A Fisherman’s and birdwatchers Paradise!

Wake up to the breathtaking views of swans gracefully gliding along the shoreline while you drink your coffee on your own private balcony patio.


This is a newly renovated upstairs waterfront apartment.
Spend the days fishing, sunbathing, cycling, hiking, or visiting wineries and breweries just a short away. The millennium trail is just minutes away as well. Bring your snowshoes in the winter and hike the Millennium trail!!
You can sit on your balcony and watch the military planes fly over the lake! It really is beautiful :)

In the summer we offer free use of our 4 Kayaks and a Paddle Boat as well ☺️Please bring your own life jackets :) The Bay Of Quinte is known to be weedy. It is not recommended for swimming but there is a beautiful beach about a 15 min drive away :)

Spectacular views from inside your Getaway.
This space offers sleeping for 4 people, although can hold up to 8 people for an additional cost based on each person added ($100 extra per person).
This location offers your own private entrance, 2 full bedrooms equipped with queen beds. There is an office space as well as a washer and dryer. Additionally there is a pull out couch that can sleep 2, and another pull out that can sleep another 2 people (total of 8 max) .


The apartment offers a Full bath including bathtub, shower, sink and toilet and a second washroom has a toilet and a sink.

Outside, you have a spacious yard, with your own firepit and bbq.
We live in the property but give you your full privacy :)
***There are stairs to get up to you waterfront apartment ****

Smoking is only permitted outside.
Great Fishing!

There are security cameras at each entrance.

Serene Cottage Escape Near North Beach

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy apartment-style cottage in Carrying Place! It was the perfect spot for me, my husband, and our dog, with a friend joining us for one night. The cottage is well-suited for one or two couples, with two comfortable bedrooms and a full kitchen that made it easy to settle in.The peaceful waterfront location was a highlight—perfect for fishing, kayaking, and bird watching. We loved having access to kayaks and a paddle boat right on-site. It was so relaxing just sitting by the water and soaking in the quiet.We were also close to North Beach Provincial Park, where our dog had an absolute blast swimming and playing in the sand.All in all, it was a serene and refreshing getaway. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat close to nature.

We used the kayaks and walked the nearby trail. So many birds to watch. Swans, egrets, turns, geese, etc etc. Great place to stay. They even gave us a gift basket that included a bottle of Sandbanks wine.

Working and fishing on the bay

My wife and I wanted a place on the water that was close to the GTA (less than 2 hours) and offered good wi-fi. Sun Chaser Bay easily checked all the boxes and then some. It was very clean, spacious and very comfortable for the two of us and it could easily handle more guests. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking meals (if inclined) and the grounds are quite large and very private, camp fires on the waters edge each night were as amazing as the sunrise, sunset and even a harvest moon. Due to the excellent weather (hot +25C, sunny, windless) fishing was somewhat challenging but we caught numerous bass. Launching our fishing kayaks from the property was easy. Our host, Kim was a very thoughtful person and truly cared about her guests. She made a brief introductory appearance and left us to our privacy. Highly recommend Sun Chaser Bay.........cheers Harold and Liz

Comfy with a beautiful view

Well equiped clean and spacious private apartment. Beautiful view of the bay. Kim has provided everything you would ever need or want and sent a wonderful detailed overview just prior to arrival. The wine route is short scenic drive away with so many to choose from. We had dinner and brunch in nearby Wellington about 30 minutes away. Super pleasant stay that I would highly recommend.

Charming little get away

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The place was conveniently located just outside of town and 15 minutes from North Beach. Kim was super friendly and accommodating and the apartment was in good shape. The one thing we were disappointed about is that swimming off the dock was not possible due to the shallow water and thick lily pads all around. The kayaks were fun though and the games were great on our rainy day. Overall I would recommend it as a great place to stay in the area.

Très bel endroit!

Très beau séjour et l’endroit est à proximité de tout. Excellent point de vue sur la baie. Les lits sont très confortables et propres. Beaucoup d’espace pour le salon et la cuisine. L’environnement est calme et reposant. Merci Kim pour ton accueil et le cadeau de bienvenue!

Had a good time

Great place to stay and relax. We had a lot of fun with the kayaks and the bird watching was great with the kids, especially the swans! I definitely recommend.

Fall Getaway

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property during our fall getaway to Prince Edward County. The host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable while maintaining privacy. The location was perfect - close to amenities in Trenton and a good distance from the places we sought out to visit in Prince Edward County. The location had a great view inside and from the patio of the lake including its inhabitants, the swans and waterfowl.

Short, lovely weekend getaway!

Although it was a short weekend away from our busy life , the quiet, private, clean and relaxing stay at Kim’s property felt like a whole vacation getaway! You could see how much of an animal lover this family is, they welcome pets and they even got a basket full of treats for everybody! I would definitely recommend this property to our friends!

Great place & amazing host!!!

Every aspect of our stay was incredible. Kim was great…view from apartment was spectacular. Very clean, well stocked. Planes were amazing to see flying over. Family of swans swam in for an early morning visit. Otters, frogs lots of birds. Plan on making this a yearly trip!!!

Heavenly Sunrise

Relaxing well equipped property

Wonderful views from them deck and patio of the water and swans. Kitchen had everything we needed for all meals. Beds comfortable with black out curtains. Location perfect for wine tastings and close to Trenton for shopping and restaurants.

Sibling reunion

Had our second enjoyable Holiday here, the wildlife birdwatching view and kayaks all made it fun. Kim left us treats, and 'Sun Chaser Bay ' is well situated near trails wineries and sights of PEC, so there are lots of activity options. Great place, thank you🙏

Birdwatching and hiking hub!

We enjoyed the setting, view, proximity to walking trails and to Prince Edward County's attractions. We only wished we could have had a few more days to fit in paddling, a bonfire and more beachcombing nearby. We were comfy and had enough room! Thank you to Kim and family for their hospitality

Nous avons adoré le logement. La propriétaire est très accueillante et nous a traité aux petits oignons! Tout était IMPECCABLE. Je n’ai aucune hésitation à recommander cet endroit.
