Køkken og opholdsstue har hvælvede lofter og er omgivet af Windows - hvilket giver den ovenpå opholdsstue i dette hjem, en New York Loft følelse. 1200 meter til Ocean. Gå på tværs af gaden og rundt om hjørnet - til den verdensberømte Breakfast Club. Gå 1 blok til shopping, spisning, strand. Gå til bibliotek og IGA og Deli! Dette hjem har 2 centrale aircondition og to vinduer aircondition off værelser ovenpå, der har masser af vinduer.

Dette hjem blev bygget nyt i 2008. Smuk fornemme pool og NY 6-personers boblebad. Alt dette på Quiet Street, 1 gade fra Butler.

Beautiful home with wonderful hospitality

The home is beautiful and spacious with so many wonderful shaded porches. It’s a short walk to the beach and the pool and hot tub were very much appreciated, and not as common on Tybee. Marsha hosts with care and intention and was easy to reach and gave great suggestions for our time on Tybee!

Highly recommended!

This house lives up to the description and pictures. By far one of the nicest of any we stayed in before. Very tidy and well equipped with everything you need for a fun beach trip. The beds were very comfortable. Many great seating areas outside to enjoy your time. Great location with restaurants, stores and and shops close by. Marsha is a great host and very responsive. She really cares about her home and guest. We had a great stay! We will definitely be looking to stay the next time I come to Tybee.

Great House and Location

Marsha was a great host who has a beautiful home. Lots of bedrooms, seating and outside decks. The home was the best well stocked kitchen and pool and beach items we have seen in a VRBO. The home is beautifully coastal decorated, with comfortable beds. Lots of room for privacy for our large adult family. We also had a young toddler and the home is stocked with everything a toddler needs which saved us a lot of extra baggage. Pool as great and location is perfect. Would definitely stay there again.

Great house, location and wonderful host!

Stayed here for a girls’ weekend. The house was perfect for us. Clean, had all the amenities you could want, nice pool and large hot tub. It was only a block from the shops and restaurants and a few blocks from the beach. Loved all the porches too. And I can’t say enough about the hostess! She was super attentive and accommodating. Wish I could give her more than 5 stars. Look forward to going back.

Great location

Very walkable to the beach, shops, restaurants, and bars. The pool was a great size for our 3 rowdy kids. We have rented lots of vacation homes over the last 20 years and this house was the best equipped I have seen. Everything you need for the beach (chairs, wagons, toys, umbrellas), pool (floats, big towels), and the kitchen! Highly recommend.

Great Experience!

Marsha was a phenomenal host. She communicated regularly and thoroughly and was always quick to respond when needed. Marsha’s home was very nice and provided our large family group with the space we needed. The house is easily walkable to the beach and many locations on Butler and Tybrisa. The pool and hot tub were added bonuses and made for some great early mornings and evenings. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience!

Tybee Joy has really been a joy to stay at. We had 19 of us in our group that came down from Wisconsin to visit family and enjoy the beautiful island. The pool was awesome but tiny. It kept us cool on those hot days. I think the best thing about the place was the location. You could walk almost to everything that there was to do and see on the island. We all didn't have to get in our cars everyday and our big group could go do their own thing. Awesome! Marsha too came to the rescue when the central air had a water leak. She and the handyman came ASAP and fixed the problem. We had a wonderful vacation . Thank you Marsha .

Location! Location! Location!

This is the most gorgeous home I have ever stayed in! We were literally steps away from all the bars and restaurants on the main strip which we loved! The beach is RIGHT THERE! This house is the perfect location if you truly want to experience Tybee Island. Pros: I loved the master shower with the skylight above. The serene balconies overlooking Tybee. The hot tub is so relaxing! The mini bar area was fun to use to make drinks in. The sheets were such great quality and comfort. We enjoyed the Barbaque and appreciated that the house was fully stocked with every day essentials. I had my toy poodle with us and the house is very pet friendly! Cons: NONE! I highly recommend staying here, you really can tell that the owner takes great pride in taking care of her home. I hope we get a chance to stay again!! Thanks again!

Clean, comfortable house with lots of nice touches

I stayed there with a large group of 20 (10 adults and 10 children) at the end of June 2018. When we arrived we were given a tour by the owner, who had also left helpful notes around the house. She was very kind and accommodating. We filled every last space in that house with people, and had to shuffle people among bedrooms more than once, but ultimately everything worked. We found the house and kitchen pretty well-stocked, the garage was full of beach toys, and we really liked the pool (we never got around to using the jacuzzi). The house is close enough to the beach so that you can go in the morning, return home for lunch, and resume lazing around in the sand in the afternoon. The beds were soft and comfortable, there were plenty of towels, the washer and drier worked well (with so many beach-goers, we had them running a few times every day). We ran into a tiny snag when the grill started flaring up, but the homeowner came over and fixed it right away. Overall - a fine place, run by responsive and responsible people.

