Aloha Debbie, Thank you for your review. You are correct that the house keepers should have noticed the mentioned items. We are sorry about their oversights. I have brought this to their attention. I wish you would have told me during your stay and we could have made corrections accordingly. We take pride in keeping our condo as a home away from home with superior comfort and cleaning standards. We keep extra items in our condo storage area for these types of situations. Mahalo for your 4 ⭐️ review! It sounds like your family had a wonderful time together in Maui. The new energy efficient split system a/c has been a great addition to the condo. Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to add one to the downstairs bedroom. The 3hour timer is now only in the bedroom (the livingroom used to have one, also). Due to Maui’s limited energy resources, it has become common to add the timers to the a/c units. It was added to avoid having the a/c running continuously when not in the condo. Sorry for the inconvenience. The downstairs’ mattresses were more recently replaced (bedroom and sofa bed). We are sorry that it was not the right fit for your back condition. Aloha Joe, Thank you for your 5* review of our Maui home and we are happy that you had a wonderful stay. You were wonderful guests. Reviews like yours gives us an opportunity to address some of the issues people may encounter. We totally agree with you about the position and location of our condo. We choose its location specifically due the ocean facing condos having the hot afternoon sun glaring into the condos. We are glad that you appreciated all of the amenities that we provide for our guests, as well as all of the more recent updates upstairs and downstairs (new wood stairs and upstairs, new tile floors throughout the downstairs, new draperies, new sofa and chair cushions, new entertainment center, new washer and dryer, and as always new designer bed quilts and linens and beach chairs are replaced as needed). Thank you for the comments on some of the items in the condo. We had the knife set professionally sharpened (the local knife sharpener expert moved off island), but we will address the situation this month when we are there. (April-we replaced it with a set of new Henckel knives!) As mentioned in the description of our condo, it is suited for 4 guests to 6 guests. We have provided indoor dining for 4 and additional dining/seating for 2 on the lanai (that's all that fit comfortably on the lanai). We have a total of 7 chairs that can be used in the condo. Upon arriving to the condo this past week, we were surprised to see a foreign rickety stool that we did not purchase in the condo! I guess some guest picked it up and left it. (We used to have 2 more stools on the lanai, but it got too crowded and guests complained). The Smart TV in the living room has cable tv channels with several channels playing all sots of music (in leu of a CD player or stereo).We are sorry that you may not have realized that. We do have DVD/CD players in both bedrooms. Alan and I have started traveling with our Echo Dot to play our own music and radio stations!! We had to stop providing boogie boards due to a liability issue. Many of our guests purchase or rent them. We hope that you will come back and be guests in the future. Mahalo, Alan and Laurie

We really appreciate guests like Jeff and his family staying in our condo home. Mahalo for the very nice review. We do love our Maui condo and try to think of 'everything' you might need for a comfortable time in Paradise! In June, two 'Tommy' backpack chairs were added to our 4 sand chairs! We recently added the wall mounted TV's and DVD's to the bedrooms. Unfortunately, we are unable to get Cable TV in the bedrooms, so the addition of the 'Smart' TV's or DVD players give additional viewing options. Regarding the view; we choose our condo because it DID NOT face due West (full ocean view). Thus avoiding the hot, direct afternoon sun beating on the lanai and living room window, like some of the other 4th floor MV condos, which results in a very warm condo in the evenings. The tree in the parking lot has grown quite tall and is obstructing some of our distant ocean view. However, we especially love to see the Spring and Summer sunsets from the lanai as well as the night lights of Ma'alea Bay and the West Maui Mountains. Mahalo and we look forward to you being guests at our condo again!
