We enjoyed our week at the Hideaway cabin. It had all you needed to enjoy a week away in the winter - games, fireplace, hot tub, and more!

We enjoyed our time in this cabin! It’s a bit rustic with some modern amenities - a huge selection of games, books and movies so even on rainy days there was lots to do. It’s located in a secluded and quiet neighborhood. We saw many deer and even a fox wandering around! The swimming area is a short walk and DCL State Park is about a 15 minute drive. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Home!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Super close to the swimming docks and access to the lake. Cozy home made even better by the many games/amenities! We will definitely be staying here again!

VERY NICE PLACE, SECLUDED WITH A HOT TUB AND LOTS OF GAMES, MOVIES, VIDEO GAMES AND LOTS MORE. PROPANE TANK ON THE FIRE PIT WAS EMPTY. SO DIDN'T GET TO ENJOY IT. ALSO, THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONER. IF STAYING IN HOT OR MUGGY WEATHER, FANS ARE THE ONLY THING MOVING AIR. OTHER THHAN A FEW SMALL THINGS, IT IS A VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

The inside and outside was not clean!! The outside was the worst!! Couldn't sit on anything, so dirty. Found beer cans in basement. Spider webs everywhere!

Weekend Stay

We enjoyed our mini-vacation at the Hide Away. The accommodations were perfect for our family, and we enjoyed the lakefront area. Our only concern was that the deck area needed to be cleaned, as there were chairs we were unable to use because they were moldy. We alerted management, and they are going to address this.

What a fantastic cabin! The location was just what we wanted - in the woods, away from the bustle of town. It matched all the descriptions - hot tub, gas fire pit, every movie, board game and electronic game you can imagine. The old arcades were the hit for everyone! And the record player was sprinkles on top. The water pressure is extremely low - especially in the bathroom sink, but the shower still managed to wash us off. The gas grill was a great perk - and all the appliances worked just fine for us - and we used them all (but the washer and dryer). There are still more activities to do in the area - so when we go back, we hope The Hidewaway is available! We would recommend this place to ANYONE!

Great time in Deep Creek

My boys loved this property! So did I! The property was awesome and the game room in the basement was great for rainy weather. Would love to come again one day

Deep Creek Vacation

Overall experience of Deep Creek area was amazing. The property was listed fairly accurately. The issue I had was trying to communicate via email with property management was nearly impossible. They were fairly easy to reach over the phone but I wanted email documentation of the issue we were having. We realized on our last morning there that the reason we were having issue with coughing and congestion, that made for a couple rough nights of sleep, was due to organic growth in the bedroom. When I finally managed to bring this to someone’s attention, the response was I’m sorry, we will look into this, guest services will be reaching out to you. Compensation was an email with $100 voucher for my next booking with them. Not very satisfied with that response concerning someone who is highly allergic could have been potentially hospitalized after one night in this property. Not asking for much but I feel they should have done more.
