This quaint retreat is perfect for a family escapade or a thrilling ski trip with your friends as it comes equipped with all the comforts of a home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with incredible stainless steel appliances and all the cooking essentials to whip up anything that comes to mind–you can even try that homemade recipe saved on your phone. The free WiFi will make browsing easier too. The kitchen, living room, and dining room are located on the upper level of this retreat, offering nothing but privacy for the bedrooms on the lower level. Once mealtime is over, gather around the gas fireplace with your group to start planning your next adventures or simply relax by the fire while watching a movie on the flatscreen TV.

This mountain condo is just moments away from Sugar Mountain Resort, where you'll find an outdoor skating rink, snow tubing, mountain bike tours, and a full golf course. Great Condo, Great View, Cool summer temps

Clean, cute,cozy! Fantastic Mountain View’s from both decks! Well stocked for meal making and close to great restaurants in Sugar Mountain and Banner Elk! Close to so much activity, Sugar Golf, Alpine Roller Coaster, fly fishing, river tubing and zip lining!

Condo is decorated very cute and mountain cabin. Felt very cozy. Fully stocked. Master bed super soft. Master bath was not properly cleaned it had hair in the shower and bobby-pins on the floor behind the door.

I am giving 5 stars because we enjoyed our time in this quaint little home in the mountains. It was cozy, well appointed and made for a nice quiet stay for our family. The price was pretty reasonable compared to other rentals in the area and it felt like staying in the home of a friend. My only caveat is that I would not recommend this home as a rental in winter for anyone traveling with elderly family or those with mobility issues. The condo is on the ground floor but you must cross over a wooden bridge that ices over and is very slippery in order to get to the unit. If we had been with my elderly mother, I would have been concerned for her safety navigating the bridge and stairs. In warmer months, I don’t imagine it would be an issue but while we were there, we had to be careful not to fall when crossing it. That being said, great visit, great communication and a great way to spend our Thanksgiving holiday!

Weekend Ski Trip

Perfect place for a weekend trip. Location was amazing and the shuttle service made getting to the mountain effortlessly. Highly recommend this location for any group of friends who want to enjoy the mountain festivities.

Great place, needs better housekeeping

We enjoyed our stay at Skyleaf, it is very nice condo conveniently located with beautiful views. However, the place was not properly cleaned: used bandaid was left on the bathroom floor, used soap left in the shower, dirty rug in a half bath, crumbs on the kitchen floor, dishes left in the dishwasher Snow on the steps leading to the apartment was not shoveled, very slippery and a hazard for sure Plus, we were only provided 4 towels for the party of 5, in a place that sleeps 6, which was very inconvenient.

Property upkeep

Overall the property looks good. Minor up keep needs to be taken care of cleaning crew to let management know like lights not working or ice maker not working properly . But location wise great to visit surroundings things to do. Thanks

Great for families!

Our family of 5 has a hard time finding hotels to accommodate us all in one room without using a pull out bed. This place was the perfect size for everyone to sleep comfortably! Clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed. The kids (9, 7, and 3) had room to play and relax without bothering one another and they even played on the grass out back for a while. Centrally located to many family attractions as well as dining and grocery shopping. Excellent price for the amount of room and comfort. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to our friends and family.

Correction with locating the condo, entrance is a level below parking. Perfect location to explore Grandfather Mountain and the surrounding areas. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds.

Need unit info book.

Unit is located one level down from parking area. Hard to find. Door was found open. No renters book with information. Water heater circuit was shut off and we could not find the panel as it was hidden behind a panel in wall. Manually set unit heat by trial and error. Device that showed temperature could not figure out. Small room closet door was not set and could fall on my daughter ended sleeping on couch in living rook. Handle on Sliding door in living room kept coming loose had to keep manually putting screw in. Otherwise unit was comfortable and well supplied. Once we figure out it was fine except for closet door.

Perfect last minute family ski rental

We had a blast. This cute condo checked all the boxes and more for us. We came to ski and we were no more than five minutes door to parking lot. The sledding hill behind condo was such a hit with my kids! The fireplace was perfect after a day of skiing. We would rent here again anytime.
