Beautiful condo. Loved having the pool just steps away. The back deck was a great place to have our morning coffee. The kitchen had everything you would need. Would definitely stay again.

This place was perfect! Wonderful location, a short and fun walk along the path to the general store, tennis center, and beach. Decorated and equipped nicely, with a huge deck, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, modern bathrooms. Very clean and great communication with owners. A huge family room and plenty of space to move about. We did not use the pool but it was steps from the back deck - would be great for kids! The resort area is very pretty and mid- island so not too far from anything. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Stay in Hilton Head, SC

Our stay at Palmetto Dunes was wonderful. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The owners are very kind and responsive. It is in a convenient location to the pools and beach. We had a wonderful time in Hilton Head. Everything about our stay was perfect! Our place was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with items you would need for a long stay. Our host, Debbie, set up a seamless check in and check out process. She was in contact with us as needed and was willing to help at any time. The location is ideal for walking or biking to pickleball or the beach. The porch was perfect for our morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. We would highly recommend staying at the "Southern Charm Villa"

Short Stay Getaway

The property was perfect in all ways. Location, amenities and description were on point. There were a couple situations while we were there, one of which made the 2nd bathroom shower unuseable, The bed provided good rest and the neighbors were delightful. I would tecommend this property.

Superb Host!! Definite must rent in HH!

Debbie was super accommodating and reached out the day before with our arrival information and parking pass details. We had never been to Hilton head before but Palmetto Dunes is DEFINITELY the place to stay. This condo is located right near the entrance which make it easy to get in and out or walk everywhere. It was super clean, decorated LOVELY and had all the beach amenities we could possibly beee to make us feel at home. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be booking again!

Great Place

We loved staying at this VRBO. Super clean. Stocked with all amenities, the kitchen was the best equipped of any vacation rental I have ever stayed in. There is a pool right behind the unit, just a few steps from the back deck. The unit was very spacious, we had 4 people staying there but you could easily have a few more and not feel cramped at all. We biked to the beach most days. There are a couple bike racks around the unit.

I’m sorry to hear of this. Unfortunately, I do not have any record of receiving a message either by voicemail or through VRBO communications regarding the oven. I followed up with our current guest and the oven is working properly. I have always tried to respond immediately when a guest reaches out with questions.

Summer camp for adults

Pleasantly surprised by this home. Everything was updated. Not a speck of “old” or “mold” to be found. Right by the pool. Host was very attentive to any requests we had. Immediate response. We rented bicycles and used the local bus service. Barely used the car. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

We made dol-friends!

Debbie was communicative and easy to reach. Condo is and feels very spacious. We loved having a washer and dryer in unit. Having two bathrooms was also great. All rooms were good sizes. Master bed was quite comfortable. Guest beds were on the thinner side, so not as comfy. Although many said the island itself doesn’t require a rental car, we found it reasonably priced and advantageous. Having a pool within walking distance was nice, as was the short ride to Coligny Beach. The living room was a cozy place for us to have our coffee in the morning. Too many positives about this rental to write. Definitely stay here!!!

The rugs were really old. The mattresses probably need to be replaced. The grill was very old and dirty. The starter to the grill worked poorly and there was a huge flame that came up when it started. We enjoyed the living space.

Great place to stay for the week or a long weekend!

We have stayed at this property a couple of times. The owners are fabulous to work with, the property is clean, spacious, and close to everything. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance you could ever need, they also have a wagon and cooler to use for the beach, If you take your own bikes there is storage outside the kitchen door which is secure. I highly recommend this as a rental.
