The apartment was spacious and nicely located in the old town. Parking and the steps to the 3rd floor could be a little challenging with luggage, which is to be expected considering it's location.

Great place to stay in Annecy! The beautiful apartment is in a perfect location right in the old town. Communication with the host is perfect and check in was easy. Can definitely recommend!

We loved our time in Annecy! The location of this rental was right in the historic district close to everything and a short walk to the lake. The little cafe at the entry to the rental is so charming. The owners were friendly and attentive! The fans were a huge help during the heat of the summer months.

The location of this apartment made our trip to Annecy unforgettable! The host was very communicative and friendly, and the amenities were just what we needed (especially the fans at night during the heatwave!). We would definitely stay here again!

The stairs to the third floor are quite steep they eventually hurt my knees. Not good for anyone over 60. The floor plan is very awkward because kitchen is minimal and eating is at far end of living room. If it’s cold outside heating units are off and Dominque will gladly come in to discuss. Heating units should be plugged in and guests should determine their heating needs independently. Otherwise location is very good and living room is pretty and comfortable. Bedroom should accommodate two small nightstands not just one. Bed was comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Regarding the heating, your stay took place in mid-October, when temperatures were still mild. Heating is normally switched on in November. The apartment is very well insulated. I personally contacted you and offered to switch on the heating if needed, but you assured me this was unnecessary. Regarding the stairs, the apartment is on the third floor of a historic building, as clearly stated in the listing. The steps are actually lower than in many other old buildings in Annecy. I regularly welcome senior guests without complaints. While I understand they may have been uncomfortable for you, it is not fair to suggest that the stairs are unsuitable for everyone over 60. Finally, the apartment offers 50 m² of living space, with a modern, functional and well-equipped kitchen. The dining area is just a short distance away in the living room, making the layout practical and appropriate for a historic building. I regret that the apartment did not meet your expectations, but I believe it is important to provide future guests with an accurate picture.

The apartment was in a great location. Very close to parking garage and in the middle of the historic section. My only complaint was that it was located on a busy (noisey) street. There was also a music school right across the street with them located on the same level as us. They played from 8:30 in the morning to 8:00 at night. Even with the windows closed the music came through. Not a place I would recommend if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased that you appreciated the central location and the proximity to the parking garage. We are, however, surprised by your comments regarding the noise. This apartment has been welcoming guests for 14 years, and this is the first time we have received a complaint of this nature. The building is a historic property with very thick stone walls, and the apartment is particularly well insulated. The music school across the street is not a constant source of noise. Music lessons take place at certain times, and many of our guests have actually found the occasional sound of music quite pleasant. With the windows closed, the apartment is generally very quiet. The apartment is located in the heart of Annecy’s historic centre, which is one of its main attractions. As in any lively historic town centre, there can occasionally be sounds from the street, particularly during deliveries, street cleaning or other city activities. There are also busier streets nearby, especially around market days. We fully understand that everyone has a different sensitivity to sound, and we respect that. However, we felt it was important to provide this context, as the experience described in this review is quite different from what we have heard from our guests over the past 14 years.

A perfect property, in a perfect location. We travelled by train to Annecy and it was a very easy, less than 10 minute walk to arrive at the accommodation. The apartment makes you feel like you are in the heart of the old town but has all the modern conveniences and is wonderfully decorated. Everything you would want is nearby. Although the apartment doesn’t have air conditioning, this didn’t feel an issue and it was 36 degrees when we stayed. There are fans provided, large windows providing a breeze, and the thick stone walls seemed to keep the temperature reasonable. We would love to stay again.

It was a wonderful place to stay, but there were a lot of stairs. If you are 40 or under I would suggest staying here, but if you are older, the stairs are too difficult.
