Awesome place

We came for the eclipse. It was a perfect quiet place just minutes away from town ( and all the crowds) We walked into the field to have a 360* viewing !! The house was charming. Brand new bathrooms and wonderful linens. Kitchen had everything we needed.

A Dream Come True

The beautiful farmhouse was rich with history. The amenities were all modern. The place was very comfortable. It filled our senses. We could cook our incredible Vermont meats, dairy and vegetables in the fully stocked kitchen. The land and sky were stunning. We saw flying squirrels, deer, and birds. The constellations spread over the whole sky at night. In addition to all of that, we had glorious days skiing at nearby Stowe. I would love to return to this magical farmhouse. It was perfect in every way.

Serenity in Stowe

We enjoyed a gorgeous Columbus Day weekend during peak foliage at this quaint, clean, and beautifully maintained cottage. Perfect location just outside town on a private drive, pond with fire pit and views. Just a short 10 min drive to Shaws for groceries and downtown Stowe for fun. Great laundry room and bathrooms, and the wood burning fireplace was stocked. The bed linens were quality and so clean. My small pet enjoyed the large yard. No covered parking however.

Perfect AGAIN!

This was our second stay at the Bedell Cottage and it was as magical as the first time. The peace and quiet are unparalleled and we loved sitting in the backyard with our dog sipping tea. It will not be our last time there!

Beautiful!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Quintessential New England! They call it a cottage but it’s more like a farmhouse. Had everything we needed, very comfortable and our dogs loved it too!

Cute cottage, good location

We arrived during a snowstorm and the property was shoveled/plowed multiple times. The house was very clean and nicely appointed. The location felt remote but actually quite close to town. Would definitely stay again.

Hallmark movie experience!

What a lovely property that did not disappoint over Christmas. The place was gorgeous upon arrival, like we just stepped into a Christmas Hallmark movie. It was super clean, updated, and more kitchen luxuries that allowed us to cook during the entire stay. Loved every minute of our stay.

Picture perfect getaway in great location

The house was super cute and looked just like the photos. Location 10 minutes to Stowe was perfect. The property is beautiful with lots of open space and pretty trees, and the neighborhood had beautiful views of fall foliage. It was a great spot for our group of 4.

Fall Foliage Delight

My 2 adult daughters and I truly loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! Not only was it charmingly appointed, but the gorgeous surroundings were bucolic, peaceful and oh so lovely. It was a great central location to tour around Vermont—to cider mills, scenic farms for apple picking, hiking, shopping and general sightseeing. We took some amazing walks in the wooded environs, to a picturesque covered bridge surrounded by some of the most awe-inspiring autumnal trees. It was an ideal spot for a mother-daughter getaway. A perfect spot to relax and recharge. We made some delicious meals in the small, but well-appointed kitchen and enjoyed curling up in the beautiful and comfortable living room with good books and mugs of hot cider. The master bedroom is huge and the bed is super comfy. I was even able to do some work sitting at the antique desk there. The other 2 rooms are smaller, but also comfortable. The third bedrooms has a twin daybed and is best suited for a single person. It’s a cozy house and makes the best possible use of the space. It was rainy while we were there so we didn’t sit outside, but we could tell it’s a really nice area to sit and relax and for kids and dogs to play and romp. Communication with the manager and owner was clear and timely. This is one of the best VRBO properties I’ve ever stayed at and I highly recommend this charming renovated farmhouse and dearly hope to return!

Perfect Mountain Cottage

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The house was charming and impeccably clean. The grounds are expansive, beautiful, and well cared-for. We loved sitting at the table in the backyard with views of the pond and mountains beyond. Stowe was a short 8-10 min drive away. We had a terrific time and hope to return!

Beautiful home in a serene setting made for the perfect vacation

We had a wonderful visit to Stowe and loved returning home to this beautiful home. The property is stunning, with so much to take in - the flowers, the pond, the mountains. The kitchen was a delightful place to prepare meals - it has everything we needed. The living room and bedrooms are so nicely decorated, yet also genuinely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Beautiful country cottage

My husband and I have just returned from a long weekend at this lovely home. We loved the location which was situated on a beautiful, quiet property close to Sterling Forest hiking trails, picturesque cycling routes and to town. Everything about this cottage was top notch and comfortable. We have rented several properties in Stowe over many years and are talking about our next trip and staying here again.

Truly beautiful

We were a little suspicious if a property that accepts dogs would be clean enough for our standards. The place was impeccable and well cared for. All basic necessities were provided, kitchen was well stocked with different oils and various spices. The views were beautiful and the whole atmosphere was relaxing. Huge plus was a total privacy! Nicely tucked away from any roads. Also my 5yr old went gaga with the pond & the frogs in it :) I would love to buy my little place in VT but where to find something just like that!?

Amazing cottage!

Everything about the cottage was perfect. The grounds were fantastic and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for getting out to some spectacular hikes with awesome views around Stowe.

Cozy cottage

The cottage was exactly as described. Extremely clean. The appliances (dishwasher, range and oven) are quite good. The cottage is cozy (as advertised) but was perfect size for our family of four and the grounds were lovely, especially covered in snow. The property manager, Mandy, was the most responsive we have ever experienced. Responded to texts within minutes and was super helpful. The first morning a sprinkle of snow brought out the groundskeeper to sweep the steps first thing in the am. The layer of snow during our visit made the cottage setting even more picturesque and they left out 3 sleds for our use. Kids had a blast. A short 15 minute ride to town and the slopes. Great food options. A few practical things to note. They are serious about checking to make sure the flue is open. My husband (who grew up making fires in his fireplace) thought it was open but was mistaken causing a lot of smoke to enter the house the first night. The local fire department made a visit (felt badly but the guys couldn’t have been nicer). No smart tv or streaming channels but had some DVD’s and direct tv. the tv detox was much needed. There is no sound system for music so bring a small portable speaker to listen to music if your phone isn’t your jam. Kitchen had plenty of olive oil canola oil balsamic vinegar sugar packets salt and pepper along with dish soap a fresh sponge and dishwasher soap. Also the bathrooms had very nice liquid soap shampoo conditioner and moisturizer. Great washer and dryer with detergent. Overall, a wonderful visit. Would highly recommend to anyone and come back.

Charming Cottage

We loved the cottage, it's extremely comfortable and well designed. The setting is beautiful and it is just a few minutes from Stowe. We've been visiting Vermont yearly for a decade, and this cottage is a favorite and we hope to return!

Perfect VT Getaway

Can't recommend this cottage enough. The entire house was spotless when we arrived, interior decoration and design is so charming and well done and the beds were incredibly comfy! We brought our 2 dogs with us and they both had the time of their lives exploring the property and playing all day. Incredible star-gazing at night and a short and beautiful drive into the town of Stowe. Can't wait to come back for another visit next summer (or maybe even winter for some skiing!).

Perfect mountain weekend

This was the most delightful experience in a VRBO/Airbnb that I have had. The house is beautiful and well kept with a well equipped kitchen and grill if you choose to stay in and cook -- and why wouldn't you, the property and views are amazing. The bonus of bringing our dogs made the trip that much more special. As a result of this vacation we are now looking to buy a place in the area, we enjoyed it that much!!
