This Rustic Split Level Vacation Home (built in 1979) gives you the true New England experience, with Mystic Seaport Museum just steps away! The Mystic Aquarium is also a very short 5 minute drive away, located in Olde Mistic Village. The home is a split level design w/ garage. Our fully furnished 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom house even allows 10 relatives to live comfortably and lavishly! SLEEPS 10 ADULTS IN BEDS AND 2 CHILDREN IN BUNK BEDS! Maximum 10 occupancy!

Monthly/Weekly/Daily Renters, Essential Workers, Families/Vacationers, Connecticut College, Mitchell College, Coast Guard Academy, Electric Boat, Dominion Energy, Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Casinos. Family, friend, work, team, bachelor, bachelorette, golf, etc. gatherings are all welcomed.

Guests have access to the entire vacation home. It is only a 5 minute drive into downtown Mystic. We are only steps away from Mystic Seaport Museum and Mystic Aquarium: open all seasons. No need for parking; you are a light stroll or bike ride from Mystic Seaport Museum and a short drive to the Mystic Aquarium and Olde Mistic Village. Ocean Beach Park is less than a 15 minute drive, open Memorial Day to Labor Day! It is not waterfront as it is listed or as seen in puctures.Lower/basement level had terrible musty smell and was very humid. Had to leave the door and windows open for. 2 days nefore it improvedAC units in the rooms are very noisy. Mattressess are very soft and cheap quality, very uncomfortable to sleep on. I could not sleep on them. Slept on the couch in living room for all the duration of our stay for 4 weeksOnly positive point for the propery is close proximity to attractions and mystic downtownIwould not stay here again and would not recommend it.It is not at all worth the money. Overall bad experience

Thank you for chosing to stay with us at our Mystic home. Although, your review is quite troubling. Certainly, our home is not listed as a waterfront property, nor do our pictures remotely display the home as a waterfront property. I am not sure where this disconnect is. Our pictures and home description are also a very clear and accurate depiction of the home, plus its specific location. Everything we provide at the home is noted EXACTLY on our listing page, including: location, amenities, AC/dehumidifyer unit styles operating instructions, bedroom and bed styles (certainly not poor quality). We specifically have designed an extremely detailed listing page/description of everything and anything possibly pertaining to the rental. This ensures full transparency to guests, and avoids any confusion. We would have been happy to assist with the operation of AC/dehumidifyer units, yet we never were informed of any concerns during your 4 week stay until this review. Yet, you did convienently omit in your review that your dog chewed up multiple pieces of wood furniture and bed frames. You also disregarded that your group of 5 had left the home a complete mess in absolute disarray, AND broke one of our bed frames which now all need repair/replacement. We will take your personal recommendations into consideration and make corrections where necessary. Yet, perhaps a home with whisper quiet central air and sleep number comfort mattresses would be better suited for you. Destroy somone elses property during your next trip. Safe travels.

Clean and a very spacious living room, dining room, kitchen. Back deck looked nice. Bedrooms on first floor were okay but the one bedroom is very small and difficult to walk around the bed. Downstairs bedroom area is fine for kids or young adults. Not sure older adults would enjoy the area. The toilet in that area is very noisy to flush and likely would wake up older adults. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans etc. Very disorganized, and appears just thrown in the cabinets. Lots of utensils and kitchen tools which is nice. Lots of big plates and cereal bowls, glasses, mugs. Need small plates (dessert plates) as none are there. The window units do an okay job, especially the open living area. That was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, window A/C units are noisy by nature so you just try to get use to it. Not a big deal but more gravel in driveway would be nice as it rained hard one day and 2/3 of driveway area was totally mud. That was a mess for our sneakers! But we survived! Nice washer and dryer. And supplies!Really close to everything in Mystic! A real plus! And the Coast Guard Academy which was why we came. I would rent again if we need a weekend stay.

Nice option for a large group in Mystic

The rental was a great fit for our family. Rental was clean and ac units kept it nice and cool. We particularly enjoyed the back deck for relaxing in the evening.

A friends reunion

We had a great time at this house. Beds comfortable. It was too breezy to be on the deck but we enjoyed the dinning room and living room. It was a great location. We will certainly try to come back.

The property was clean. The air conditioners were loud and didn’t cool the house off on really hot days. The house needs an air conditioning system, not 5 air conditioners. The downstairs floor was always wet, even though we emptied the dehumidifiers all the time. They told you the kitchen wasn’t stocked, but honestly it’s a drawback when renting a house.We also mentioned that we had seen carpenter ants in the house, but they said there wasn’t an ant problem. So we sprayed all the time.Overall, I wouldn’t stay there again.

