We’d like to introduce you to our spacious “country-style” 3-star vacation rental, located in the heart of the small village of Cassaignes in the Aude department.
Located at an elevation of 400 meters, the vacation rental is housed in an old stone house; it is a standalone property with direct access to a partially shaded meadow.
CASSAIGNES is a small, picturesque, and very quiet village with well-preserved architecture, located 1.5 hours from the sea and the mountains, with views of the Pyrenees, Rennes-le-Château, Pech Cardou, and Pech Bugarach.

The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped with a bedroom (double bed), a pull-out sofa bed, radio, TV, 10 Mb/s ADSL (available upon request), washing machine, oven (gas stove), iron, hair dryer, ...

Committed to preserving our environment and our planet, hot water is provided by solar panels, and electricity is partially generated by photovoltaic panels.

We are both retired and live in the house next to the cottage. With few exceptions, we are therefore always on site, particularly to tend to our large vegetable garden.

We’ll be happy to offer advice and recommend the best spots around our village.

The village is a “dead-end street” with little traffic, making it ideal for children.


The nearest shops and bus stops (in Couiza) are 10 km away, the Limoux train station is 23 km away, and the Carcassonne airport is 45 km away.
