Absolutely beautiful and peaceful location! This house is very spacious…nothing is cramped. The water toys for the kids were a home run and sitting at the beach, in comfy chairs, was just what we needed. Thanks! We loved our time here!

It was a beautiful venue. The neighbor is a piece of work. If there was anything lacking I would say a way to filter tap water.

This property was not located in Sandpoint, as listed. It said it was a 12 minute walk to Sandpoint city beach, and an 8 minute walk to the Panida Theater, which is on main street in downtown Sandpoint. It is in Sagle, Idaho.

Perfect rustic place!

Loved our time here. Nothing fancy but beautiful and lots of room for everyone. Great fire pit and lawn area.

Perfect family getaway

Whole family vacation with adult children and their children ranging in age 3-23. The house was large enough for everyone to spread out, lots of outside room to play and not too far off the beaten path while still being within 30 minutes of Silverwood. It was perfect!

Beautiful view and lots of room! Great amenities had everything you need! Huge yard, can play football and jump in the water. Air conditioning would have been nice, but plenty of fans!

Great Family Gathering Spot

We had a blast! The house was so big and spacious, my grandsons had so much room to play! The kayaks were perfect for a nice late night row! Can’t wait to rent this out again!

Had a wonderful time

Even with the record breaking heat we had an amazing time and hope to come back! The property manager/owner was very attentive and made sure we wouldn't be too hot setting up fans and sprinklers. It was so perfect for our two families we didn't want to leave!

Disc Golf Getaway

A great gathering space for 8 disc golf enthusiasts. We spent the early parts of the days at Farragut SP and Caliber DGC. Evenings on the beach, and big backyard. Everyone had a great time!

Loved this roomy home with huge kitchen, livingroom and master. Enjoyed our days on the sandy beach out in the water on paddle boards and kayaks. Loved playing nerf frisbee through the sprinklers. Relaxed under the stars on the beach on the lounge chairs watching for meteors. It is a great place with lots or indoor and outdoor space.Loved it! Be sure to spend a day in Sandpoint and rent a poontoon boat it was a blast

Great getaway with friends

We were in Sandpoint for a youth soccer tournament and shared the house with a total of 12 people. The house was more than big enough for our 3 families. We were there on a rainy weekend, so the washer and dryer were a necessity. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be back next summer.

Family vacation

Great spacious house on a beautiful property. Well stocked with plenty of towels and dishes for the large groups this home accommodates. Our only complaint was the check out times were confusing. The VrBO app stated 11am check out which is the norm, but in notes in the house it said 10am which was rushed when we were required to wash towels before leaving l. All in all we loved this house.

This home is great for large gatherings of friends and family looking for a relaxing escape. The property was perfect for our large family and all of our children to escape. The large lawn was perfect for frisby and yard games. The amount of chairs and loungers provided for the outdoor space was phenomenal. We utilized the included kayaks, and were impressed to see that even life jackets were provided (although we had brought our own). We were able to launch our jet skis 2 miles down the road and beach them at the accessible and clean beach on the property. The sand was soft and free of debris. Very comfortable for walking barefooted or with sandals. The home provided a large open space. It was easy to prepare large group meals and still be included in the conversations of the living room. We had MORE than enough beds for our family of 14. The additional fridge provided in the kitchen was a must, and so appreciated. I would recommend this property to anyone. I can't tell you the last time we had such a wholesome, relaxing, family get-away. We did not feel the need to the leave the property once, and were easily entertained (even the youngest of guests).

Great time at the lake

We had a great time at the house. The house is big and roomy yet warm and welcoming. Even with no air conditioning, the house stayed cool during the day if you opened the windows at night and closed them in the morning. The kayaks were fun but we didn't see a pedal boat. The beach is nice for the kids, but the shallow water might be too murky for some adults. There is a lot of clay under there. There are a fair amount of weeds as well, so unless you like feeling like you are walking on a wet carpet under the water, you might want to bring water shoes. The 4th of July fireworks were amazing and went on for well over an hour across the lake. We also had eagles and hawks perched on a tree at the property line. They caught a few fish right in front of us over the 5 days. This is a great place for families and reunions. You won't be disappointed and Martina was very kind, responsive and easy to work with.

