Welcome to BearPaw's Dream. It's a completely remodeled 3 bedroom/2 bath (sleeps 10) ground floor condo with mountain views from the living room. It is located at 124 Plaza Dr. Pigeon Forge, TN and is within the Mountain View Condos Resort Complex.

BearPaw's Dream Condo is approximately 100 yards off the Parkway. It's walking distance to several Pigeon Forge attractions with connecting sidewalks all the way up the Parkway. It's next door to the Country Tonight Theater, across the street from the Titanic, and a hop and skip to the famous restaurant "The Local Goat". It is between light #0 and light#1 at the Dunkin' Donuts.

The Mountain View Condos Resort has an outdoor pool, hot tub and an indoor heated pool. We have basketball and volleyball court, shuffle board, corn hole toss, horseshoes, playground, picnic tables and BBQ grills. Not to mention a paved walking trail with swings and benches along the way for your enjoyment.

We are the new owners of this unit and have completely remodeled it. When we bought this condo, our motto was "out with the old and in with the new". We have upgraded everything in this condo. It is equipped with all new appliances, granite countertops, flooring, tile showers, new jacuzzi tub, and new toilets. Let's not forget to mention that it has all new and modern furniture, bedding, memory foam mattresses, pillows, and luxury sheets and towels.

Watch wildlife play in the woods from right inside the living room. Cozy up on the 2 recliners or the 2 leather sofas next to the electric fireplace and enjoy this peaceful getaway.

Master bedroom has a complete separate entrance. Walk out the french doors to your private patio view. Breathe in the crisp mountain morning air while enjoying your morning coffee. The Master bedroom has a king memory foam mattress, flat screen TV, hidden mini fridge, mini microwave and mini Keurig. The master bathroom has a 2 person jacuzzi tub and separate large walk in shower.

Living Room Sofa- Let's out to a queen bed with bedding located in the closet of bedroom #1

This is the 4th year in a row that we've stayed in this condo for a long weekend. Over the 4 years, there are things that have aged, and haven't been replaced. Lamps, rugs, etc. pictured are no longer there. The toaster in the kitchen is cracked open on one side, the skillet is in need of replacement and has been there for all 4 years. The same bed covers are still in use in some of the rooms. And, for the first time, we had to change the sheets in one of the beds because it looked like housekeeping had missed it. The location, the bed layout, etc. we have so enjoyed over the years, but nothing has been updated since before the first year we arrived and needs attention, especially for the price.

We enjoyed our stay. Easy booking and check in. Host was great and provided us with everything we needed. Perfect location for us. Only two issues were the light was out at the front door and a large invasion of lady bug at both back doors. To be fair everyone in Pigeon were complaining about them. Overall great stay and will book this unit again.

This was a good place to stay. Very close to everything. The pool and location were great! The only issue was the bedding was left dirty and there were no extra sheets to use the night we arrived. I had to wash the bedding the next day and the fitted sheet had a tear that was worse after washing it. I would recommend the host have clean linens and back-ups for all beds.

It truly is a beautiful condo!! It's the second time we've stayed and we love love it! It's always very clean and beautifully decorated..We take our granddaughters and the room with two beds is perfect for them!

GSMNP family trip

The nicely updated condo suited our family perfectly. It was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The condo amenities were a nice addition. The children enjoyed viewing the wildlife from the living room. We would definitely rent again if back in the area.

We love staying at the Mountain View Condo facility and have stayed in several different units. For being so close to everything it feels peaceful and quiet. A little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle.This condo was lovely and nicely decorated. It was fairly quiet, which we were worried about being on the first floor and facing the parkway. We saw ground hogs and skunks every night. The kitchen has several items we needed, but lacked some basic utensils. There was a crockpot. We didn’t use it, but it was available. We did have some issues with the condo and communication. The jacuzzi tub and living room fan did not work. I made the owner aware and despite the repairman coming and even replacing a part, the jacuzzi tub never worked. The fan wasn’t a big dealt us but the jacuzzi was a disappointment. It would have been wonderful after coming back from our hikes, but it did not work out. In the past we have always been required to wear rubber bracelets to the pool and everyone at the pool area was wearing them. I asked 2 times ant the beginning of the trip about the bracelets and never received a response.

