The property is great. We love staying at the Sky. It is a smaller property so not crowded at the pools and the beach access is perfect. The property manager was easy to work with and responsive to our needs. Make sure to bring your own shampoo and soap as those are not included amenities.

The view is spectacular! This is probably the cleanest place we have stayed in Rocky Point. The staff at the hotel were amazing. The Condo itself 10 out of 10. We will certainly stay here again.

I was taking my family to the beach for a last minute mini vacation. The Condo resort overall is very nice, however we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that we had to pay a 45 resort fee. This was not mentioned until the very moment we went to get our bracelets...of course I paid. I contacted the Owner Sandra and Abe the property manager and they said they were looking into it and I never heard back. Upon arriving to the room and inspecting the accommodations as I always do where ever I stay, I contacted the property manager Abe in regard to the additional futon that was mentioned in the listing that was advertised as being located in the Master. I explained to Abe all via text and sent shot screens of the listing and mentioned once again that I rented based on the accommodations because we were traveling with a child that we had planned to have her sleep in the futon. He shared his option that was I could leave...I didn't ask for a refund or to leave, my family was already down stairs enjoying the pool and our perishable already in the fridge. Abe was not helpful and I asked to be refunded the 45 resort fee and I sent him the receipt and a discount for the misleading listing. I also reached out to the owner and nothing, its disappointing that this is how they treat clients. Puerto Penasco is always a pleasure and we didn't let the dingy towels , and burnt out blubs be a bother but the poor customer service was surely a let down.

A camping trip and a model home

Bring everything you need to live. I've stayed at Sonoran six times now. This was my first time renting from these people. I have to say the furniture. The cleanliness was great. They really didn't clutter the place with things like extra blankets, towels, coffee filters, enough toilet paper. You had three TVs on the wall that were useless. My daughter stared at her phone whenever she was in the unit. It says there was cable but that was six channels. One of them was a news channel playing news from a year ago. I kid you not. It was so nuts. You don't check in at the front counter like I have every other time. If you walk up to the front counter they send you to a guy in a corner that has nothing to do with the HOA. And that kind of sums up the experience. There was no extra trash bags. There was no shampoo. Every other place I've stayed in that building has been an amazing experience. And I guess I was spoiled because when me and my daughter went down to Mexico all we needed to bring was our clothes. That's been our experience. That was not our experience here. I ended up buying shampoo, blankets etc. I couldn't imagine if you had more than two people. What a nightmare. I reached out to express how we couldn't even hook the TVs to the internet so I could sign into Netflix and the handler said he would bring by a Roku but that never happened. I asked to talk to the owner. He said he would have them call. I never heard back. I left a message. I never heard back. This guy will

The property was just as advertised and we had a good stay. There are a couple things that could be updated like the shower heads, they were clogged from hard water and shot out in different directions. The check in process was a little stressful as you have to contact a 3rd party to let them know you are checking in 24 hours before. I forgot to do it the day before and didn't do it until the day of check in. Took a bit of time to get a response and then they couldn't find my reservation. They did finally find our reservation but it would be less stressful and more proactive for the host or property manager to send the instructions instead of the guest having to request and wait for instructions.

Nice place

This condo was spacious and clean with a beautiful balcony view. The property is lovely with beautiful pools and restaurants. There were two things that would stop me from renting this unit again: the beds were very uncomfortable and simply could use a mattress overlay which is a quick fix. Also, the WiFi was sketchy. We like watching a movie at night but the WiFi was so bad, we never finished one. If nothing can be done about that, I would suggest bringing dvd’s as I did see a dvd player there. Otherwise, it was good and property manager Abe was very responsive and helpful.

It was a wonderful room! We did have an issue with the fridge but we let Abe know about it and he sent someone out and they fixed the issue allowing us to sleep much better the second night!

This unit is in desperate need of a refresh

- I would not rent this unit again.- Extremely noisy fridge needs to be replaced.- Unreliable WiFi Router/Modem needs to be replaced (worst internet connection I've ever experienced).- Cannot stream TV and only 1 or 2 live TV channels.- Screen door out to patio is off its track and unusable.- Limp, threadbare sheets on the master bed (yuck).- Old and ratty collection of plastic cups for glassware. - China and glasses are due for replacement.- Master toilet is old and loose from its flange (i.e. wiggles on its foundation).- Master bath toilet paper holder is broken and unusable.- Master shower control is very loose and seems like it's about break.- Master faucet and drain (right side) has low pressure and is clogged (slow to drain).- Master bathroom outlets (right side) don't work (trips GFCI).- No basics like salt, pepper, or soap for the dishwasher are provided.- Building is OK and in a good location.

My wife and I: Age 71 and 74

The internet was spotty, but it helped on a number of occasions to unplug and then re-plug the router. We would suggest more extra blankets. We were unable to get the heater to turn on to take the chill out in the early morning. However the unit was very spacious and we have re-booked the unit for March 2025. We appreciated that we could watch Fox News and Fox Sports as well as ESPN!

Great vacation getaway

This was the most seamless vacation rental my family has ever used. The check in / out process was simple. The property was very clean and accessible! The owner was gracious enough to send tips for traveling into Mexico and answered all questions timely.

Amazing Stay

Great time with great people

When we first arrived the condo was very nice and clean, everything worked and had a great view of playa Bonita. Sandra and Abe were very helpful with every question and would respond back very quickly. It felt like home away from home. Will be definitely staying here in the future.

Decent condo

We had a great time at this condo. It has all the basics but be sure to bring toilet paper and water. We didn’t get any housekeeping while we were there like we did in other condos but we only stayed 4 days so it wasn’t a big deal. Abe the property manager was great and quickly responded to all my questions.

Beautiful view but bring necessities

Loved this property and location. The views were amazing. There were things that needed fixed and we let them know. It did not affect our stay. I would stay at this property again but bring everything, TP, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap etc. Had all necessary appliances. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Vacation Hillary!

Our stay was wonderful! Even with hurricane Hillary arriving the day after we arrived. Needless to say we stayed in that day and actually enjoyed being in the condo cooked up some fresh shrimp, watched movies and relaxed. Then Monday everything was calm and we continued our peaceful and relaxing vacation. We will be back as this was our 2nd time staying at this condo. Thank you!

Awesome Stay

My stay was awesome and well worth it. I outdoor balcony had a beautiful view and the other side had a beautiful desert view. The pools were all nice and working and we stayed in the pool until we got so tired of being in the pool. The place had a restaurant at the lower level so there was no need to go far. The VRBO property manager was great and gave me all details I needed and the security guard was very attentive and was expecting us. Overall great trip and plan to go again.

Great view of the ocean, very spacious, clean, Abe was very helpful with everything we needed, good communication, we love staying at the Sonoran sky and will definitely continue getting this room in the future.
