Welcome to The Sasse Palm! If you love nature, enjoy boating, kayaking, or just a quiet place near the sea this is the place to be!! Crystal River is the Manatee Capital of the world and is a favorite destination for scalloping, and fishing! Our recently updated 3 bdrm, 2 ba home can accommodate a family vacation or fishing group. We are 1/4 mile from the Plantation boat ramp and a few miles from Fort Island ramp and BEACH! House is fully equipped and awaiting your arrival. We have plenty of boat trailer parking, air hockey, a fire pit, and a grill.

Hidden Gem

Great house- very nice and clean that provided everything that we were looking for during our visit. Next time we're in the area would love to stay here again!

River vacay !

Really enjoyed our stay at hidden gem. The cleanliness, decor, and hospitality of hosts more than met our needs. Even the teenagers were complimentary :-). Property is conveniently located and we would definitely stay there again.

Great Place to Stay

This house was perfect for our family of five! It was very clean, comfortable, and great location for what planned. We did all our activities in Homasassa Springs and it was a quick easy drive from the house. The owners were very nice and made sure all was well with us. I would highly recommend staying at this location!

Summer weekend stay

We rented this nice 3 bedroom house for the weekend while we visited the Crystal River area. Very nice place close to the hotspots in the area. We enjoyed our stay kayaking and saw several manatees and enjoyed the cool springs. Was a great weekend for our family. This was a great place to relax and recuperate.

4th of July Fun

Our family had a wonderful time at The Sasse Palm. We enjoyed fishing, scalloping and the fireworks. House was amazing and filled with tons of extras. Host were friendly and quick to respond about questions. Loved all the suggestions people had about places to visit.

So nice, clean and well stocked with all cooking and dish needs. Very quiet and comfortable house. Wide doorway to one bedroom, bathrooms are great but not wheelchair accessible. Very close to all things in Crystal Springs. Great hosts, loved our stay!

Fabulous

I came from GA with 3 of my best friends. We had a fantastic stay the house was better than we could have imagined. They had anticipated everything we could need. The house was clean, beautiful and well supplied. We swim with the manatees ate seafood every day, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great experience. Also great shopping.

Sasse Palm

This is a lovely quiet home close to downtown Crystal River. The decor is so tasteful and all necessary supplies are provided. The kitchen in particular has all the equipment you could possibly need. Any requests for assistance were promptly and kindly addressed. I highly recommend this property.

Loved this home!

We truly loved this rental. The house was clean, spacious and the beds were comfy. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook with. The host have put a lot into this home to make anyones stay as comfortable as possible. You WILL find lots of extra little things/perks at this rental that you will NOT find at others. The location was quite and yet close to things like the grocery store and activities. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Perfect house and perfect location

The house has a neat outside appearance and is beautifully remodeled on the inside. We enjoyed all the decor and everything was provided to make our stay very comfortable. It was nice having a washer & dryer too, so we could go home with clean clothes. The garage was perfect for us to keep our kayaks in. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and is very convenient to Three Sisters Springs for manatee viewing and Hunter Springs Park for launching our kayaks and paddling around that area for more manatees. Also it’s an easy drive south to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. From the kayak center there you can rent or launch your own kayaks for a beautiful paddle down the clear turquoise waters of the Weeki Wachee spring run/river.

A Total Dud

We had this place reserved for weeks in advance, and received a notification for upcoming trip prior to the stay, but never got check in instructions. When I contacted the owner about check in... I was told the reservation had been cancelled weeks earlier, and the place was not available due to construction issues of some kind. We were left in a lurch and had to drive a ways to find a hotel room for the night. What a disappointment. The host had no other options and everything he/she recommended was booked or shut down.

Our first ever extended vacation!

My husband and I were hoping for a quiet retreat, enjoying some warm, but not too warm weather, spending a little time with friends and our daughter. The Sasse Palm is so conveniently centered in the quietest neighborhood ever, yet only minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and the main town area of Crystal River. It was perfect and our friends thought so, too. Rachel and Andrew were wonderful to work with, answering questions , fixing a drain, exchanging a chair, explaining the thermostat. They gave us suggestions of restaurants to try and asked if we needed any bathroom and kitchen supplies replaced. Theirs is the best stocked home we have ever rented! We loved the large bowl of fruit and welcome note. There is much to do in Crystal River and surrounding towns and we took advantage by sightseeing almost every day, but it was always a pleasure to come back to the Sasse Palm! The Best Experience!!

My husband and I have stayed in many properties all around US and Europe and this is probably our best experience ever. The hosts are incredible to work with. We had a few questions when we checked in as we are not very savvy when it comes to technology with the internet and such. Within minutes of my inquiry, Mr Wire called us backed and patiently and kindly walked us through it. The home is spectacular-absolutely beautiful, clean open and inviting. You can see it has been recently remodeled with lovely colors and decor. It radiates tender loving care and great energy. It has everything you need. The master bed is very comfortable and everything is well equipped, including snacks so generously provided. The home is in a very quiet and peaceful area surrounded by gorgeous trees that give you a sense of protection. After our long days out exploring this fabulous area, it was a sanctuary to come “home” to. We cannot wait to come back and stay again and again. Thank you so very, very much.

This rental was very clean and the hosts were were very thoughtful.

We hope to return next year. The location was perfect for our family. This property had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils you could possibly need. There were extra blankets which my family of 6 always needs. They provided plenty of towels and wash clothes. The host even provided starter stuff like toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap and trash bags. During our stay we did everything from paddle boarding, Sea World, shopping in Ocala, the Trampoline Park, golf, dinners out, Family scavenger hunt, Thanksgiving dinner out with our extended family and just enjoyed visiting with family. We made a lot great memories!

Perfect

Great location and the parking was perfect since we had two trucks with boat trailers. The owners response time was nothing short of excellent and the home had lots of little extras like creamers for our coffee and misc condiments... you know the things you forget (haha).

Cute house, well done remodel inside

Everything was very clean and thoughtful touches throughout, like having laundry detergent available. Nice welcome basket with some treats. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Family Fun

Our family was visiting the area from Northern Michigan and, not knowing the area, we didn’t really know what to expect. The Sasse Palm was absolutely perfect for our family. The home was very clean and had everything we needed including beach chairs and beach towels. There was a fenced in backyard where the kids were able to play plus an air hockey table inside. There were games, puzzles and activity books as well. We did a lot of meals at the house including outdoor grilling on the patio. All of the basics for cooking were included. The area is family friendly and we were able to take walks throughout the neighborhood. The hosts touched base to make sure we had everything we needed and were readily available throughout our stay to help with anything that came up. They were so helpful both before and after our visit. We will definitely stay again when we’re back in the area. We highly recommend The Sasse Palm!

This was the best house for our girls trip!! The house was beautiful, clean, and perfect location! The owners were absolutely wonderful, left a gift basket, had games, and cleaning supplies!