Met All Our Needs

We selected this home for our family beach week because it had an elevator to accommodate our oldest member, and it had the right number of bedrooms/beds and baths for our large family, ages 5-81. It was beautifully decorated, with a large kitchen/living area perfect for preparing meals and playing group games. The kitchen was well-equipped, with a variety of seating for dining. The large bookshelves were filled with an assortment of interesting books for young and old, as well as board games. Several "nooks" and porches provided quiet spots for reading or good conversations. The house was well-supplied with cleaning products, towels and tissues, as well as body washes and lotions. It also provided toys and beach carts for our use. There were few problems, but Marsha Marks, the owner, was amazingly prompt in providing a solution that enabled the fun to continue. The home is located at the south end of the island, near the pier and very close to Pier 16 and Sting Ray's restaurants. It is also close to a public entrance and condos and hotels, making it a little more crowded than houses near the middle of the island. In all, it was a delightful house, very comfortable, with good beds and lovely furnishings. We highly recommend it!

Superb location

The location couldn't be better! Within 5 minutes, we could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, and the local grocery store is a 2 minute drive down the road. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, and for our group of 13 who cooked many meals there, we appreciated that! The pool is hard to see in the listing photos, and smaller than we expected when we saw in person but was serviced during our stay, which was nice. Something to thing to keep in mind is there is no frig or bathroom on the ground level. The closest bathrooms are on the 2nd floor and all within bedrooms- so if you are swimming and need to use bathroom, the closest is a floor up and within one of the bedrooms. To access the kitchen/frig is 2 floors up from pool. We found ourselves keeping water in a cooler at the pool to avoid going drying off and going up and down the stairs for drinks so often. Marsha was by far, the BEST host I have ever worked with in dozens of vacation rentals we've booked with over the years! So responsive and made the whole process so easy- many thanks to Marsha!

Perfect home for a family vacation!

My husband and I host a family vacation every year. This year I chose Tybee Island. I was looking for a home that would accommodate my 3 children, their spouses and my two young grandsons along with my husband and myself. The Tybee Island Joy home was the most perfect home I could have chosen!! The owner of the home, Marsha, was gracious and so very accommodating. She met us at the home when we arrived and walked us through the home showing us where things were and how things worked. Anything that we needed such as baby gates, highchair, pack n play was available! Marsha was only a phone call away to answer any questions we may have had. The home is pretty much in walking distance to anything you want. You are able to walk to both the ocean and the bay! The most delicious sushi awaits within a few steps, and a ice cream and gelato shop just a few doors down from the sushi shop. Back to the home...bedrooms galore (we each had our own bedroom and bath) and the beds were really comfy! Decks galore! Garage has a ping pong table which we had so much playing..or in my case, trying to play! The hot tub was very relaxing! We happened to be in Tybee Island at the time of their annual Pirate Fest so we purchased some pirate items from the local shops and joined in! All in all, this year's vacation is one we will be talking about for a long time! Our 2 year old grandson is already asking "when can we go to our Tybee house?" Thank you Marsha for everything!

Perfect. The kitchen layout and design were superb and every imaginable amenity was included. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family to be separated if needed. The location was perfect. This property and the owner are both 100%. Even though the pool isn't heated our sons and granddaughter were able to swim for brief periods daily. They considered it a cold plunge after the hot tub soak.

I highly recommend the Million Dollar House and would return. First time for us in Tybee and our grown-up children loved that it was so centrally located around the fun areas with lots to do. We appreciated that it was enough steps from the night life that it didn’t bother us. The walk to the beach was not an issue. We rented a golf cart a couple days and found that parking fees were included. You can park next to the public beach access. Having the elevator made move in and move out days seamless. Owner, Marsha, was very tentative when we needed her via cell. The house was very clean and stocked! I have never been to a house rental before where we did not need to pack the essentials and by that I am referring to dish soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, kitchen towels, hand towels, bath towels, sheets, blankets—even tons of nice big beach towels! There were also three beach wagons, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, floaties, etc. You can travel light if you book this house. Even a large amount of toilet paper in each bathroom and paper towels in the kitchen! The hot tub and pool was icing on the cake. We had a grand baby under 2 with us and the provided walk through gate was truly a life saver and gave us piece of mind.

Tom and I met on the West Coast and always wanted a home near the beach, but were unable to pay LA prices. And hated LA traffic. When Tom took a job here in Savannah, we discovered Tybee Island and realized it was just 19 minutes from Downtown Savannah, and we loved the laid back Artsy, non-resort kind of feel. So, we looked for three years for the perfect piece of property - well, the perfect piece in our price range and in the location we wanted. We finally ended up buying a woman's back yard. We had the yard divided into a legal lot. And on that we built the dream: Tybee Island Joy
We are cllose to the shops, yet away from the crowds. Within walking distance to all the eating places, and especially close to The Breakfast Club! This lot, seemed to have it all, Location, Location, Location, plus, it was the only lot we could find that didn't look into someone elses house - our lot looks onto a 60 foot tall live Oak tree. And OK, I confess, it was the only lot for sale on the whole darn street. So we bought it.

The large spacious upstairs. The pool. The double convection ovens. The Master Suite that has three seperate sections and a private deck. The six burner cooktop with the pop up vent. The loft feel with tons of windows and natural light. The THREE large decks - two off each floor. The Air conditioned and insulated sleeping porch, that feels like a treehouse - on the top deck! Location, Location, Location.
