Cozy houseboat located in the downtown Port City Marina nestled among The Cove Riverwalk Villas. It is centrally located between the Wilmington Convention Center and the new City Park and Amphitheater. Rare opportunity to stay not near the water but ON the water. Amazing views not only of the Cape Fear River but also of the beautiful yachts that visit and call Port City Marina home.

Beautiful open layout with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. First floor includes full kitchen, dining room, living room, one of the bedrooms and full bathroom that includes a washer and dryer. The second floor includes the master bedroom with a full bathroom and additional living room with sectional couch that includes a pullout queen sofa bed. The views from the spacious second floor outdoor patio (with retractable privacy fence) with sink and mini fridge and comfortable seating will have you planning your next visit. We are in a premier location with direct views of the Cape Fear River and the yachts in the marina.

Port City Marina is also a center for entertainment and dining along downtown Wilmington's Riverwalk, popular Front Street and the Historic District. If you love music, Downtown Wilmington is the place to be. There are concerts at Marina Grill, the Marina Pier and the Live Oak Amphitheater, all riverfront. You can enjoy this live music directly from our outdoor patio. Wilmington has been recently ranked as the top up-and-coming destination in the South.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The houseboat was so lovely. It was very clean and we were welcomed with the most pleasant smell when we walked in. I must say this has been the most relaxing stay. We will definately be back. The host was great with making sure we were well informed and had everything we needed. Down to complimentary snacks and water. The Cove staff was also great. I give it a 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

The pictures were accurate. The location was great. Not far from the beach and walkable to three great restaurants. Bonita, Marina Grill and Sugo. The property staff was amazing and super nice. The golf cart service was a life saver. Highly recommend you read the host detailed instructions. They truly covered everything but I missed how to lock the door. They were fast to respond and followed up to make sure we figured it out. 100% would stay again. Perfect room me and three 19year Olds.

Overall a good stay. Cute houseboat that is well stocked and host even provided water and snacks upon arrival. Also nice having four beach chairs available to use (in great condition) for our girls trip. The only complaint was when the neighbors in the adjacent houseboat decided to continue partying on their deck after they got home from the bars around 2:00 AM. I was disappointed that no one was available after hours with the Cove management company to assist with this but eventually contacted the Wilmington police who immediately came and handled the situation and shut it down at 3.30 AM.

The facility was everything we expected and more in terms of presentation, safety, cleanliness, comfort, location, and views.The host was in contact prior to arrival, during our stay, and did a follow up after checkout. The host was very attentive, provided great info about the area, and ensure that all our needs were met and they were available to assist if needed. They provided water and snacks which enhanced our arrival after a long trip. We are Patrick and Kelly Patterson, owners of HB3. We are from Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

A little history about how HB3 came to be. We purchased our houseboat in April of 2021. We call our it HB3 because we were the third houseboat to be built in the marina. The first two were the models.

Our youngest son attends UNCW. We came to visit him one weekend and stayed at a hotel right near the marina. The marina was hosting a boat show where Atlantic Houseboats was offering tours of their houseboat models. On a whim we decided to take a tour. We fell in love with the concept and could not pass up the opportunity to part of this growing community. The rest is history!!

If you love music, Downtown Wilmington is the place to be. There are concerts at Marina Grill, the Marina Pier and the Live Oak Amphitheater, all riverfront. It's also a few steps from the Wilmington Convention Center and a block from the Wilson Center. The opportunities are endless!

The houseboat rental property at the marina offers convenient access to Historic Downtown Wilmington, less than a mile away. Guests can explore the vibrant area by strolling along the Riverwalk, taking a free trolley, or driving a short distance down Water Street. Downtown Wilmington boasts a variety of attractions, including local shops, restaurants, breweries, live music venues, and events, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
