Tucked just off the Stowe Derby Trail, you can cross-country ski out the door and enjoy a vast trail network, or hike over to the Toll House lift for a day on the slopes. Downhill skiers will delight in skiing home. In the summer, these are the best trails for hiking! Nestled at the end of a very quiet residential lane, you can also walk out to catch the Mountain Rd shuttle to the Spruce or Mansfield base area, or visit Stowe village. The two queen bedrooms, each with a bath, flank the great room which offers comfy cozy couches and a full chef’s kitchen. Sit by the gas fireplace, make a puzzle, read a book, or just enjoy the unspoiled views. Out of every window, nature beckons. A one car garage and large mudroom will keep all of your gear for exploration close at hand.

Quiet, picturesque and stunning. The home is just as nice as the pictures indicate, it exceeded all expectations. The owners efforts to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay are evident from the amenities and detailed instructions on the functioning of the house. The great location and access to ski slopes is understated, not to mention proximity to all of Stowe. Regardless of the season, this is the perfect property for any Stowe visit and will always be my 1st choice.

Everything was perfect and well-cared for. I appreciated the wine, chips and salsa. There were plenty of towels, soap, and cleaning products. This was an excellent location minutes from Stowe Resort. We’ll be back!

This is a lovely, well-equipped home that’s perfect for two couples or a family. It’s modern and clean. It is located a short walk from the Toll House lift with very easy access to the mountain for skiing. We would definitely stay again!

The chalet was beautiful . Clean, modern and so welcoming. We were invited into the space with classical music playing which was no warm and relaxing. The host went above and beyond having a bottle of wine along with chips and salsa for us after a long drive in the rain from Cape Cod. We would definitely recommend this chalet. We went for Vermont fall foliage hence cannot speak for the skiing aspect however if you’re booking for ease of access to skiing you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful mini ski break

We had a wonderful time at the Glades. The property is so picturesque and just as photographed. Views are gorgeous, particularly in the snow. It is ideally located close to the slopes. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The host provided us with a travel crib on request. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Looking forward to a return trip.

Amazing stay!

Clean and cozy. The ski on and ski off option was only available on peak days but so fun! It’s a beautiful spot to stay and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Fun Eclipse Stay

Very nice, modern and private ski in chalet. Was there for the total solar eclipse and some skiing in early spring. Made for a great home base for many family memories.

Great spring ski adventure

Mother Nature blessed us with a great storm before our arrival and The Glades did not disappoint. My wife and her friend enjoyed being able to walk out to the X-Country trails and my buddy and I had a short walk to the Toll House Lift. We could have skied the shared trail down to the X-Country center to take the shuttle to the base but we enjoyed skiing the woods at Toll House before heading to the base. The Glades was a beautiful, modern house which was perfect for 2 couples to enjoy a week away. Secluded enough to feel that we were with Nature but close enough to town to enjoy the great dining of Stowe. The house was perfectly kept with all the tools for cooking dinner and enjoying a fun evening of games or movie watching. Thanks for a great week and we look forward to visiting again.

great location and comfortable

The family and I staid for 3 nights for a ski weekend. Great experience all around. You do need a legitimate 4 wheel drive to access it as the road and driveway are only lightly plowed. But our SUV had no issues.

A magical spot

This house is *gorgeous* and the location is wonderful! Close enough to Stowe’s attractions, but tucked away among beautiful trees. We loved our evenings reading in the main room with the fire going.

Amazing location!

We really enjoyed your stay at the Glades. The house is newly built, beautiful and perfectly decorated. You can’t beat the location- under five min drive to Stowe main lifts and a path to take if you want to ski down to Toll Road. The house was well stocked with everything you need- and we appreciated the ease of coming and going through their heated garage. Would love to stay there again!

Beautiful secluded home super close to the base of Stowe

We were extremely impressed with this property. The open living area is super comfortable with a wall of windows that open you up to the woods. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely appointed with modern furnishings and fixtures. While not exactly 'ski out', you can get to the Toll House lift with about 5-10 minutes of skating on your skis. At the end of the day, you can ski-in back to your doorstep via the Stowe Derby Trail.

Beautifully designed home in walking distance to chairlift.

Every detail in the house were well thought out and the furnishings were lovely. Loved that the kitchen has every appliance and tool a cook would need. The temperatures were below 12 degrees when we arrived in the evening. The heating system had not reached the necessary temperatures and it is a bit confusing. One quick call to the manager and the owner was over in minutes to walk us through the different thermostats and the house was soon cozy and comfortable . We definitely will return!

Beauthiful Property!

The Glades was a beauthiful property set in the woods of Vermont. The property was well equiped with anything one might need. Everything was very modern and very sleek. Both bedroom were good size and our only complaint was it would have been nice to have king beds in both rooms as well as a better quality mattress. It was great, however, to have everything brand new. Definitely would recommend this property!

Beautiful house

Great location, wonderful house with lots of luxury touches. Would definitely stay there again. It wasn’t communicated to us in advance but we had to drive out of the way to drop off the keys as part of the check out procedure. This part was a little annoying. Would also suggest providing toiletries that are equal in quality to all the other furnishings.