Hi I am glad you had fun. This warm year is the first rime we had weeds clise in...also due to nobody bringing boats. We are there this week to blow them out. The resort nearby cut theirs and they also float through at times. We will also move sand down..it washes after heavy snowmelt. Thanks for coming and enjoying it. My housekeepers said you were all very nice people.

Great place to stay

The house and property are beautiful. It’s right on the river with a big Sandy beach. Grandkids loved swimming, fishing and kayaking right on the property. Owner provided some kayaks which we used and enjoyed. Great communication with the owner , she was very responsive if we had a question. Lots of wildlife including bald eagles. The house is stocked with supplies. It’s close to town but not too close to neighbors so you have privacy to unwind. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s huge and has plenty of room to spread out and relax. We enjoyed spending time with our family and would stay there again.

Sandpoint Lake Home

Huge Beautiful property with so much room for your family or friends to stay on the water and take in the beautiful rivers and lakes. Well stocked for your needs to accommodate large groups if need be. Martina is quick with her responses and very kind.

Enjoyed our stay after we got there!

We spent most of our time outside at the beach cove or on the deck. The house was very roomy and quiet at night. However I really didn't enjoy how unwelcoming the the contract portion of the reservation was - things being last minute and contract not send when I was told to expect it and then sent to me the week prior to our stay. We did enjoy the property though!

Thanks for the review. I am struggling with the Homeaway control of trying to make each guest a cookie cutter mold with a generic contract and have voiced my concerns, but they are too big to care. My apologies and I appreciate you letting me know. I have had zero issues in 16 yrs until their new booking formats and I am taking steps to improve my methods with it. Have a great rest of Summer.

A must for a girl's get-away!

I have hosted 3 Craft Retreats at this property in the spring and fall since 2010. I absolutely L-O-V-E this house! The largest number of gals I have hosted has been 14. There are enough beds to accommodate all of us comfortably. Our 4 day / 3 night stay is very calm, quite and tranquil. The hot tub is a real draw for the ladies. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators (no automatice ice makers) is a huge bonus. The kitchen even has two coffee makers! There are extra tables and chairs in the garage to use. The parking area was big enough for ALL our vehicles. Not very many steps to get into the house either. This is helpful for the older generation. There isn't another rental house out there like this one. The living room and formal dining room is sooo big we all can fit in to do our craft. That is such a blessing - fellowship is such a huge part of our retreats. Our motto is SCRAP - EAT - SLEEP - REPEAT!

I love the large craft retreats. All of the families that have rented from me have fun and are fantastic. The reason this home doesn't have an ice maker is that at several events at different rental homes that I manage......the ice maker started to leak on the floor and ruined flooring, and instead of calling me, the guests just cleaned it up and I was stuck with flooring water damage bills. ($$$) This was more than one occasion.....if I can find a solution I will, but don't want another damaged floor. The groups are great, thanks for all your repeat business.

Dream Vacation

It was simply mindblowing. Very neat and clean and well maintained place. Martina was really sweet and helpfull. The house had so much space that it is simply beyond words. Beauiful views and simply exceptional. We will definitely be visiting the place once again

Best vacaction we have ever had!!!

We loved this home, it was everything you would want in a vacation rental. The property was amazing with its beautiful waterfront sand beach, hot tub and pool table. The home was clean and confortable. My family has been on many vacations but this one stands above every other vacation we have had. We were able to pay volleyball on the large grass area between the home and the beach and the weather in Sandpoint was outstanding. I highly recommend this home if you are looking to unwind for a week, its the ultimate place to do it. Thank you for the memories!!!!
