Book early for summer! COZY CABIN

LAKEFRONT & PRIVATE DOCK. This peaceful lake home is located in a calm bay minutes away from Breezy Point Resort with breathtaking sunrises and starry breezy nights. Warmer weather brings bonfires and pontoon cruises…winter snowfall gives every snowmobiler endless possibilities of the up north Minnesota trails. Being right on the shore of Pelican Lake will allow you to take a boat or icehouse out to fish, water ski, wakeboard/surf, cross-country ski, and even snowshoe across the lake.

With two bedrooms, and a four-season porch with a sleeper sofa (and doors to close it off), there is plenty of privacy for couples or families. Sleeps up to 8 guests. 1-queen bed, 1-full bed, a 1-twin bed, 1-pull out full sleeper sofa, and 1-pull out queen sleeper sofa. If preferred, a queen air mattress is also available for guests.

The cabin is comfortably furnished with updated appliances, including dishwasher, and washer/dryer. A flat screen TV, cable, and wireless, high-speed internet will keep you in the loop with the every-day.

Due to the STR licensing regulations for the city location (Breezy Point, MN), the Four Season Porch is listed as the third bedroom. This allows the cabin to sleep up to 10 ppl. We list the property to sleep only 8, due to only having one bathroom/comfort-wise.
**There is an extra charge of $25 per person per night, after 6 ppl
***The wood-burning fireplace is not operational at this time.

We attended a wedding at Breezy Point. This cabin allowed all 8 of us to stay 1 mile away for about the same cost of 1 room/2 nights at Breezy Point

More negatives than I would like for the price

Cabin was sufficient for our group but bedrooms were hot at night and linen didn't fit well. The kitchen and living room lighting was very dim, even used the light above stove. Almost too dim to play games in the afternoon, I kept using my phone light.Cabin was clean, but fridge and microwave needed a wash. I found laundry in the dryer, felt like they left me a chore.Cabin had short driveway, 4 cars barely and was located on busy cty road between 2 curves so very blind and caution is needed especially when backing a boat in or out.Outside seating was by the fire, no room in front and only grass in back. Grass was very tall, I imagine due to the rain but was over ankle in height. I would have liked some patio.I inquired about the dock as we were bringing a 20 foot fishing boat and was told it would be fine. The picture was not accurate, it was a massive growth of lily pads which when we got away from dock we could use the trolling motor. Right by the dock, was only about 2 feet of muck. Backing up from the dock was impossible with no motor. Area was quiet, didn't even see neighbors, owners were very responsive.Overall, I was disappointed in no wood or even kindling, no toilet paper or kleenex, the soap for shower was a 3 in 1 product. I forgot aluminum foil and was surprised when I looked in the cabinet but sadly a person left about 3 inches. We have stayed in many rentals, this one had more negatives that I would prefer.

Summer getaway

Jaime was amazing to communicate with and answered promptly every time! Check-in/out was a breeze with no issues feeling secure. House was very clean and well stocked which is rare to have everything you need in abundance! All light switches were clearly marked which is a bonus so you’re not struggling to find the right switch. Loved the ceiling fan options to circulate airflow. Never used the washer/dryer, but definitely nice to have just in case. All updated appliances that worked and very clean! A couple of negatives of the week was that it rained 3 straight days so we had to find alternative activities. Also, we found that the grill was caked with grease & dirt. My husband is a grill master so he took the time and spent an hour cleaning it (still needs a little work). In addition, we planned on using the dock to park our boat (which I verified ahead of time to make sure it would work with the size) but it was way too shallow, mucky and weedy so we kept it on the trailer for the week. With that said, the driveway is on a very busy road with blind spots, so backing it up was a big challenge. Finally, I cleaned the bathroom ceiling of cobwebs and spiders which was a bit disappointing based on the rest of the house being clean. All in all, it was a good week and we felt very comfortable staying there!

The property is clean, well kept and quiet. Lake was weedy, so we didnt go in the water. We planned one full day at the cabin in the backyard near the lake and were surprised when someone (presumably the owner) showed up unannounced to mow the yard in the middle of the afternoon. We ended up having to spend a couple hours inside that afternoon because we would have been in the way while he was mowing, which was disappointing. :(

A true Minnesota lake get away wow

Amazing place. 1 mile from the center of the resort. Privacy is second to none. Been coming to Breezy for 40 years. This place hits all the check marks for a vacation home. Dock with fish for the kids or adults wife caught a big bass. Nice playground accross the street. Golf cart, jet ski and boat rental all available. Clean house lots of beds. Thanks so much will be back. The nature surrounding you on the dock here is really unique.

Golf Trip

Nice place over all. The light did not work in one of the bedrooms, garbage disposal didn’t work, there were only 4 pieces of firewood left for us. The private dock is less than to be desired. It’s in a swamp. Place was very clean and roomy.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is very cozy, it was clean, the property was beautiful. Not a far drive from Nisswa which was very nice! Jamie was very easy to communicate with. I have zero complaints and would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Vacation Cabin

We had a wonderful time on our vacation, this cabin was exactly as described and worked great for our family, just a mile from Breezy Point Resort. Very clean, lots of pans, pots and kitchen utensils, as well as a few containers to use which was helpful. The bathroom was well stocked with many towels and a washer dryer which we also appreciated. We loved having the dock right outside the back and saw lots of fish, beavers and even a baby deer. Communication with owners has also been great, will stay here again!

Family Vacation

The cabin was exactly as described. At check in, it was clean, bright and comfortable. Check in was a breeze, as was check out. Kitchen and linen closets were well supplied. My kids enjoyed the streaming service options on the TV whwn we needed aome down time. If ever in the area again, I would definitely stay.

Comfort!

It was as advertised, and comfortable. Beds were good. We were surprised to find that we didn’t need to supply towels! There were some unexpected extras available, such as a bag of ice, and a spare gas tank for the grill. We would have liked the lights a little brighter in the kitchen, but it’s a very minor point.Well appreciated.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Cabin is very clean and cozy. The private dock was very nice to tie our boat up to and we liked sitting on the benches listening to all of the wildlife around us. Highly recommend.

Cute, Cozy, Great Location

Went up and stayed for the weekend for a bach party. The property was perfect. Very cozy and had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable! It is in a great location...good restaurants, shops, hiking nearby. Thank you for opening your home to us!

My husband and I have stayed in many rentals for travel/leisure, and have always enjoyed the hospitality and unique qualities of each location. Having a property of our own has been a dream of ours, and hope that each guest that stays enjoys every minute of it. We are excited to have this new venture to share with you!

Living in Minnesota all our lives, we have experienced the beautiful sites of what this awesome state has to offer. Lake living is our favorite...for 13 plus years now. Owning another lake property has been an great experience, thus far.

Breezy Lakehouse Retreat is a perfection location for families or couples. Direct access to Pelican Lake gives guests the opportunity for fishing, water sports, snowmobiling, and skiing. Guests can also venture to Nisswa for shopping, or even go into Crosslake for amazing dining. Being so close to Breezy Point Resort, there are endless possibilities to golf, dine, rent boats/fish houses...
Not to be bias, but this little cabin could not be in a more perfect spot!
