Gray Cottage provides the perfect beach getaway for a family vacation. One block from family friendly Lewes Bay and a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and ice cream, our house sleeps 10 with 5 bedrooms, a sunny deck, outdoor shower, and a fenced back yard. Comfort is key with air conditioning, and wireless internet as well as six Roku TV's. Two full baths accommodate our guests. Updated furnishings make this one of the coziest cottages at the beach with an outstanding location close to town. (we ask that our guests bring their own sheets and towels)

Great location.

Perfect for our family. Boys had their own room which was nice for the adults. Good access to the beach.

Very nice spaces. Very conducive to our group. The space was safe for the kiddles to run around (except for the sharp-cornered tables, but we put bumpers on these). Good appliances, nice workspace in the kitchen. Great dishwasher.

Always a wonderful stay!

This is our third year staying at Grey Cottage and it never disappoints! The house is well set-up for families, a perfect location, and has all the amenities you could need. We highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay. Very family friendly. Wish I had found this house years sooner when my granddaughters were babies. The cottage is big enough for all of us. We all love that we can eat together at the dining room table. We’ve been looking for a house that works for us, I think we’ve found it.

Great Beach Cottage

Everything you’d need for a wonderful beach visit- walking distance to both beach and downtown Lewes. Will stay again when I’m back in the area.

Comfortable Family Retreat

We enjoyed exploring Lewis from Dove Cottage. Walking to the beach and sharing meals together were highlights.

Great home in a great location

We had the best week in Lewes and the Gray Cottage was an ideal place for my family to stay. There was so much space in the house and it was a short walk to the lovely bay beach. It was also an easy walk into town where there are so many good restaurants. The house was very well equipped and Heidi was so easy to communicate with. We would definitely look to stay there again.

Awesome Stay

Our stay was great. The owners, Michael & Heidi, we very responsive and answered questions in a timely manner. The property is so close to the bay, stores and shops, and places to eat. 10/10 would recommend!

Wonderful family getaway

This was the perfect location, half a block from the beach and a leisurely 15 minute stroll to the main downtown part of Lewes. The house itself was very cute and had everything we needed for traveling with many small kids, including a crib, two rooms with two twin beds each, beach chairs, a fenced yard, an outdoor shower, a stocked kitchen, a huge comfy couch. We loved our stay and hope to return next year!

Great house and great location!

The house is so clean and so spacious! We loved the well-equipped kitchen, the various places to eat in and around the house, and the lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. With a living room and family room, an upper deck and a furnished patio, it was easy to find a place to gather or just be alone. It is so close to the beach and to town, we walked to both several times during our stay. We hope to return to this house in the future!

Short walk to beach and town, beautiful and super clean house!

Family group of 9 had plenty of space to spread out in this beautiful home. House was sparkling clean. Loved the little yard and outdoor shower. Short walk around the corner to beach access. Photos don't do the home justice. It does not look like much from outside but wonderful inside!

Last Minute Family Vaca

So much fun !! Very family friendly. Absolutely amazed once inside the house ! Plenty of room to spread out and relax. The backyard was private and great for grandchildren to run around and play. Plenty of parking and easy walk to beach with two 3 year olds & one 5 year old. Last year we stayed in a 2 million dollar house but it was just a house. This year we were in a cozy home that everyone was able to relax and enjoy !! Communication with Michael & Heidi was prompt & easy. Thanks so much

End of summer weekend

Our young family had a wonderful time at this beach house in early September. A short walk to the beach was perfect with little kids and a quick walk to ice cream. The home was much bigger than expected and plenty of space. Very clean and owners are very prompt with responses. Just and FYI bring your own paper products and linen. Which with the current state of life is acceptable. I would stay here again. Thank you for such a cute and affordable home

The perfect beach vacation spot!

What a perfect house for a family beach vacation! Heidi and Michael were great hosts of the Gray Cottage.” They communicated clearly and in a timely fashion. The house is as described, but better! So many spots to spread out with our large group ( my husband and I with our adult kids/spouses). The big family room with a huge couch and a table for 10 was our favorite spot. The small living room was a cozy place to read or chat quietly. The patio and grill were nice for morning coffee or grilling dinner. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to cook with updated appliances and loads of paper products. And the walk to the Delaware Bay beach… a couple of minutes! It is a beautiful beach with soft sand and shallow water with mild ripples. The sunset and moonrise were gorgeous over the beach! The beds were very comfortable and the A/C and wifi worked well. Be aware that the stairs are steep and the ceiling fans are low. Overall, we had a fabulous time at The Gray Cottage!

Our second year at the Gray Cottage was as great as the first. This is a wonderful place for families to stay. Very close to the bay beach and near enough to the town center to enjoy the great restaurants. The cottage is well appointed and always clean. Check-in and check out could not be easier and communication with our hosts is a breeze. Hoping to go back again in 26'.

Charming Property

We loved our stay in this home. The location was perfect, there was plenty of space, everything was clean, beautiful and just charming. There were thoughtful extras like stacks of board games, toys for the kids, and extra blankets. We would love to return again!

Cozy yet spacious, perfect location!

All ten members of our family from age 6 to 66 enjoyed the cozy and spacious property! The walking distance to the bay was especially convenient. The kids loved the front dining area for board games and the yard for playing. The grownups liked some of the separation but there was enough seating between the open concept family room and dining area for everyone to be together.

Great place near the beach.

Great place to stay near the bay. Short drive over to Rehoboth or Dewey if that’s your scene. Nice quiet neighborhood in a historic town. Lots of trails and bike paths, very short walk to the bay. House was better than advertised and lots of room for 4 adults and 5 kids.

We love staying at Gray Cottage!

The location of this house is just perfect and the layout is wonderful for large groups staying together. This is our second year staying here and we will stay again next year if they'll have us!
