Great family vacation

The location was centrally located within walking distance for food & shopping. Our group enjoyed walking to the nearby beaches & the bobbing turtles were a sight to see. We had a couple of issues but the owner was very quick to get it fixed. The description of the property was spot on & look forward to staying here again.

Lovely Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful house! Waking up to walk outside to see turtles in the surf each morning was magical. Highly recommend this wonderful house.

Perfect spot!

The location was perfect - a beautiful ocean view and walkable to the beach and food/shops. The host was responsive and replaced the grill quickly when it stopped working. We had an amazing vacation.

We sat on the porch for hours, just enjoying miles of vast ocean waters. We also sat in the jacuzzi, BBQ'd, and ate dinner on the front porch table. The place has AC on those hot, humid days, and each bedroom has a nice, comfortable bed. Great service too!

Location was perfect. View was fantastic. We were able to do everything we wanted to do with the house as our HQ. We could also walk to most things we needed. Bathrooms were a little small and no shower in the master bedroom.

Perfect Po’ipu location

The house fit six adults comfortably and was well stocked. The pictures are pretty accurate and you can’t beat the views from the deck. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms and the rare find of an air conditioned house. Easy walk to beautiful Sheraton Beach with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Some of the linens could use some updating and the house was not as clean as we would have liked. All in all we would still recommend.

It literally extends the property, it is amazing and we spent most of our time there. Beaches and food option are just a short walk away. The kitchen was so generously stocked with everything you would need. The only downside is that I do feel the mattresses all need to be replaced.

Poipu cottage

The cottage rests in a beautiful location which is a short walk from the beach in front of the Sheraton Hotel. The sea turtles swim in large numbers across the street from the home. The home was furnished with all the necessary items. I was just hoping that for the price we were paying, the furnishings would be a bit more luxurious. The furnishings felt basic (no robes, two pillows for each bed, mundane quality sheets, very little overhead lighting, two dish towels, no broom to give an idea) These aren't huge complaints, but for the price a few more luxuries would have been nice. Overall it was a fine place to stay and the realty company was very easy to work with

50th Birthday Trip to Kauai

The home is lovely, although the bathrooms are a bit small and need a little updating. The kitchen is great -- well laid-out and lots of space in fridge and cabinets. The only downside is that the road in front of the house could get a bit busy at times - lots of cars, walkers, bike riders, motorcycles going by, and some that park outside the house to watch the sunset. Can't blame folks - the sunsets are pretty amazing!We loved that there were really good shops and restaurants just minutes away.All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay, loved sitting out on the porch reading and watching the ocean! We really appreciated the folks at Oceanfront Realty, too.

Koa Cottage

The property, home, and utilities were all fantastic. The view and location well exceeding our expectations. The check in process and communication could be improved. Responses to our questions were answered by different agents so the continuity of conversations was not consistent. We requested to check in early one agent said it wasn't available another said it was, finally we drove to the property finding it available and called, a 3rd agent answered and said it was OK to check in early. I messaged a suggestion to avail more towels for future renters, one agent thanked me for the suggestion, another answered rather rudely basically stating it is what it is. Just a minor wrinkle in an otherwise fantastic rental, but worth mentioning.

Great location/great home!

This was a perfect location near everything in Poipu without being in the midst of all the hotels. The ocean was right across the street, and the street is not incredibly busy. That said, if you're looking to be ON the beach, this home isn't. There is a sea wall with waves breaking on rocks which allowed us to watch the sea turtles in the surf endlessly! I have only two small comments which I'm not sure I understood from the way the home is listed. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with king beds. There are 2.5 bathrooms. Our agreement with the other family of 3 adults was that we would pay half the rent if we could have the master bedroom. In this home what would be considered as the primary bedroom only had 1/2 bath (toilet/sink). We wanted our own private bathroom so we went to bedroom 3 which is considerably smaller and has a bathroom/laundry across the hall. The bedroom with the full bath has a queen size bed which also wouldn't work for us. I can't speak for the beds in the other two rooms, but I feel the one in Bedroom 3 is in need of replacing. It was not near as comfortable as the one in the previous VRBO on Oahu. As long as you're OK with the bedroom/bathroom setup, I can highly recommend this property.

Ono Hale Koa

This was the fourth time we have stayed in this bungalow-the first time since the current owner renovated it. I have to say, we liked the previous low key vibe of the cottage on our previous stays-but the updates the current owner has made are just fantastic. Newly updated kitchen, updated bathrooms, and added a third bedroom, and air conditioning (which we never used). And the Koa furnishings, cabinets and wall panels are just gorgeous. Plenty of living space both inside and out. Great having a front yard with an ocean front view. Fantastic sunset every night. If I were to buy a place on Kauai, this is the kind of place I would want. Had a problem with a leaking toilet-and management had a plumber there the next day. Management was easy to get a hold of, and very responsive. The only changes that I found to be negative are not related to the cottage itself, but to the busyness of the street in front of the cottage. Previously, the neighborhood seemed off the beaten path- now there seemed to be a lot more traffic on the road out front -especially at sunset . And, the Koloa Landing Resort opened up behind the property, and there seemed to be a lot more people walking around than on previous visits. The front yard/driveway are a great buffer from the vehicle/pedestrian traffic. 5 Stars in my book-will return.

The property was well maintained, clean with a fully equipped kitchen. Hot tub needed some servicing but the property mgmt had someone out the same day to take care of it. Location is great, short walk to the beach by the Sheraton, short walk to shopping/restaurants in the other direction. Sunsets were amazing, either from the porch or across the road at the sea-wall. Will definitely come back.

Generous deck seating and nice dining tables both in- and outside. Sunset brings lots of car and foot traffic to area, but since home is set back from street, guests have privacy. The neighborhood is popular with walkers and joggers, so lots of morning activity too, but it's quiet. Pleasant interactions with property management team which is very responsive.

Great location with great front yard and views.

If you want to watch the waves and ocean this is the property. Only downside is if you like to cook the cookware is a bit tired.

Wonderful Location

Great location along the water with gorgeous sunsets and an easy walk to beaches and resorts. The house has two nice sized bedrooms with a third smaller bedroom with a Murphy bed. The four of us had plenty of space

What a View

The house was spacious and well kept great for families. Only a short walk to the beach . You can sit on the deck and watch the whale and dolphins all day. There were also lots of turtles to watch swimming amongst the rocks. The sunsets were spectacular and the area was close to many activities such as zip lining, surf lessons, hiking etc. Only one disappointment was the hot tub. It was not kept well and we could not use it.
