Spacious Beachfront Paradise- Up to 12 Guests!

If you are looking for a gorgeous, private, summer getaway perfect for the entire family, Johnson Cove Lake House is calling your name!

Enjoy a traditional Maine beach and private dock perfect for children to play with the sand and beach toys provided. A canoe, 2 kayaks, and floats supplied for your entertainment. This gorgeous home is surrounded by stone patios and well manicured lawn and gardens. There is a gazebo just steps away from the water.

A very bright and airy feel to this lake house to enjoy all the seasons. The rooms are tastefully decorated and a view of the lake and grounds are available from almost every window.

The entire home including the bunk house is available from April 1 to Dec 1 yearly and will sleep up to 12.
The bunk house is NOT accessible during the months of November to the end of March, so the main house will sleep up to 7 with a fold out couch for children.

Rural , private quiet camp road with a mix of year round residents and summer residents.

Beautiful lakefront property

Well-appointed modern lakefront home with plenty of space to spread out. Everything we needed, including kayaks and canoe and lovely screened gazebo near water. Only downside is the only full bath is in master bedroom.

Fabulous family lake house

Fabulous, well stocked lake house. Beautiful home with lots of great places to relax. Setting is ideal. The cove offers calm waters for inexperienced kayakers and we saw lots of water birds. Felt very at home here.

Beautiful Lake Home

This rental home looks as if it came right out of a magazine. SO tastefully decorated and one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever encountered. Peaceful setting in a shallow cove where it is easy to board kayaks etc, Scenery is amazing . I felt and others felt totally relaxed here yet only 30 minutes from the bustle ofdowntown Bar Harbor. Would love to visit again!

Beautiful views, beautiful home, and lots of room

Everything about this place is stunning! There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. The view of the lake is very serene and calm. We took advantage of the kayaks and canoe as well. The owners are very responsive when you have questions as well. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Peaceful beech pond

Peaceful and restful house on the pond. We enjoyed swimming everyday.. the only drawback on this home is one full bathroom, through the master bedroom,and half bath in the hallway on the firts floor.

Hello Isabelle, we are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with our home. We work so hard to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience while visiting the lake and staying in our home and we take our reviews and guests concerns very seriously. So, a few things I would like to mention to address your concerns: All of the TV's in the home have access to YouTube TV, Netflix, and Disney except for one tv (which is located in the queen bedroom on the second floor) which doesn't have access to only Disney , in which we have a note on that tv stating so. Typically when the TV's are turned on they will automatically connect to the streaming apps, but in the event that they need to be logged in there are very detailed directions on how to connect in our 'Guest Welcome Book' that you will find as soon as you walk into the kitchen on the counter. Both of the owners personal phone numbers are also listed in this book as well as on the VRBO app. We encourage all of our guests to call us with any issues you may have big or small so that we can help resolve any unforeseen issues right away. We provide our turnover crew with all of the cleaning products that are used in the home between guests and we only use organic non scented products throughout the home, so I am not sure why the home seemed to smell of perfumes... but we will be sure to be more conscious of this going forward. We do certainly agree that having one more shower in the home would be handy but we are very clear in our listing that-although 3 bathrooms in total- there is only one shower. It would be quite an undertaking to add another shower to the home, and our guests are usually quite understanding and can make the one shower work. We hope that in the future we will be able to add another when time & costs allow. We hope that despite the TV and perfume situation you were able to enjoy our home and beautiful Beech Hill Pond and that otherwise your stay was exceptional.

Amazing!

Absolutely beautiful property! Stayed with my wife, children and in-laws and we had the most memorable family weekend vacation! Breath taking views day and night, beautiful lake with dock. The owners have truly thought of everything! Life vests for the whole family, kayaks and canoes, fully stocked kitchen, board games, tvs everywhere, nice fire pit with plenty of supplied wood, grill, everything you would ever need! Thank you so much for this beautiful property and for being so welcoming! We will definitely be booking again!

I cannot say enough good things about this property! To start, the view is to die for! The house itself is completely updated, and looks right out of a magazine! The fact that they let you have access to kayaks and a canoe, and life jackets!! The kids enjoyed swimming right off the dock! The house was immaculate! Spotless! Smelled wonderful! This house was the whole deal!

Beautiful clean waterfront comfortable home

House had everything needed, beds were very comfortable Home equipment with cleaning supply and vaccum and brroms which families with kids we appreciated very much. Only small inconvenience was the room with single beds and bunk beds is separately from actual home ( kind of garage across)and kids were afraid to sleep there but nice hangou spot for day tome for the kids, ot had tv and lots of games. They provided wood for fire pit which is lovely. Overall 5 out of 5.

Unbelievable property

Wow! This place is just perfect! Beautiful home and view. I love to cook for the family and the kitchen was great for it. Great set up for watching the kids play safely at the beach while the adults were hanging out in the living room or on the patio. The beach is great for kids who love to swim, but need to be in a safe shallow water. It stays adult waist level out for about 100 feet and did not get above our heads even out to about 200 feet. The bottom is mostly soft and sandy and not icky or sulfurous. I honestly wouldn’t change one thing about this place. Except for maybe it would be good if there was an additional shower outside of the master bath. We made so many precious memories with our family here. I appreciate the host sharing this lovely home with US.
