SUPERB LOCATION in Galena territory. This 2 bedroom 2 Bathroom townhome is located on Galena territory. Yes, the home is on the golf course. Galena territory offers many outdoor activities as well as museums, distilleries and the home of Ulysses S Grant. As a guest, you have an access to the owners club amenities such as fitness center, basketball and tennis courts, game rooms, indoor/outdoor pools etc. There is a flight of stairs to get to unit(picture provided)

This home comes with fully stocked kitchen for cooking, HIGH-speed WIFI

UPDATE: outdoor pool is open on May 15th with no restrictions. Some RESTRICTIONS WILL APPLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH COVID 19. Indoor Pool/court reservations may not be guaranteed with your rental.

Everything was fine for us except the last day I was taking the sheets off the bed and noticed that a previous guests socks were in the sheets, which means they were not washed. I notified the host. They apologized and said they would talk with the cleaning service. This was unsettling, as I had slept in that bed all weekend. I'm going to assume the other sheets were not washed either. I would have assumed that I receive some sort of discount but that didn't happen.

The villa was cute and cozy! It was easy to find and the roads were all paved. We mostly arrived back in the dark so we did not find or get to use any of the on site amenities but we spent most of our time downtown anyway. It was an extreme cold Dec. Weekend so the downstairs was much cooler than the upstairs but really that would be my only complaint. It was worth the price (get what you pay for) it was nothing fancy but I would recommend as well as stay again.

The property was very clean but outdated and needs some updating/repair. The couch needs replaced for instance and the refrigerator handle was broken off. The bath towels were old and worn. The exterior of the property and location is great but not well lighted. We had trouble initially finding it in the dark once in the development.

Easy check-in and check-out. Loved that this unit had enough beds for our stay. There were some books, board games, a clubhouse, and a wood burning fireplace if we wanted to use. The owner was very nice and answered all our questions in a timely matter. We left an item there, and the owner is working with us to get it back. Highly recommend this rental!

The townhouse was clean but needs some TLC - the owner said some carpeting which was ruined would be replaced the following week. Told him about some other items that needed repair. The location was great but you do need to be willing to do several steps when coming and going. The unit is for sale so maybe the motivation to maintain it is not there.

The price is 40% lower then the other around the area so keep in mind when setting your expectations it is not updated. It had just the basics you need for stay. In good area and setting. The owners club is really nice to have available. The Host is very responsive and friendly.

The air in the townhouse was stale as if there hadn't been occupied for awhile. It needs to be aired out. The minor housekeeping was taken care of the next day by the cleaning service. There were numerous burnt out bulbs to include the light outside on the front porch. One of the drawers in the kitchen almost fell out on us and we were not able to get it on track.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is extremely clean. The furniture could use a bit of updating: cushions on the couch are pretty flat. There were exactly 4 towels, three hand towels, and some wash cloths. If we had more than 4 people (sleeps 6) it would have been a problem. Because it's pet friendly, there was a slight dog smell. So if you are anti-animals, this might not be the place for you. We didn't mind at all. The last two issues may be due to the cleaning company rather than the owner.The location is lovely. The owner is very responsive. We couldn't find a remote for the bedroom, and the owner had one shipped the next day. Very nice!

This property was very clean, cozy and I love the fact that is pet friendly. The only thing that was a problem for me was the main bed in the master bedroom. I have back problems, and the bed was very hard. Perhaps, a mattress topper would do the trick.

Enjoyed our stay with family. Loved using the territory community center for swimming and games. Great shops and restaurants (especially Vinnie Vinnuchi) n downtown Galena. The only negative to this townhome is that it needs some refreshing to its furniture and decor.

Cozy and pleasant

Very well designed, spacious and comfy. The skylights gave such a pleasant light throughout the house.

The condo was very clean. All the beds were very uncomfortable, owner should invest in better mattresses. Condo was advertised as golf course view and our unit had no visible golf course views. Also ads showed parking right in front of the unit and our parking was up on a hill with two sets of stairs to haul all our things.

Comfortable and Clean

This property was perfect for a short family getaway. The area was safe and the condo is situated close to Galena and the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice relaxing weekend

It was a very nice place, which has everything you need for a weekend. Enough sleeping spots and a great location. The only slight minus of this place was the real wood fireplace and not having matches to start it.

Great stay!

Me and 4 of my friends enjoyed a "girls weekend" without husbands and kids. It's in a beautiful vacation and fit our needs for two nights. Only recommendation is it could use new living room furniture enough to seat 6 people that the condo accommodates. Overall very clean condo, but the couch had a slight odor probably due to old French fries /food under the cushion. We would definitely stay there again!

Quick get-away with dogs

Well-stocked, spacious condo. Great space to walk dogs. It just needs updating: living room furniture and master bed are dated. Nothing fancy but Great for a weekend. annnotnovecomfortable

The 2 bedroom with loft was perfect for our young family. This grouping of units did have 2 sets of stairs to walk down to get to. Everything was great and the host was easily reachable for any questions. Unfortunately they were doing maintenance work the first morning, which was unknown to the host or us, but made us start our first day promptly at 7am.

Very quiet, close to nature “retreat”. Clean, well stocked with all necessary items for a pleasant stay. The only drawback I could think of was the fact that because it was tucked away from any major town, planning became important. You couldn’t just hop in the car and get a few groceries. Minor inconvenience.
