We had a great experience staying here. The home was well taken care of, very clean and tastefully decorated. We especially enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The home is setback from the road and surrounded by trees and felt very private. The hot tub was another nice touch! We would definitely stay here again!

Hi! If you're looking for a clean, relaxing getaway for 2, this property is perfect! It was a simplistic, yet warm and inviting space. Remember to pack things you might like, such as seasonings, extra paper towels or blankets. It is centrally located between Luray and Stanley. Both of these little towns had stores to get things from, if needed. (All within 5-10 miles depending on your needs.) The host was very honest in the listing and the pictures are very accurate to the property. We have nothing but positive things to say! We recommend trying the diners/restaurants in the informational basket left by the host. The menu prices are outdated, but the places and food are not! It was nice to take a break from "chain restaurants " and try some local places. We loved hiking and viewing the National Forest. It wasn't a bad drive to Skyline. We got on at the Thorton Gap Entrance and off at Swift Run Gap. This allowed for us to stop and eat on the way back. Note- there isn't a one day pass, so if you go, know the pass is good for 7 days and the price is the same for 1 as 7!

This was by far the best stay we had since booking with VRBO. We stayed for a weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday and everything was perfect. Ryan is a great host and provides great directions to the cabin and provided information about nearby attractions. This cabin is definitely secluded and off the path. If you plan to disconnect from reality, this is the place because there is no cell service until you enter the main roads not far from the cabin. The beautiful hot tub was truly our favorite highlight, in addition to the overall cleanliness of the entire property. We will be back!

Mostly enjoyed our stay. Cabin is how it’s pictured. The hot tub had a large amount of foam when using jets and the cover doesn’t strap down but it stays hot. We recommend bringing extra towels. We only received 2 towels for 2 of us for 3 nights. The cabin information on the refrigerator said they had extra towels in closets but they were not. Also found a dead cockroach in the laundry room and then found an alive one in our bag after checking out on our way down the highway. We understand that it’s in the woods and bugs get inside. We’re just hoping we didn’t bring anything to our next cabin or home with us.

In response to your review… You messaged me about hottub straps & foam. I answered immediately With no response. As to the other issues i would feel you wouLd Have messaged me about a dead bug and extra towels. I received no message. I personally clean my cabins and check everything before check in time. I take great pride in cleanliness. There were no bugS and adequate towels under the bathroom sink as my instructions state. I do not leave extra hottub towels, but u may use bathroom towels. My cabins are sprayed twice a year for (spiders specifically) because of being in the woods. In 18 years of renting i have never had a bug complaint. I pray u didnt take any bugs home from the places u stayed, i also Pray u didnt bring any in mine. I have already called my exterminator to come check the cabin out although he was just there and nothing, but a few crickets. Have a blessed day.

Weekend Getaway in Luray

I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway for his 40th birthday and the cabin was everything I had hoped for! It was cozy, clean, beautiful, private and the views overlooking the farm and mountains were amazing! Location was perfect not far from the town of Luray. The hot tub was a huge plus and provided for a very relaxing time away!

We had a splendid stay at this cabin. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed! The secluded hot tub was thoroughly used. The mountain views were magnificent and Luray had a lot of interesting things to see and do. 10 out of 10

First Shannon was a great host. Very easy to deal with and good communication. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, super clean, well furnished, everything you need. Everything looked brand new and was in great working order. Cabin was secluded and very quiet only minutes from Luray. We will definitely go back.

Amazing Cabin

The cabin was so clean & so well kept up! We went for a few days for my husbands birthday & i asked the property owner if she could maybe grab a small cake to be there when we checked in && she went above & out did herself, and got multiple thing's, she was so nice! The propety was so nice & i enjoyed the peace & quiet

The unforgettable weekend getaway

The owner Shannon was extremely wonderful and professional since booking the stay. The property was clean, with all the amenities as mentioned in the listing. There were clear instructions from the owner on the check in and check out process. This beautiful cabin was located in a low key discreet area on the family farm, away from the main roads but close enough to shopping and areas of interest. We will definitely be back!
