Girls Trip

Stayed here with my mother and daughter. Really is steps to the beach! The location is convenient enough to walk to the busier areas of the beachfront and groceries- while being in a quieter area. Kitchen was well appointed. Comfortable beds. Having beach towels and toys provided made enjoying the beach easy!

Very well suited to our needs. Everything needed is within walking distance. It was nice to have a list of great places to eat left for us. The host responded quickly to our need of a new coffee maker. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood.

Great location, great stay

The property is closer to the beach than expected. I was worried about parking but it wasn’t a problem during our stay. There was always a spot open. The condo is near restaurants, coffee shops and boardwalk shopping. Owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Spring Break getaway

Perfect location for a week away to relax during spring break. The unit is conveniently located near everything we needed while away. Spacious and very well kept. Would stay again at one of the units on our next trip to San Diego/Mission Beach

Clean, great location

I definitely recommend this place. It was a great location, clean, and very comfy beds. Great instructions and had something needed fixing, they responded and got it fixed very quickly. It was a 3 minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants within walking distance nearby. Great to have a parking spot as well!

Very enjoyable

Property was found as described. Everything was well maintained and clean. Doug responded quickly to questions. It is on the top floor (3 stories) but wasn't difficult for these seniors. Everything we needed was within a short walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great vacation rental

We had a fantastic one-week stay at this vacation rental. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. Location is excellent: easy walk to both the ocean and the bay. Doug was great to deal with and replied very quickly to any questions and requests. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again!

Nice property close to the beach

We really enjoyed our stay here! Nice clean property that was a perfect distance from every where we wanted to be. Easy check in. Parking is tight, so if you have a vehicle that is bigger than a small SUV, you may want to consider staying in another area.

Great beach access property

Perfect location for beach getaway. Walking back and forth from the beach was super easy. The unit was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Lots of beach toys in the closet to entertain the kids. The location was great for day trips downtown or spots to the North.

Great rental!

This rental was perfect for my family of 4. It is within steps to the boardwalk and beach. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance as well. It was clean and there were plenty of toys for my boys to take to the beach to play with. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we go back to Mission Beach.

Great VRBO

We enjoyed our stay at this property a ton! The property is in a great location. My two daughters and I stayed here for four nights and walked almost everywhere. There are some strange people on the boardwalk at night, but I never was afraid. Restaurants, ice cream and beach boardwalk are all within blocks. The place was very clean, up to date, and beds were very comfortable (pillows were too thick though). The dishes, towels, and furniture were new and in great shape. We loved the boogie boards/beach chairs ans beach towels the VRBO offered in the unit. Also loved there was an outdoor shower to keep most of the sand out of the unit. We enjoyed it has air conditioners in each room. Not so much for the temps while we were there but for the white noise at night. The traffic can get a little loud at night. The ONLY draw backs are that you have to climb two sets of stairs to the property, (which we didn’t mind) and a few drywall repairs needed to be done. Also, the washing machine is loud, so don’t use it while sleeping.

Great beach location

This is a perfect spot if you want to sit by the ocean and enjoy the beach life. My kids loved the boogie boards and sand toys! There were beach chairs we could use too! The apartment was really clean, exactly as the photos show. Check-in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend this spot!

Great location

Awesome location, very close the the beach and bay. The rental has everything needed, and included some beach towels and accessories for the beach which was very nice. Rooms have ac units which are much needed for me to sleep well. Kitchen is equipped with everything needed for basic cooking. Host Doug was response and helpful. Very much enjoyed the stay and would both recommend and return here in the future!

Great location for beach!

We loved our stay in San Diego. If you're looking to enjoy the Pacific Beach/Mission Beach area of SD, this is a great location. And to get to LaJolla or the Zoo, only 15-20 minute car ride. We also toured the USS Midway, which we would recommend. Although we didn't plan to spend much time in the house/unit, it was a good size for our family of 5. Very manageable while we were on the go. Plus, the use of beach chairs, towels, etc was very thoughtful. Host also gave good food recommendations for walkable options.

This is luxury top floor fully remodeled 2 bedroom apartment just 167 feet from the boardwalk and the beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. The apartment is on the top floor of a three story building. The floors are hardwood. The appliances, furniture, electronics, linens and artwork are all brand new.
This is a 11 unit, three story apartment building. It features a gated yard for relaxation and sitting in the sun complete with a shared BBQ.
Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf.
We are 167 Feet from San Diego's most iconic beach. Have a hamburger or get a scoop of ice cream. Talk a walk or learn to surf, maybe rent a bike. It’s all right there at your doorstep. Groceries, Restaurants and Microbreweries are all around. Of course, you will have access to our communal BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out.
After lunch, head back home and take a nap on a cozy couch or one of the high end beds.
If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away.
For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look west. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away. Disneyland is a ninety minute drive.

We have been the center of San Diego's beach tourism since the early 1900s. We feature San Diego's longest and widest beach with a boardwalk that runs for miles with a roller coaster at one end and restaurants and shopping at the other. This rental is only 167 steps to the boardwalk and beach.