Home away from Home

The property management team was very accommodating. We had a wonderful time celebrating my cousin Melissa's 30th birthday at this beautiful home! The kitchen was fully stocked to cook our feast. There was plenty of space to eat inside and outside on the furnished deck. We took a short walk down to Twisters Ice Cream Shop to finish the birthday celebrations with some sweet treats! Definitely can not wait to come back!

Great stay at a great location

We really enjoyed our stay here with 2 families (4 adults and 6 kids). The downstairs area was great for the kids. The house was clean and nice, and location near the seaport (and ice cream shop) was great. Only negative point was that some of the beds were not extremely comfortable, but in general I would say we had a wonderful rental experience, and I would definitely consider this rental again.

Great location for this property!

Check-in was easy and communication was very good with this property. The location made it easy access to everything we wanted to do in the Mystic area. I would suggest comforter on beds downstairs and work in the bathroom on casing around shower in basement. Tables with night lights would be very helpful also. Stay was as described.

Perfect Mystic Getaway

You cannot beat the location of this house! Our long weekend was amazing here. Everything was within a 5 minute drive: aquarium, Mystic village, downtown Mystic, beaches, ice cream shops... the list goes on. The house perfectly accommodated our two families, and the backyard was a nice bonus for the dog. The house itself was very clean, and there were lots of extra sheets, towels, pillows, etc. I would book this house again.

Lovely spring getaway

Our family of 6 spent 2 nights at this property in mid-April, and it was just what we needed. The house was clean and comfortable, with more than enough room for all of us. We spent evenings watching beautiful sunsets over the water which was just at the end of the block. The house was a short walk into downtown Mystic with easy access to restaurants and ice cream! Also quick drive to the aquarium. Overall great getaway for our family!

Great location. Well maintained home. Kitchen could have been better stocked (large bowls/platter for entertaining, blender). Need comforters for downstairs beds. Screen door on slider would have been nice. Would have used deck more if cushions on couches were clean.

We are pleased to hear your group enjoyed their stay with us in Mystic. Our listing page clearly describes all of the items included at our home and in the kitchen. We do specifically notate that any "special request items" that are not included on our listing page, such as large bowls/platter for entertaining and blender, guests are welcome to bring their own. EACH of our 5 queen beds are equipped with a comforter/thermal blanket. We always encourage our guests to reach out to us with any questions or clarifications they may have. Utopia Mgmt would have been able to help locating these additional items in the upstairs linen closet. We are always a quick message away and will gladly assist promptly. Our response time is normally within minutes and a tech sent to the property within 30 min - 1 hr, if any additional items are requested or for simple repairs to be made. Outdoor furniture cushion upholstery does become weathered due to the outdoor elements. This does not make them unclean. We don't provide a screen door because they become easily damaged and AC/heat escapes the home when sliding glass porch doors are left open on hot summer days or on cold October nights. It was a pleasure hosting your group; looking forward to hosting you all again at our Mini Palace @ Mystic Seaport & Aquarium home. Cheers!

Functional

House is very clean with the right amount of cups, plates, utensils, etc. we had no issues with the house. Very close walk to the seaport and a couple restaurants and about 15-20 mins to downtown Mystic.

The house was clean and spacious. Perfect getaway for a group of friends or family.

Myself and 9 of my friends were looking for a location to spend the 4th of July. This getaway in mystic was great! Although the weather wasn’t the best we were able to visit a local vineyard and also have dinner right in town which was 3 mins away. There is a little food and ice cream spot right down the street from the home. Spacious backyard and great living room space to hang out with friends or family. The rooms were all very clean and same for the bathrooms. If I ever need to come to mystic again I will be staying here!

Lovely weekend in Mystic

Great place for our two families to share, each with kids. Had snow shovel and salt available for a snowy weekend. Single car garage access was helpful. Close to areas we wanted to visit. Would return again.

Split level home w/ garage: 2 steps up front entrance. Then 5 steps upstairs or 5 steps downstairs. 10 steps up porch entrance. Flat entry through garage door into bottom floor bedroom 4
Ring Floodlight w/ Camera: mounted above garage, directed at driveway parking.

Outdoor deck furniture w/ seating available only (2nd week May - until Nov 6th). Other months stored away for winter season.

AC units removed from home each fall season (by 2nd week of October) stored away, then re-installed in spring (by Memorial Day Weekend, late May)
