A south-facing terrace, nature as far as the eye can see, and—with a little luck—a few deer when you wake up. 🌲❄️ A cozy retreat for any season!<br><br>A chalet where people come for the Vosges… and love to stay<br><br><br><br>Welcome to Les Griottes, a cozy 170 m² mountain chalet nestled in Xonrupt-Longemer, just 400 m from Lake Longemer and its water sports. <br><br><br><br>Here, nature begins almost right at your doorstep: hiking trails, mountain bike routes, inns, and local shops await you in the area surrounding the chalet. And for a change of pace, Gérardmer and its year-round entertainment are less than a 5-minute drive away, while the ski slopes of Gérardmer, La Bresse, and La Schlucht are just about ten minutes away. <br><br><br><br>🌲 A spacious living area for gathering<br><br><br><br>Spread over three levels, the chalet was designed to comfortably accommodate families and groups of friends. <br><br><br><br>On the first floor, you’ll find a beautiful, bright, and cozy living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room centered around the wood-burning stove. <br><br><br><br>Everything you need for mountain fun is provided: a drip coffee maker and Senseo machine, raclette and fondue sets…. All you’ll have to do is choose between raclette by the fire or dinner on the terrace! <br><br><br><br>☀️ A south-facing terrace, nestled between mountains and forests<br><br><br><br>From the living area, you have direct access to a spacious wooden terrace that runs along two sides of the chalet and enjoys sunshine all day long. <br><br><br><br>To the east, slip into the sheltered hot tub—especially enjoyable after a day of hiking or skiing. <br><br><br><br>Facing due south, it’s time to relax: a charcoal grill, lounge chairs, and a beach umbrella overlooking an unobstructed view of the mountains, meadows, and forests of the Vosges. <br><br><br><br>And keep an eye out in the early morning or late in the day: a few deer sometimes come by to complete the scene... <br><br><br><br>🛏️ 4 bedrooms to accommodate the whole family<br><br><br><br>The chalet offers several sleeping areas spread over two levels:<br><br><br><br>• On the first floor: a first bedroom with a double bed. <br>• Upstairs: a bedroom with a double bed and a crib. <br>• A family bedroom with a double bed and two single bunk beds. <br>• A fourth bedroom with 4 single beds, including 2 bunk beds. <br><br><br><br>A particularly pleasant layout for bringing together several families or a group of friends, while allowing everyone to have their own space. <br><br><br><br>🚿 3 bathrooms throughout the chalet<br><br><br><br>To make life easier when staying with a group:<br><br><br><br>• On the garden level: a shower room with a toilet. <br>• On the first floor: a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, as well as a separate toilet. <br>• Upstairs: a shower room with a toilet. <br><br>
