Welcome to "Enchanted Cossatot III!!

Enjoy the serenity and nature setting at this secluded rustic 4-bedroom log cabin overlooking the Cossatot River! The space features 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 2 cozy bunk beds, perfect for families or groups. Guests can relax in the tranquil living room, which includes a comfortable queen sofa bed. With 3.5 bathrooms equipped with showers, everyone has plenty of room to refresh. The serene atmosphere invites you to unwind after a day of adventure. Whether you’re gathering for a quiet evening or exploring nearby sights, this excellent cabin offers a welcoming retreat. You’re sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

Bring your side-by-side to get down the steep hill to the river for some fishing or kayaking (No 4 wheelers, 3 wheelers or dirt bikes allowed). Or you can just sit and enjoy the beautiful views and sounds of nature from our deck! We have the most amazingly beautiful stars at night and a firepit for smores and marshmallows!! Cabin sits on 40 acres with plenty of parking and privacy with only two other cabins nearby - both available if you have a large group! We are only 30 miles to the first river float service in Oklahoma. We like to use Tree Frog Rentals. We are 31 miles to Choctaw Casino, 37 miles to Broken Bow, 43 miles to Mena, 45 miles to Murfreesboro for antiquing or the Crater of Diamonds State Park (hunt for your own diamond!) and 46 miles to the Cossatot River State Park. There is also a 9 hole public golf course at the DeQueen Country Club.

We have 2 other cabins available if you have a larger group!

If you want to check in the same day you book your reservation, Vrbo requires us to approve this beforehand so please notify us and we will be happy to do so if possible!

Sleeping arrangements upstairs include a master bedroom with a king size log bed and an ensuite private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with an ensuite shared bathroom. The third bedroom (bunk room) includes 2 bunk beds with an ensuite shared bathroom. The fourth bedroom includes one king size bed and one queen size bed with an ensuite private bathroom. The living room is downstairs and has a sleeper sofa with a queen size hide-a-bed. There is a half bath downstairs.
The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, dishes and cooking utensils. It has an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and all the comforts of home! Central A/C and heat and ceiling fans throughout.

The living room has a smart TV and a DVD player. There are also flat screen TVs and dvd players in the bedrooms.

Our cabin has a wrap-around porch with a large covered deck in the back and a view of the river. There is a fire pit in the side yard.

Linens provided but please bring your own beach towels if needed.

Wifi service can be unreliable. We are sorry that we will be unable to guarantee that this amenity will be working during your stay and are unable to offer refunds for disruption of this or other amenities.

Large groups may be charged additional guest fees. You are welcome to bring more guests and will be invoiced for the additional guest fees after your online booking has been processed.

The house was amazing! It had great views and a homely feel. My family and I enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit and getting a daily visit from a an armadillo. It is secluded, so prepare for a 20 min drive from the closest town. But that’s what we were looking for and it was worth it. We would definitely stay again.

If you want to get away, this cabin is for you! We had a wonderful stay and the farm fresh eggs were awesome! The view was wonderful and the humming birds were a plus! Loved this cabin!!

Very cozy

The cabin was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen and back patio got the most use during our stay. John was very responsive and a great host. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway.

Awesome views. Spacious cabin and well stocked. There are 2 gates that you have to unlock and lock behind you each time you enter or exit which wasn’t mentioned when booking. WIFI wasn’t working properly.

Needed to get away

Our family and another family of friends needed to get away and let the kids be kids. The decor was a well balanced blend of rustic, industrial and some luxury. Plenty of room to visit and socialize without being up on top of each other. If you're feeling adventurous you can trek down to the nearby river. Not far away there is a bridge with room to park and swimor fish or kayak. Highly recommend. Property owners did it right and easy to work with and communicate with.

Too hot

The temp stayed at 80 degrees the entire day and most of the first night. The A/C guy came the next morning but it still was not cool but more bearable. He came back the next day and did something else which helped. The cabin itself was fine, well stocked. One of our cars lost a tire due to the rocks. Absolutely no wi-fi the entire time. So will not be going back.

You notified us when you checked in on Sunday at 4:30 PM that the house was not cool. We learned that the previous guest had turned both of the air conditioners off, so we instructed you to turn both of the air conditioners back on. Your husband notified us that the house did cool down overnight. Then at 8:53 AM on Monday morning we were told that the downstairs AC was not working again. Amazingly enough we found a repairman who was able to make it out by 10:30 AM! He was able to fix the problem with the downstairs unit. At 7 PM on Monday you notified us that now the upstairs AC was not working (what are the odds?!). The repairman came out before noon on Tuesday and fixed the problem with the upstairs unit. During all of this back-and-forth we heard no mention of the Wi-Fi not working. When we returned we tested the Wi-Fi and found it working perfectly. Had you let us know, we could’ve assisted you in connecting to it. We are so sorry you had to deal with the AC issues during your stay!

Location is great but property was not clean

We had a terrible experience about the cleanliness of the property. We saw some bed bugs and other bugs in bedrooms and kitchen. Sofa bed was extremely dirty with many bugs in there and stains. Looked like it was not cleaned in years. We also found some undergarments ( probably guests who stayed before us left those) . Overall the property was not cleaned at all before our stay. We also had some issues with downstairs air-condition and toilet flush.) Location is good with great view.

This guest stayed for 3 nights and we did not hear one single thing from him during his stay. 30 minutes AFTER he checked out he threatened that if we did not give him a refund he would leave a review saying we had bedbugs. We personally did a walk-through of the house before he checked in and it was immaculate. We did a walk-through one hour after he checked out and we saw no evidence of bugs, which was surprising because we normally do have a ladybug or two who has managed to find a way in. This guest actually sent us a picture of a ladybug and told us that it was a bedbug LOL. Apparently any guest can make up a story in the hopes they will be getting a refund. We do not pay for reviews and certainly do not give refunds based on lies and wild allegations.

Beautiful Cabin and great experience!!!

We originally booked for 14 people but last minute two of our group member coild not make it because there car broke down.The group we went with was my family members and friends 6 adults and 6 kids. All of us had the greatest time at this cabin We loved every minute of it we went fishing we enjoyed staying at the property the view was beautiful. John is a great host any questions he messaged us back fast or called us. We had no worries at all. The Cabin was clean smelled good and in a quiet remote location and pictures dont do it justice. We had to drag our kids out because they were not ready to leave which is saying alot since kids now days are all about phones and electronics. I would highly recommend this cabin and cant wait in the future to book from other listing John has.

Family Retreat

Our family retreat was quite relaxing. The cabin was quite secluded which we liked. It allowed for rest, relaxation, and the time to watch movies back-to-back as a family. The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed playing ping-pong, and everyone loved sitting around the campfire each evening. It was well-worth the drive for such a quite and peaceful time with family.

We have stayed in many many cabins all over the place This cabin was the best we’ve ever stayed at !

There was not one thing this cabin lacked We absolutely loved this place the surrounding there was not one thing you would find u may have forgotten at home they didn’t have there to equip u in your stay! The owners were so pleasant to speak to when I got lost on the way up the place is absolutely beautiful!!! It’s just an all around spectacular cabin so so much room clean it’s a must stay if u come this way and are looking for the perfect cabin!! I give 20 stars!
