Adirondack Home Located Across From Enchanted Forest in the Heart of Old Forge

Enjoy a get away at the Deer Den Lodge. This 3 bedroom house is located in the heart of Old Forge directly across from Enchanted Forest Water Safari and just across the driveway is the pond and public beach. The Deer Den Lodge offers 3 bedrooms. 1 with a queen bed, the 2nd with a full bed and the 3rd with 1 full size bed and 2 twin beds. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa. It has 2 full bathrooms and a washer and dryer. There is a table for 4 in the kitchen and a custom slab table in the living room that seats 6. Also a back deck with grill and side lot with fire pit. All linens are in included! All the furniture, beds, linens and kitchen utensils are brand new in 2021. Brand new Stove, Dishwasher and Refrigerator/Freezer in 2022. Sorry, no 4 legged friends as this is an allergen free property. A short walk to Rivets Marine and you can rent a boat for the day. Book your summer vacation today in one of the best locations in Old Forge. Enchanted Forest on one side of you and the 1st Lake Pond and town public docks on the other side with all of the great local restaurants and bars just a short walk away! Occasionally we will rent at a 4 night minimum. Message me to inquire about a 4 night.

Great stay again!

This is our second time staying here and was amazing again. Perfect location to enjoy the waterpark for families with kids. So easy to get to, owner communication excellent, home has all that you need, once there no need to drive anywhere. Great trip again.

Great Stay!

Awesome stay for the holiday weekend! Walking distant to basically everything in the immediate Old forge Area. Property was great. Very roomy and very clean! Would highly recommend!

Great location for a perfect getaway!

This was more than we could have asked for. The central location of this property makes it easy to walk to anything in town. The town is beautifully kept and had plenty of space for everyone. It was easy to communicate with the owner and check in/check out was very easy. We will definitely look to stay again in the future!

Great location!

Great location if you’re interested in Enchanted Forest or Calypso Cove! Also very close to the beach/playground and a quick walk into town. Pretty spacious cabin that had everything we needed.

Great location

Wonderful home, clean and comfortable with excellent communication with host. The location is excellent for all the places we like to visit. Inlet, Eagle Bay, Big Moose, Eight Lake, Long Lake and of course Old Forge. So many wonderful restaurants. Our Daughter had online classes during our stay and the WiFi was great with no glitches. Great house and location!

Family Time in Old Forge

This was a great property in the center of Old Forge. Perfect for a family who wanted to enjoy the water park, shopping in town, The Donut Shop and a visit to Bald Mountain.

Perfect Old Forge getaway!

You cannot have a more perfect location in Old Forge. Walk everywhere you want in minutes to enjoy all Old Forge has to offer! The property has everything you need to during your stay. Will come back for sure!

Amazing Stay!

Perfect location to go with kids! We could walk to the water safari each day and right next to food and ice cream. Kids loved the cabin. Clean and had everything you need plus more. Our family was 2 adults and 4 kids (9-14). They had a great time. We just need to stay longer next year. Hope to be back every year! Don’t hesitate to book!

I had a great 5 days here with my grandchildren. We enjoyed the water park across the street. The boys loved the arcade and go carts. Easy walk to town to go through the shops and we enjoyed a movie on the rainy day. The highlight was climbing Bald mountain and Mount Arab to the fire towers. Great week here!!!😀

Weekend Retreat

We've been making a long weekend journey to Old Forge for several years now. Our foursome is 62+ years and we're pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. So much was provided and the location allowed us to enjoy frequent walks into town. Definitely a cozy and woodsy atmosphere to the house. Loved the decor. Wonderful stay!

Great stay!

The cabin was as pictured. Plenty of towels, everything was in working order. The instructions for Wi-Fi were missing but Frank quickly responded to my text. Had trouble with door code but Frank answered my call promptly and helped me get into the property. Enough household supplies to get us started were provided. Location ideal for water safari

Great Location!

What a great location to all things in Old Forge! My family and I traveled up from Tennessee, and had a wonderful time. The property was well appointed and spacious. While it was right off the main drag, there was not a lot of traffic or people noise. The owner was is constant communication with us to ensure everything was as it should be. There was one minor issue, but the owner was there the very next day to help and make it right. We will be looking for this property to book next time we travel up to visit with family!

Amazing home and location

We had the best time ever with our 10 days at Frank’s camp/home. It was so clean, comfortable and he was extremely responsive from day 1, and helped us right away when we accidentally locked ourselves out. It’s very centrally located in Old Forge and you can walk to almost everything. I highly recommend this large and cosy home for you and friends or you and your family. Very kid friendly too! And all new appliances and beds. We go to old Forge 4x in the summer and will be back! Book it you won’t regret it! Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Pictures don’t do justice

Our group (adults & kids) had a wonderful time at Franks place. The pictures don’t do justice of how roomy the place was. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for us, but we still enjoyed our time spent together. The kids enjoyed the loft area & the adults hung around the massive table catching up, laughing & playing games. It’s walking distance to everything in town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We recommend this place for anyone that wants to be right across from water safari and walking distance to shops & restaurants. We hope to be back next year!

Fantastic stay

We enjoyed our stay VERY much. Perfect spot to enjoy Enchanted Water Safari-go all day and come back to cottage for a break and then go back!! Has ice cream (food) right outside your front door!! Perfect to walk to downtown Old Forge and the lake. Rent a boat for the day down the road. Spend your time relaxing (house IS turn-key ready) and enjoying family time with games. Enjoy many types of wild life…ducks-deer and even bear sightings as well. Can’t say enough wonderful things about host. They are easy to contact and always respond within 5-10 minutes. Takes care of anything that is needed. If I could say one thing it would be after dark enjoy indoor activities. Early to bed-early rise time. Sometimes there are close bear sightings and it’s on a busy road during the day if you have little ones. No yard. We had a 2yr old and never had an issue because of the large deck but would have to keep a double eye on a non listener toddler.

What a perfect getaway for our summer vacation with the family! The location was spot on and we could not of asked for a better home and host! The house was clean, well equipped and prime spot if you are going to water safari, walking into town or just people watching from the porch. We will definitely be back again!

Excellent location

Great house in the perfect location if you want to be close to Water Safari and the town of Old Forge. We enjoyed the fire pit and sitting under the covered porch. We had 4 adults and 3 children ages 4 and under and the house was the perfect size for us. We appreciated all the kid friendly toys and books! Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance, a great place to stay in Old Forge!