Third year in a row

This is the third year in a row the four of us have stayed in this unit. We love that there are three bedrooms with four beds so that we can spread out and have bed space to ourselves when apart from our snoring husbands. The first floor access makes it easy to get in and out of the unit. It's nice that it's on the end as well. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and pans. The showers are great with almost immediate hot water. The couches and chairs are comfortable. The only issue we had is the wifi for the unit itself never worked during our stay and the wifi offered by the complex makes it impossible to send or receive pictures. We will return again next year.

Pigeon Forge Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. Kid's really enjoyed the animals that came upon every night outside to eat. The condo was very clean and very nice. We really loved the condo and location of the condo. We will more than likely try to book the condo again if available.

Everything about the stay was great. Location is just what we needed for our Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg day trips. The communication and instructions prior to our arrival were complete and clear. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoy this location

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit for a girls trip. It’s easy to locate, convenient to everything in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, and first floor access makes it simple to unload/load. The bedrooms are comfortable sizes allowing all 4 of us to have our own bed. The kitchen is nice and there is plenty of seating in the den and at the dining table. We will likely book it again for the next year.

Great place!

Awesome communication. Very helpful in the booking and accommodation of our crazy schedule. Love the bottom floor unit and the pictures are the same as the unit! Would stay again if we get back to a Ripken Experience.

Son’s wedding

We rented the condo for ourselves & a couple family members. The condo is certainly spacious and with 6 adults we had plenty of room. The check in process was easy, but there were no check out instructions or instructions, period. We are intelligent adults and it took us 3 days to figure out the TV situation. I contacted the owner but didn’t get a response until 4pm the day before we were leaving. The condo could use a good cleaning, I was barefoot and my feet were black. There is a broken ceramic planter on the patio and cigarette butts all over. The location is nice, walking distance to many attractions.

Family Vacation

Property is located in a good location, near the main Parkway, but not directly on. Resort had plenty of amenities for young and old; pools, playground etc. Condo is spacious and provided all the room we needed. We enjoyed our stay overall but there are some things that could make the condo better. Cleaning and just general maintenance could be improved. The condo has an odd, unpleasant musty smell, scuffed paint etc. The biggest complaint is the a/c does not appear to work in the master bedroom and does not have a ceiling fan to offset that making it uncomfortably warm.

I am Renee Hurst the owner of BearPaw's Dream. My husband, Todd and I are from Lineville, Alabama. We have been married for 28 years and have 2 grown children and 1 precious grandchild. We enjoy buying, renovating, managing and selling properties. I have a love and a passion for party planning, design and decorating. My husband is a general contractor and he owns a construction company based in Munford, AL. Having a husband as a contractor is an all time plus. He is the "Chip" to all of my "JoAnna" design ideas. We are nuts for a fixer upper and have always had some sort of renovation or project going on for the past 28 years.

Pigeon Forge, TN is one of our favorite places to visit. We love all the nature that is has to offer, as well as the numerous attractions, restaurant's, shows and shopping it has to offer. You don't want to miss out on having a Pigeon Forge experience. BearPaw's Dream Unit 1101 went from rags to riches in 2020. It was in pitiful shape when we purchased it and it had never had any repairs or updates since it was built in 2007. I could see the potential that it had and instantly fell in love and the Mountain View Condos Resort. We had previously looked at many cabins and condos and quickly discovered that parking and yard space seemed to always be an issue. Mountain View Condos Resort solved all of those issues for us. It has a mountain view, our unit is on the ground floor, plenty of parking for the 10 guest we can accommodate, plenty of outdoor activities for adults and kids. It was the perfect condo for us and for our potential guest.
