My family really enjoyed our stay as the place was clean the only downside we had, had nothing to do with our host but the building as the elevator was out of service which just made it difficult getting our luggage upstairs and downstairs.

It was a nice place and resort. There needs improvement in pots and pans selection due to few. Also, cleaning needs revamped to include discarding old soap from a previous attendant, washing out tubs, and cleaning the front furniture. Other than those concerns everything went well and we had a great time!!

Great Long Weekend Beach Getaway

Everything was wonderful! Location, resort amenities, proximity to beach, villa amenities, two restaurants/bars onsite, beach gear, plentiful parking - no complaints from us! We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would return.

The location of this condo is perfect for getting easily to the beach and to all Hilton head has to offer! We had two kids with us that enjoyed the bunk beds and we stayed in the king. The space is renovated- but it was very dirty when we got there. We arrived at 6:30 when check in was 4, and it was so dirty from the last guests. We called the service listed and someone came to clean. It was cleaner but not clean. We made the best of it and just focused on getting outside and enjoy the beach. The beach supplies in the locker were awesome to have and easily accessible when heading to the beach for the day. Personally I thought the pools on property were not clean either- but the beach is amazing! The pickle ball courts were also great! Honest review- great location- great vacation!

Great Stay Near the Beach

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication before trip was excellent. Beautifully remodeled condo. Landscaping was immaculate. Also pleased with onsite and nearby food options.

15-20 minutes? It takes an average of 8-10 minutes to walk from the villa over the private boardwalk to our semi-private beach. We provide a detailed map with each booking so guests can see exactly the location of every resort amenity. No roads to cross. There is also a free shuttle if you don't want to walk so a 3 star review is quite unwarranted.

Hilton Head girls trip

This was perfect for a girl's trip get away. The condo was very nice (the second bedroom would also be great for a family with kids), the board walk made it easy to get to the beach. Plenty to do, places to walk, and great places to eat. The highlight was the sailing trip, lots of dolphins were out showing off!

Pleasant and relaxing

The online pictures and descriptions were accurate. Checking in and out were very simple and the communication was beyond what was expected. I was very pleased with the cleanliness. Absolutely recommend this location!

Nice place

The room was accurate as described in the listing. Clean and affordable. Only one issue during our stay, which had nothing to do with the owner/lister...the elevator broke during our stay so when leaving it was aggravating trying to get all our luggage and beach stuff down the stairs, especially since traveling with 3 kids. Other than that, we really enjoyed the facility.

Our stay

HHR was lovely Would like to have known more about the location on the island and a more accurate description of the walk to the beach. The dishes and cookware were sparce and disorganized The pool was very murky everyday. It was our first visit to HHI Lots to do and places to eat If we were to revisit HHI I now.know more about the island and the beaches

Our kitchen was fully stocked with everything a guest would need. If anything is missing we will most certainly replace it asap. After months of back to back stays I suspect that things are just out of place and we will take care of that right away. If we had known you needed anything we would have taken care of it immediately. We do provide a map of the resort and the location (mid island). The resort has a private boardwalk to the beach located next door to this building and it is about an 8 minute walk to our semi-private beach. No streets to cross. I have asked the resort office about the building one pool and they said the pool company was on site and they had no other complaints about it. Thank you for your comments.

Review

The only thing we were very unhappy with was the bed in the primary bedroom. That mattress needs to be replaced! It's hard as a rock and rolls to the middle!!

Caution

This condo was extremely dirty. We had to clean it from top to bottom. We almost checked out but we didn't think we would be able to just book something else on the spot. We had to get the bed sheets changed because there was black hair in our beds. It was disgusting. We definitely left it better than we found it. I would not stay there again.

This villa was thoroughly cleaned and beds were made with linens delivered directly from the laundry service an hour before these guests arrived. They called saying they saw a hair on a comforterand the owner of the cleaning service went back herself and took off all the clean linens and remade all the beds once again with new ones. She was there until 9:30 p.m. trying to make them happy. Offered to return the next morning and reclean the entire villa. One of the party told her they are OCD and no one can clean to their satisfaction and they would do it themselves. We also offered a full refund if they wanted to leave right then or the next morning. They chose to stay and we never heard from them again. Left the property very messy and dirty after all their cleaning comments. Would definitely not rent to them again.

Quiet and convenient beach stay

Our family stayed here for spring break. The condo was just as pictured. The resort itself looks a little more worn than the photos showed, but it didn't stop my kids from enjoying the pools, small game room and the beach. We used one of the on-site charcoal grills one evening and that was fun. This room doesn't have much of a view, but we mainly just used it to sleep and eat in so we didn't mind. The walk to the beach was not very long, but long enough that you want to make sure you have all your stuff before you head to the beach. There is a courtesy shuttle that drives people on the boardwalk if mobility is an issue. There was plenty of beach chairs and a wagon to use to haul beach things. There was an umbrella, but we didn't use it. It looked a little worn so I'm not sure if it would even expand. There were also sand toys and floats as well as a boogie board and skim board. All in all we had a low-key stay, ate at some good local places, and enjoyed watching the dolphins at the beach. If you're looking for a place that's a good home base but with no frills, this is it!

Hilton Head Island is the best (close) place on Earth

This resort is a long time fave for my family. It is an older resort. Most condos here like this one have been updated. We’ve stayed on property 4 years in a row (all different condos). If you are looking for a view from the rental this is not the unit for you. Also be prepared to walk the boardwalk to the beach. As a family we thoroughly enjoy this time to spot all the wildlife right here under your nose. The unit itself was fine. The master bath is small and the toilet paper roll was annoying (it fits right about armpit level for me), but we don’t ever plan to stay long inside the condo. We did cook dinner in several nights (holiday weekend) and had everything we needed. This unit also provides a locker with beach chairs, cart, umbrella, toys. So you wouldn’t really need to bring anything. It was also right off the path to the beach. Another super plus. Entry to it and condo was very simple. We rented bikes this year for the first time and highly recommend. Also highly recommending doing this ahead of your arrival to save time. Family vacay at its finest. I would rent this unit again. The management staff is stellar. All in all good choice. Now get booked and get to the Island!!

Great spot on beach!

Have stayed at the property before and really enjoy this spot on the island. The boardwalk is long, but not terrible with a wagon to carry all the stuff. The lockers are a great addition to kept the sandy items outside. The condo was nicely decorated and comfortably held the 6 of us. We had a great trip!

Hilton head resort

Great place to stay!! Clean, close to the beach, and nicely updated inside. It was stocked with things we would need to cook and go to the beach. The owner was so sweet and well prepared with many ideas of things to do nearby, food suggestions, and bike rentals.

Very quaint villa!

We loved this villa! The only negative was the master bathroom was super tiny. I am 5’2 and was cramped while sitting on the toilet and had to lean to the right towards the tub because the toilet paper holder was in the way of the toilet. The hall bathroom was much better so we all used that. Other than that, the villa was great!

Great stay

Overall, it was a great experience. The condo was clean and recently updated. The beach equipment available was great! The only complaint I have is that three bedroom windows are overlooking the hallway and the bright light shines in. I have some travel blackout curtains wish I would have grabbed them but otherwise, the condo is as pictured and described. I did hate it didn’t have a balcony, but that was my fault as I did not realize when I booked. But we cooked in the condo and had two small children and overall, it was a great experience. The indoor pool was great as it was chilly the weekend we visited.
