Relaxing weekend stay

Our family had an amazing weekend at this lake house! It was the perfect getaway with so many activities. We loved fishing, swimming and boating. The house was awesome and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

We booked this h9me for a HS graduation family celebration. Very spacious living, kitchen, dining & deck areas. Bedrooms were spacious & beds super comfortable. Our family totally enjoyed our time & will return again. Highly Recommend this VRBO 100%. Will ( host) was very responsive, friendly & helpful.

Thanksgiving Family Getaway

This was a very clean property that delivered everything that was promised. It was a very peaceful, relaxing location and the accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing off the pier…caught and released quite a few bass. We liked it so much that we’re thinking about coming back this summer.

Wonderful place to Stay

This lake place was just what we needed to relax. It is located on a beautiful private lake which made the stay even better. Our host took care of all the needs we might have had. We are so glad we came and would like to return.

This property has everything you need. Multiple bathrooms, wifi and smart tv, fishing dock, liquor store (lol) and dollar general around the corner.

Perfect Lakehouse

Quiet, relaxing, clean, and plenty to do. Easy communication. Great porch for hanging out or drinking coffee with a beautiful view of the lake. Fully furnished and with the extras like games, kayaks, paddleboard, life jackets…

Beautiful deck and view of the lake with a firepit and comfortable outdoor furniture. Nice dock for fishing. Comfortable bed and big couch for Netflix and chill!

Above & Beyond!

We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay! The kids had a blast out on the water and didn’t want to come in each evening! Will, the host, went above and beyond to accommodate us as we had my MIL with us who has Alzheimer's We will be back sooner than later for sure!

Excellent Holiday

Our family typically goes to Orange Beach for Thanksgiving, this year we were forced to try something different. What a great idea! Beautiful property, easy drive. This property will be our new normal and a regular meeting place for our family.

Relaxing and very clean

Neat and very clean. This is one of the best stocked homes we’ve ever rented. Plenty of paper goods, cooking utensils and soaps and laundry products. The back porch was our favorite place to sit and enjoy the great weather we had while there. Nice clean fishing dock. And very dog friendly. Great WiFi

Perfect Getaway

The Lake House was the perfect Spring Break getaway for our family of four and our dog. The house itself was well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The owners were excellent about communicating when we had questions. The views of the lake are amazing! It was so peaceful sitting on the covered patio watching the sun rise and set. We had fun kayaking around the lake, fishing, and playing games. We will definitely be back again!

Best little getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful time. We brought our two dogs who also had a great time. We all got to relax on the lake and enjoy absolute Peacefulness. The dock was great for the kids and the dogs, to jump off of. In fact even the homeowners had dog life Jackets available . There was plenty a room for everybody to Rome. The house was very comfortable. We will definitely be back. This is one of the best little weekend escapes. I definitely will be recommending this little gem!

Taylors Ivanhoe 2023 Visit

This was our second stay with Will at Virgil's place. There is something so peaceful and serene about this place, we all did not want to leave. I thank Will for sharing this place with us all. I had a chance to recharge my batteries some just enjoying the views, Kayaking, swimming/floating, perch fishing, family games and exploring the area on our golf cart. The place has everything you need to chill, relax, be comfortable and entertained if that's what you need.. We want to come back in the fall or winter if time permits and also definitely next summer. Thanks!

Amazing Lake Cabin

We are so happy we found this stunning property to stay at with family over Spring Break! This Lake Cabin has all the comforts of home and an amazing deck that overlooks the beautiful lake! This was a favorite hangout spot for the family and our dogs. Hubby and the boys loved getting up in the morning and going to the dock in the backyard for fishing. Lots of rest and relaxation enjoying the outdoors of the cabin and strolling around the neighborhood. The inside of the house is very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. The home was immaculate when we arrived and had a kitchen stocked up very nicely with cookware, great space for cooking and a BBQ area on the deck. We also had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were the nicest people!

I am a retired Navy veteran who purchased the lake house after being medically retired to spend more time with family on a beautiful lake. We have currently purchased an RV and are traveling the country and want people to enjoy our beautiful lake house. We have had some amazing times at the lake and would love to share the same experiences with other people!

It is the perfect getaway for anyone traveling through, having a vacation with the family or just wanting some quiet time away from the city. Especially if you love relaxing on the back deck by the water or fishing.

The back porch and the amazing view of the water is definitely the highlight of the property. Perfect for spending some alone time reading or family gatherings with a BBQ pit you can use. Don't let this take away from the large, open and very comfy inside of the house. If there is a rainy day, no worries we have you covered with video games, dart board, puzzles and plenty of board games. There is also a large television in the living room with Apple TV and multiple streaming services but with all of the other activities you might not need it! High speed Wifi is also available if you need to get any work done.

If you want to fish there will be multiple poles you can use along with a couple of kayaks and a paddle board. Fishing right off of the dock is always fun as well, where there's a table and chairs for relaxing or dinner right on the water.

We will be adding unique items people may enjoy looking at from my time in the military and my military working dog Cairo.
