Hale Kai 220 is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo featuring amenities such as an oceanfront lanai, vaulted ceilings, and ceiling fans. This condo does not have A/C. Located on the second floor, this corner unit can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests with a King bed in the master bedroom, a Twin Bunk beds in the second bedroom, and a Queen bed in the third bedroom. Please note this property does not have elevators. The open-concept living area features vaulted ceilings, modern furniture with coastal decorations, and a large flat-screen TV. Ceiling fans are equipped throughout the unit to help stay cool.

On the main floor, you will find the master bedroom, the second bedroom, and the main bathroom. Relax and unwind with a King-size bed in the master bedroom and a large flat-screen TV. The main bathroom features a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom is equipped with Twin-size bunk beds and a flat-screen TV. Located upstairs in the loft is the third bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a Queen-size bed and a walk-in shower.

Dine al fresco while hearing the sound of the beach waves and take in the beautiful sights of Maui. With its corner location, this unit is flooded with natural light and stunning views from virtually every room.

Hale Kai is classic Maui, surrounded by beaches and boasts an ocean front pool, barbeque grills, a communal coin-operated onsite laundry facility, and complimentary off-street parking for one vehicle. Location was great and beach view was amazing. We saw a sea turtle on the beach right outside the unit on our last night there. While there was no air, the unit was comfortable at night with the fans going and windows open. Downside is the unit is right next to the parking lot, and it can get noisy. There was also a lot of rain the week before we were there, resulting in gnats all over. They were everywhere when we got there, and no matter how much we cleaned the counters, they returned every day. They were also all over the floor, and we didn’t see a broom in the unit to sweep them up. After the first couple of days, the complex put up a sign to let all guests know what they were, that the influx was due to the very wet conditions, and they were not dangerous. Recommend leaving cleaning supplies open to guests if they need them, as it would have been nice to sweep up all the gnats each day instead of letting them accumulate.

The lack of proper cooling was a major issue during our stay. The fans and portable AC units provided were in poor condition and covered in dust, and they didn’t do much to help with the heat. Some members of our family struggled significantly, and we were disappointed that the homeowners were not accommodating or responsive when we reached out.Cleanliness was also a concern. The house felt dirty overall, with bugs throughout and especially dirty window sills. The kitchen was not up to standard either—many of the dishes were unclean, and we even found remnants of old food.Overall, this stay did not meet expectations. Between the heat, lack of cleanliness, and limited support from the homeowners, it made for an uncomfortable experience.

When we arrived the pool was closed for a day or so. Response from company was fast and accurate. Good follow up. The upstairs doesn’t have a door so if someone got up earlier than the loft people they were disturbed . The upstairs was hot. We had a great time and loved the place except for a few annoyances . Lots of fans,good amenities nice little beach. View was nice for morning coffee and we watched turtles from the balcony. Had a great time. Great location

Great location

We enjoyed our stay very much. You can hear the ocean and jump into a nearby beach where we have seen colorful fish, turtles and even a manta rey! We had some issues with the door lock; the case was handled very professionally and friendly and the lock was exchanged immediately.

This spectacular oceanfront loft exceeded our expectations. It's location allowed for easy access to everything we needed. The mgmt team was responsive to our requests, and we left with smiles on our faces.

Perfect stay at the perfect place.

Right on the water. Wake up and go to sleep to the waves. Whales and turtles out the window. Felt like a local and close to everything. A perfect place for a family get together. Sad to leave.

Amazing ocean front vacation

We loved our stay at the Hale Kai. The unit is as described and accurately represented in the photos. We loved the location and direct access to the pool and beach. It was also well stocked with beach gear and all the essentials. We had several turtle sightings and even had one come up on the beach. Thanks for a great trip!

A wonderful experience

Our first trip to Maui, many to HI / other islands. We loved the island, the location of this condo and the entire experience. We will be back! The condo was clean, quiet and beds, kitchen, balcony - everything was comfortable. We cooked great meals, slept well and enjoyed the morning view. We loved everything about our stay and the location.

Great little Beach condo

We could watch the kids in the pool, and the little Beach next door was perfect for early morning and late afternoon swims before or after our adventures. The condo did not have A/C and was very loud at night with the water so close to the house, and there are no window fixtures so the sun comes in early. We loved the condo and would come back.

Maui Vaca

First let me say this property is in the absolute perfect location. It feels oceanfront with the best views ever. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been to have a cyclones fan in every room. The condo has everything you could need for a fabulous vacation. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful spot perfect for families.

Overall excellent place. Right on the ocean. We enjoyed doing Yoga in the morning and see the sea turtles come up and tumble in the waves. Close to many near beaches and places. It really was a wonderful get away for us. The fridge was a bit dirty when we arrived. There was also a dead roach in the bathroom upstairs. I guess you get that in tropical areas. I would definitely go here again.

Very comfortable, except the no A/C. Very clean complex - and friendly. Quick response to any calls. Noise level at night was a bit high, but adjusted quickly. Laundry nicely accessible. Crashing waves covered most of it. :)Loved the "local" turtles. Snorkeling on the beach was great. Lots of sweet fish as well. Although we didn't use the grill, it was wonderfully clean. Would have appreciated knowing this condo started on the second floor as photo led us to believe it was a ground floor unit. Plenty of local eateries available too.

Hale Kai 220 is a Breezy Gem!

This on the water, poolside, beach access, turtle watching place is a breezy, sunset every night from the balcony gem. No other unit compares to this updated, corner unit with expanded living space and 3 bedrooms/2 full baths that accommodates 6 adults so well. Plus, beach chairs, towels, umbrella and toys are included. And My Perfect Stays management team was on call as needed.

Great condo, great location!

This condo is right on the ocean and tucked into a great walkable neighborhood (coffee across the street, ABC store, grocery). If you don't like falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean this condo probably isn't for you or at least bring some ear plugs. The condo itself is nicely laid out and well appointed. No AC but there are fans and the ocean breeze.

Loved the area. More residential than commercial, which was perfect for us. The bedrooms were nice! We loved being able to leave all the windows open. The pool is right on the ocean. The little beach there is only accessible at low tide, which was fine for sticking your feet in. There's no a/c, so people need to know that. It was fine for us. The beds were okay. The bed in the loft is a bit hard for my taste. The location was perfect. Our trip to Road to Hana was amazing! We were there for my son's wedding and it was a perfect setting. We enjoyed the aquarium.
