrigerator were falling apart and off track. 2 dirty pans were in the cupboard. There was only 1 drinking glass. Location was wonderful and parking was great. This particular unit needs updating. The mattresses also need replaced.

Rewarded time

It was so nice to have the opportunity to use it a little earlier than the expected time.The room was big enough for two people and the mattress was so comfortable.The shower was also very clean and the condition was better than expected.The morning on the beach was so gorgeous and the sandy beach was like a painting, and Vacasa's staff Elizabeth Nelmida was so kind and one of the memories I want to remember on this trip.. Thank you..I want to recommend this person to others.. Thank you again..Thanks Vacasa...

Annapolis - Sea Colony - Bethany Beach

Really clean, tranquil and beautiful complex. Vacasa staff were excellent. They kept in touch throughout, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Loved seeing older persons hired at Sea Colony. Beautiful ocean view from the condo. The condo was spotless. The grounds and beach are immaculate. The parking at the condo was so convenient. Downtown is prettier than ever since we last went a few years back. "Off The Hook" restaurant was off the hook fantastic. The individual booths in the downtown area sell great stuff, including fresh vegetables. Just an overall great, great, great time. Thank you so very much. The Quinns

The linen & bedroom closets were filled with random clothes, sunglasses, beach ball, several pillows (all of which were shoved on shelves and on closet floor). The bedding for sofa bed was dirty as were the pillows. We found fake nails, stains, and hair on sofa bed. We were provided two garbage bags for kitchen (not enough), one bar of hand soap and one garbage can for two bathrooms. The bedroom wasn’t conducive to sleeping as You could hear the washer/dryer from other unit, the air conditioner and all of the outside noise from the parking lot. Overall unit was very outdated, noticed balcony railings were not affixed properly leaving gaps, other guests mentioned same issue while waiting for elevator.

Sea colony apartment

Location was great. The apartment was very outdated. The wall paper was peeling. off Patio doors keep falling off track and VERY hard to open, they really need to be replaced. Minimal eating utensils. Air conditioner needs repair. Overall apartment needs a major upgrade. Again the location was great and we had great weather

Good location poor cleanliness

We liked the location of this property, right by the beach with several grocery/ convenience stores, boardwalk nearby. The cleanliness is questionable, we found dirty dishes in the dishwasher, sand in the floors and on the beds, and the toilet bowl not properly cleaned right from the time we checked in. The worst thing is however the shower, there is zero water pressure and it trinkles down pitifully so we were forced to just use a plastic jug and pour water on ourselves. The toilet flush is also really really weak. Overall definitely not coming back here.

Nice little condo for my family of 3. There needs to be more/larger skillets for when guests want to cook their own meals. And it's 2021, every condo needs a Keurig (we've stayed in multiple condos at Sea Colony and not one has had a Keurig) Nice view from balcony, ample space for the 3 of us.

Worst Vacation Ever

No A/C in unit w 90 degree weather. Owner put a bunch of fans around thinking that would do the job. Forced to sign a contract that means nothing -- we booked Sea Colony in Annapolis Bldg because was told when speaking to Vacasa agents & reading in contract that no dogs were allowed anywhere in Sea Colony & no smoking anywhere on the premises. This is not true -- 6 big dogs roaming w owners all around barking all day & night (esp when the owners went out and left dogs). -- you couldn't even walk to the elev without a dog scaring the life out of you that were sitting on the terraces & dog owners laughing. Smoking was a joke -- pot, cigarettes, cigars, vipor all over the units -- below, above, next to you & under -- it was horrible, We called security & the guard informed us that the association allows both smoke & dogs. Why have you sign a ridiculous long contract if this is not true. We would never have stayed here esp that Vacasa boasted that these were set rules. A/C not working but the joke was air conditioner unit right under our terrace which made noises all day & night to keep everyone cool. Who were they keeping cool? Terrace had a screen which did not close properly -- in other words not replaced after yrs & yrs of use -- we had summer bugs getting in all night. Water pressure really bad which gave you a few min of hot water -- this is our least complaint. Lastly but the most important a beach house being renovated right in front of our unit. It went on M - F from 8 = 5 w workers power sawing wood & metal -- they would take each piece of wood to the deck -- measure it & cut it all day for 5 days. These workers could have done this on the other side of the house where summer homes were not being rented because of the time we went which was Memorial WK, also could have been done inside the house or in the garage which was open but not near us. We couldn't understand why this work was not done before Memorial Day as other homes in the area were. If they had to do it, there was ways for the owner to lessen the noise. It was piercing and we went away to get relaxation not this loud ridiculous noise. We tried everything to get help -- calling Vacassa & being told they would take care of it. Even getting a call from the person who I was told handled my unit -- he guaranteed us that all was good by going over the construction co & barging in on a meeting -- we thought this but this was false! Vac stucked!

Lovely beach front spot walking distance to great restaurants

Ideal location - easy walk to a ton of great restaurants, and beach and pool access to boot. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

Nice enough for the price

Unit had a view of the ocean and could hear the surf. View was shadowed by the building right next to us. Decor was dated and in just good enough shape, but adequate. Everything worked. The directions for getting there, checking in, parking, etc were excellent.... above and beyond.
