The Owl's Nest is a 1350 sf 3, bedroom, 2 baths, with large garage. Located on a secluded 5+ acre lot on a private road near First Connecticut Lake, public boat ramp and picnic area at the end of the street. Large, comfortable furniture, fully appliance kitchen with plenty of counter space, cathedral ceilings, catwalk, laundry room, auto generator backup system, 1 king, 2 queens and 3 twins, flat screen TV, wireless internet, games, grill, fire pit, pet friendly, etc.. Plenty of parking. Linens and towels provided. Sleeps up to 8 people. See House Rules for special conditions for two nights stays and groups of 5 or more guests.

This is a beautiful log cabin with all of the items you need for a comfortable stay. Close to all of what Pittsburg has to offer but far enough away to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the area.

Clean cabin, awesome host, very easy access, secluded, and everything we needed away from home was provided. Our two small dogs were clearly enjoying themselves as well. I would definitely return. Thank you!

Serene North Country get-away

We found the kitchen very well stocked and a pleasure to cook our Thanksgiving meal in. The great room has very comfortable leather recliners and the dining area was great for hosting our family. I enjoyed my stay!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Owl's Nest. The cabin is truly beautiful and set on a quiet secluded lot in the north woods. We went fly fishing, hiked, saw a bull moose (thrilling!) and took a ride down to Dixville Notch to check out the fall foliage. Our nights were spent star gazing (awesome night skies!) and visiting with family in this cozy cabin. It was a truly memorable get away and we are looking forward to our next visit.

We booked the place to celebrate Mom’s 75th and enjoyed the family weekend of hiking, swimming, great meals and the evening campfire!

The property was exceptionally clean and the features (stove, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, TV’s, bathrooms and all appliances) were modern and updated. The beds and mattresses were very high quality and very comfortable. All of the furniture (kitchen table, sofa’s, chairs and deck furniture) were high quality and modern. The 6-8 chaired field stone surrounded fire pit was spectacular! This property is off the main drag and remote enough that the stars in the sky’s pop. The high end Weber grill was a bonus and grilled our ribeye steaks to perfection. The host (Ray) was overly accommodating, very engaged and communicative throughout our entire stay. This is a 5 star property located in a very convenient part of town, within 10 mins from the Buck Rub Pub restaurant and within 5 mins from the famous Trophy Stretch fly fishing waters.

Family time

Only thought would be to have a duvet or two around for those cool northern new hampshire nights! We had a ball and the breakfast sandwiches at green acres were fabulous!

Modern Amenities and Comfort above the 45th

Amazing. Best part was beds were very comfortable. Cabin is furnished with all modern amenities. Best part is being able to bring our pups. We had an epic weekend and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful cabin

We came up for a wedding and needed a big place for 8 people and this fit the bill perfect. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking so that was great. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. Beds were great very comfortable. The front porch was my favorite. I sat outside every morning by myself for about an hour till everyone else got up. Thank you for letting us stay at your place it was pretty good for us.

Peaceful and pretty

Beautiful property, that is quiet and secluded. No traffic noise, magical stars at night. We rode bikes, hiked, and did some leaf peeping all around the Lakes. Everything about the property works if your looking for some peace and quiet. Super clean, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, pet friendly... just an all around cozy feeling at the Owls Nest.

FABULOUS GETAWAY! SERENITY NOW

Fabulous vacation house. Private, comfy, and close enough to activities! Family of 7 had a blast, everything you need is here. House is beautiful, maintained to perfection. Ray is a great host keeping in wonderful communication in case you need anything. Love the fact they allow dogs, thank you so much for allowing them to part of our vacation ❤

Wife's birthday adventure

We wanted something different and a fun weekend away of our day-to-day hustle. Pittsburg New Hampshire fit every requirement we wanted . We brought our good friend and our mini schnauzer to the Owls Nest . Incredible log cabin,newer appliances, and plenty of room . Thx Ray for a great stay .

This was a beautiful, clean, secluded log home that was pet friendly…just what we were looking for. The weather was cold, rainy, and very windy. On one day of our stay, the power went out for several hours…but the automatic generator quickly came on so we still had heat and all the essentials during the outage. Ray, the owner, contacted us during the outage, inquiring if everything was ok and ensuring that we were comfortable. We enjoyed our relaxing stay in this cozy home and will definitely like to return again.

We couldn’t be happier with our accommodations at Owl’s Nest! The house was equipped with everything we needed and was absolutely lovely! The host was flexible and communicated with us quickly. Checking in was a breeze. We had one night under the stars by the firepit and even found firewood for us to use (left by a past visitor). We were hiking the last miles of the Cohos Trail, and Owl’s Nest was the perfect base so that we could hike all day then come back for hot showers and real food. What a great way to celebrate our completion of the 170-mile Cohos Trail!

Hi, Ray DeZenzo here. My wife (Donita) and family have rented Owl's Nest during the winter seasons for snowmobiling from 2017-2020. We are very happy and appreciative that Ken gave us the opportunity to buy it. Owl's Nest, built in 2008, has a long history of happy and returning guests and we will do our very best to make your stay at the Owl's Nest as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We stay at the Owl's Nest too!!! We occupy the property through the winter season. During this time we look at every aspect of the property for opportunities to improve it for ourselves but more importantly, our spring, summer and fall season guests.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

We believe the Owl's Nest is central to most all of the activities in Pittsburg however its location on GP Blvd provides an element of seclusion that you will look forward to coming back to after you stay here once. No city lights or road noise. There is no better place to relax and just take it all in. If you are looking to do a bit more, the area is very close to First Connecticut Lake for swimming, boating and fishing and you will be surrounded with opportunities for hiking and hunting.
