Casa El Delfin is a 3-level house only steps away from one of the most beautiful & peaceful beaches on the Pacific coast in Oaxaca, Mexico. It's located on the bay of Estacahuite just 5 minutes away from Puerto Angel (a small fishing village) & 30 minutes from Huatulco Airport. The ocean view from the house is unforgettable. You will be able to view the beautiful sunrise and sunsets everyday of your stay. You will have full access to 3 beaches to snorkel, swim, scuba dive, or just enjoy the sounds and smell of the ocean air. There's some of the most beautiful coral reefs and fish in this area. There are several open-air restaurants/bars on the beach close to the house and small grocery stores in the neighborhood for your convenience. This is truly paradise.

Casa El Delfin is made up of three separate apartments each with their own private entrance and all equipped with consistent WiFi access and air conditioned. There are ceiling fans in all rooms. All windows can be open and have screens. All beds have attached nightstands with lamps and electricity. There is a dresser and sitting area in each bedroom. There is also a rooftop bungalow/palapa available for renting.

Casa El Delfin, 2nd Floor (Apt. 2) --THIS LISTING--has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full-size eat-in kitchen, and living room with a Smart TV. Apt. 2 has 2 queen-sized beds and can accommodate 4 people. It is fully furnished. and AC in all room. A small flight of steps is required to get to the 2nd floor.

The other parts of the house are also available for renting.

All levels share a secure parking area and BBQ grilling space. There's also plenty of on-street parking. If the 3rd level (rooftop bungalow/palapa) is not rented out, all guests will have full access to the rooftop for sunbathing and enjoy the beautiful views. Each floor has its own terrace area with hammocks to enjoy the ocean view. There are also tables, chairs, & benches for outdoor dining. Kayaks and life vests are available for our guests. There are exterior security cameras 24/7.

There will be a building staff member available 24/7 for your convenience and will greet and let guests in when you arrive.

We do have external security cameras (no audio). There are no interior cameras. They are installed for the entrances to the property and in the exterior terrace passage areas. These are on at all times. This is for liability and safety measures for our guests.

Good communication from host.The lodgings provided everything essential. The ladies did a fairly good job. Overall the accommodations could use a good update and overall cleanse. We walked to town and there was everything that you would need or want.

The perfect stay

The location is excellent, as are the facilities. The owners are extremely helpful and Andrea the on-site contact is an absolute gem. My wife and I stayed for 17 days and enjoyed every minute.

This is a beautiful property. On site staff, Andrea, is a delight and very helpful. Owner, Luis, is very prompt with any queries sent to him. The location couldn’t be better steps to the beach, snorkeling and restaurants.

The perfect lication

What a beautiful place. Secure parking and pet friendly. Just steps away from snorkeling a beautiful coral reef. Casa Delfin is lovely. Alma is a great host. The place is spotless and has everything we needed. I will definitely return.

A gem on the Oaxaca coast

Perfect location right above a quiet beach primarily used by locals. Great snorkeling, excellent bay for launching a kayak, and within a short drive or taxi ride of other beach towns with different vibes. Eduardo was available when we were ready to check in and was a great resource for local knowledge. He did a great job checking in to see if we needed anything throughout the course of our stay. We’ll be going back to Casa el Delfin again later this year!

Better than Expected

This property and the hosts far exceeded our expectations. The pictures and descriptions do not do this property justice. It is a wonderful location, very well situated and very secure. The water is great for snorkeling, one of the best bays in the area. We highly recommend staying here if you want to feel like a local in days.

Wonderful stay and host

We had a wonderful time staying here! Gorgeous views from our balcony, beach nearby, felt very safe and adequately comfortable on our suite. We were lucky enough to have Luis, the owner, in town during our first few days and he had amazing recommendations for food and beaches nearby. We were blown away by his warmth and hospitality. Other guests we met were all lovely. In addition to lovely Estacahuite beach nearby for snorkeling and hanging out, other beaches a short cab ride away we’re lots of fun with lots to eat, drink and explore (loved Mazunte and Zipolite). Would stay again!!

Steps from the beach with great views

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Delfin. The views are amazing. We saw whales and jumping rays every day from the shared balcony. The unit was just as shown in the pictures and had everything we needed. Luis and his staff were very responsive. The water at Bahia Estacahuite is calm and great for swimming and snorkeling. The only downside for us is that the beach and beach restaurants just below the house are very busy and can be noisy, particularly during the weekend.

A Charming Jewel Overlooking the Ocean

We chose this location to be near the ocean in Southern Oaxaca. Our goal was to escape the New England winter and start our Mexican vacation with a relaxing beach week to include some fishing. This was exactly what we were hoping for, and our hosts could not have been more helpful in arranging the fishing with a local fisherman. Our host even came along on the boat to be helpful. The view is stunning. We heard the surf from our unit. The surrounding area is simple and filled with low-key local beach activity The on-site manager was warm, friendly and available, as were the owners who happened to be on site for our visit.

Great place

You can't beat sitting on the porch and listening to the waves. The apartment is really nice and has basics for cooking but there is no BBQ. The beach is right below the property and has good snorkelling and a couple of expensive restaurants. Puerto Angel is a 15 min walk up the hill and down the other side for grocery shopping and restaurants. There is a little grocery store at the top of the hill for some basics. Watch out for the taxi drivers, they may try to rip you off. Ask for the cost before you get in, especially if you are returning from Zipolite or Mazunte. It shouldn't cost more than 200 Pesos from Mazunte.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. The apartment was great and the views spectacular. We spent much of the time on the verandah when we weren't at the beach. The beach was a few minutes walk. We cooked breakfast in the apartment, ate every day at one of the beach restaurants right in the sand. A truly relaxing time.

This is such an amazing location, We loved watching sun and moon rises over the water. The self-catering apartments had everything we needed. One thing that would make it perfect would have been to have had a few extra cushions for the lovely wood and rattan furniture.

You are literally just steps away from one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches in the area. Casa el Delfin is suited for all guests, whether you're on your honeymoon or vacationing with your whole family, we can accommodate you. Our home is very spacious, clean, secure, cozy and welcoming. Casa el Delfin is a one-of-a-kind home that is truly unforgettable. Bienvenidos!!

If you're looking for paradise, you've found it here. This is the perfect place to relax and spoil yourself with all the natural beauty that surrounds you. This is a very friendly, safe, area full of the richness of the Mexican culture, good food and shopping from artesans for keepsakes. If you're looking for the night life, just minutes away you'll find nearby Puerto Angel, Zipolite and Mazunte.

Puerto Angel (small fishing village) is a short walk away by the main road and you'll find a couple of small supermarkets and a fruit/vegetable market, as well as some beach restaurants and street food. Medical services are also available.

Pochutla, 20 minutes away by car, is the favored market town for this large area and where you'll find all you need for food shopping, banks, & main hospital.

Estacahuite is pretty peaceful. At times, there may be dogs barking and roosters in the morning, music playing & fireworks especially around the holidays, and possible construction sounds which are all part of the neighborhood. We do have a 12:00 am (midnight) quiet time at our home.
