Maui Banyan #H-405 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 4th floor with a partial ocean view, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 flat-screen TVs, a dvd player, and free Wifi. There is a new (April 2024) California king bed and a queen sofa bed, a shower-tub combo in the master bath, and a walk-in shower in the guest bath. Window unit air condition in both the living room and bedroom. For outdoor activity, Maui Banyan #H-405 is supplied with beach chairs and beach towels. Sleeps 4.
A resort fee of $10 per day is included in the booking charges. Minimum is $30; maximum is $180.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Maui Banyan Resort is situated on 8 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds located in South Maui across the street from the popular Kamaole Beach Park II. This white sandy beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It is a 5-minute drive to the Wailea Resort shops, golf courses, and tennis courts. Maui Banyan features a swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ area, tennis court, and covered parking.

Good property in great location. The property needs a good thorough cleaning. Repairing the lock on the patio door, making that same door roll easily and quietly and cleaning or replacing the carpet in the bedroom would make it an even better place. I would definitely rent this same property again.

Except from a poorly working cheap toaster that should be replanced to the two uncomfortablr unpadded bar stools everything was quite good. i would recommend a few more plaes and glasses

Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at the Maui Banyan before and had a much better unit for the same price. This particular unit was extremely outdated and had little to NO amenities. Be prepared to buy all your toiletries including soap toilet paper, shampoo, etc.

Not a good value for the money

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We paid a higher price for our rental with Maui Banyan due to its close proximity to a beautiful beach. We expected the normal AirBNB type policies of cleaning like we are housekeeping but what was confusing for us is that the place has a cleaning service that preps the rooms for the next visitors so I'm not really sure why this policy is in force. Our unit was very outdated and not very functional for the $400/night fee. Our bathtub diverter was busted and since we arrived on a Sunday they "weren't able" to get a plumber there so one day had busted plumbing in one of the bathrooms. Overall the room wasn't very clean or well kept and the stack washer/dryer was rusted and in dire need of replacement. The owners really need to put some of that money back into this unit or stop renting it out. The gentleman that communicated with us was professional and helpful but fell short as far as taking care of issues in a timely manner OR compensating us for the unit not actually being ready for us. I will not stay with the Maui Banyan or any of the related properties again after this experience, there are far better places to spend our money.

Great unit , bad bed

The bed is old and lumpy. They thrived to correct it with a mattress pad that kept shifting and wouldn't stay in place. Made for poor sleeping conditions. Underneath the mattress is falling apart and needs to be replaced. When you replace the matress lmk and I'd gladly stay there again.

Adequate for us. Great location. Harbor 15 minutes. Access to Costco/Walmart 20 minutes. Access to beach 3 minutes. Nice beach. Good snorkeling. Condo is showing its age. Verging on shabby. Could be much cleaner. Needs update. Nice property. Pool. Great management.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodations were super nice, loved the fridge/couch/comfy bed. Did not get to enjoy the pool or outside areas due to exploring the island, but the walkways were brightly lit and easy to find our room. Parking was a bit of a struggle (garage is tight) until we learned that the top floor was basically all non-reserved compared to the ground/second floor. Overall, I'd recommend a stay here!
