Beachfront access and Sea Colony amenities were perfect!

We loved the convenience and flexibility of being right on the beach. Though this property is a bit dated, if it's not broken, don't fix it! Everything was functional and the location was perfect.

Cutest oceanfront condo!!

We loved staying in this condo for our family beach vacation! It was clean & spacious for our young family of 4, and in such a convenient location too! Easy walk to beach, pools, and resort amenities, as well as local restaurants! Beds were very comfortable! Bathrooms were clean and spacious. There were lots of storage areas as well. We absolutely loved the oceanfront balcony with plenty of seating and room for dining or relaxing! The kitchen was well stocked as well for cooking and grocery storage. The slider door to balcony is heavy which we took as a great safety advantage as our young children couldn’t open it easily without our help. Decor was light, airy and beachy! We also loved the reserved covered parking spot and all of the sea colony resort amenities! It’s such a well run, family friendly resort! We highly recommend this condo if you’re looking for a beautiful view, convenience to the beach, and a comfortable stay!

Awesome location, great view---needs updates.

Staying at Sea Colony is a really practical and fun way to spend your family vacation. Our small children loved it! We came upon this listing last minute and decided to book it. While it fits the bill in that it's location has everything going for it, some of the furnishings and whatnot need updating. With stores like Home Goods, Marshalls and TJ Maxx in our midst, I find it hard to believe that the owners can't spruce this place up--even just a little bit. You don't have to spend tons of money to do that......But the rental was fine and it checked most of the boxes. Just be sure to bring oil to cook with, dishwashing pods for the dishwasher, beach chairs if you don't want to rent them on the beach, and beach towels. Vacasa provides all linens and bath towels. There's only salt and pepper in the pantry---so bring all your spices if you're into cooking at home. Also, be sure to bring your fire stick if you'd like to have more to watch on a rainy day...we were eventually able to figure out netflix, but that was about it. And cable tv sucks these days apart from the fact that we were able to catch some Wimbledon, which was a win!! Overall, we had a great week!!

The property was as described and has a lovely view. We had what we needed for our visit. Some items like the iron and blender need updating (clearly 1980’s items) but they were functional. The carpet throughout desperately needs to be replaced with beach-friendly flooring or be heavily deep cleaned on the regular. Lots of stains. It didn’t appear that housekeeping did a thorough job because we found crumbs on the kitchen counters and it didn’t look like a vacuum was run based on what we saw on the floors. Bathrooms were clean though. There were still outstanding work orders from August 5 for a broken ice maker and issue with the sliding balcony door. These are things that can be easily fine tuned and overall we had a nice stay. Easy beach access and we appreciated access to carts on wheels to move our belongings from the car to the unit in one trip. The Sea Colony property in general looks very well maintained and we liked that everywhere had composite decking and a nice walkway over the dune into the beach. Would definitely return!

Don't understand

Love is too strong an emotion to describe our reaction to the property. The door to the balcony was very difficult to open. The closets were in total disarray. Ice maker was not working. Door and maker were reported.

Fantastic property

Bookings and Vacasa don’t communicate well. I booked a unit and they stuck us in a subpar crap room for $4200.

Great for a family

Very clean and just like the pictures! The patio and pool on the property are great, also. Check out the SeaColony website for rates on beach chairs and umbrellas. Worth it so you don’t have to haul your own!

ResortQuest Delaware

It was obvious the homeowners of the property loved their place and stay there often. However, ResortQuest Delaware, acting on the owners behalf, were terrible at customer service and mis-represented the properties amenities and actually gave mis-information at check in that caused us a very uncomfortable conflict with another vacationer. There was also onsite construction going on that they never conveyed and when we complained about the construction noise and the noise of the construction worker's radios, an apology was never made. Their motto is "professional management service". They must have completely missed the hospitality training. They were terrible at managing our stay.
