We appreciate your feedback Thanh. We did contact you after receiving your review, and are sorry that you misunderstood the room placement protocol. Your rate was for a Mountain view villa, and the confirmation we sent 2 months prior to your stay indicated such. We're glad to hear that you did have a partial ocean view! Thank you for allowing us to explain the procedure--it's always best to check with an agent prior to booking to confirm room view category. We are glad that your overall stay was pleasant, and we look forward to working with you again!

Thank you for the feedback Troy! We're glad Marriott's Ko Olina was a great fit for your family, and that the amenities and proximity to the beach made it a great trip. Marriott assigns specific units at check in, and villas are either designated "ocean" or "mountain" view. We unfortunately have no influence over villa placement. We did mention the ~$20 occupancy tax when we sent your confirmation over on June 1--we are sorry you were unaware of this tax that is charged on all rentals in Hawaii. We appreciate you letting us know, and we will try to do better in the future. Thank you again for the great review--we look forward to working with you on another vacation!

Thank you for the feedback, Tammy. We're sorry about the disconnect on check out time. Since Vrbo has starting using AI to add to and change owner listings (without our knowledge), there have been a few glitches that we don't catch. We'll address it with them right away. Other than that, we're glad to hear that you had another great stay at Marriott's Ko Olina!
