Breathtaking sunsets over the lake! You’ll fall in love with the historical value and history of the home as well as the breathtaking view of the lake. The moment you pull in and get out of your car, you will feel the stress leaving your body. There is a happy energy to this property located in a small village, complete with a dairy bar, bowling alley, small market, convenience store and gas station. Right down the street, a marina offers everything you’ll need to enjoy time on the lake with boat and kayak rentals available. The home is in a very safe community. You’ll find pizza and food delivery available, as well as several highly rated local restaurants. Enjoy a romantic dinner complete with cocktails, wine or craft beers while overlooking the tranquil lake. Or take a short drive to several other popular and diverse dining options, restaurants, breweries, and wineries. It is also centrally located between Amish Country and Canton’s Football Hall of Fame. There are also several local wedding barns nearby. Enjoy the private hot tub located on the back patio perfect to star gaze and look out over the lake.. There is a large back deck with a double hammock and a brick patio which is complete with a propane grill, outside dining, and fire pit that includes wood for your use. There is a large back parking lot with easy access into the house. There is every possible amenity provided in this spectacular property. There is also a small venue available, Lady of the Lake Gathering Place, at an additional cost for family gatherings or a weekend micro-wedding package.

Beautiful space. Master bed was too soft and we had to sleep on other beds provided. Fabric softener was so strong we could not sleep there for the full rental and left. Perhaps just a laundry misstep, but otherwise it was a gorgeous location.

The location of the house is why I only gave three stars. It’s on such a busy road and is very noisy at night when trying to sleep. I also thought it was right on the lake, but it’s not.

Cape Cod like little gem

Quaint home with seaside touches giving it a New England feel, with great location next to Atwood Lake. Charming and thoughtful add ins like a bottle of wine and local attractions book, as well as all of the essentials. Nice amenities like hot tub, fire pit, porch, washer/dryer, good AC, hammock. Owner is accomodating. Stellar views of the lake and sunset at night. Pet friendly and plentiful private parking. Had a slight problem (which owner was responsive about which then resolved) with the hot water tank and a slightly green hot tub. The house is on the main road so there is steady road nose and no black out shading in bedrooms, if privacy and noise are an issue.

Beautifully renovated home with the views of lake Atwood. Love the amenities of a hot tub and also a fire pit yet on the edge of town and easy to get anywhere. One of the most well equipped rentals we have ever stayed in. Lovely to just sit out on the front porch in the morning and drink your coffee while looking at the lake. Some traffic does move by but nothing to disturb the ambience of the place. good to know that the bathroom is located on the second floor with the bedrooms

Everything we needed to recharge

We have a busy schedule most weeks, so when we get away on vacation we want to relax and enjoy each other's company. This property was close to everything, but also felt separated enough that we could enjoy our time and recharge. The property and communication were very good and exceeded expectations. We are looking forward to potentially booking this property again in the near future.

Serene Getaway

Cute and calming place to get away. It seemed to have everything we needed. The view was beautiful. I knew it wouldn’t be warm when we were there, but that would have been a plus to sit out on the deck. Bathroom is on second floor if you have trouble with steps.

Wonderful Location for Family Stay

We have family in Dellroy who we wanted to spend time with but not overcrowd their home, so this was the perfect location being less than 10 minutes away. The home was a breath of fresh air with beautiful windows, sleek kitchen, and an awesome jacuzzi. Could not have asked for a better home away from home.

Relax and fun on Lake Atwood.

The property was clean and owner left thoughtful notes, It was well-stocked wirh breakfast treats and coffee. We appreciated using the washer and dryer stocked with necessary supplies. The lake views and outdoor area were beautiful. We highly recommend this cottage for relaxing stay and fun on Lake Atwood.

Perfect Lake Getaway

Dawn's cottage is clean and beautiful. You have everything you need for a comfortable lake front stay. The kitchen has new appliances with gorgeous granite countertops. It has all the dishes, pots and pans you need to cook a great meal or bake cookies! The cottage is beautifully decorated is a trendy lake life design. The outdoor seating, hot tob and firepit complete this wonderful cottage. AND, the sunsets over the lake are spectacular! I will definitely be back! Thanks, Dawn!

Short Birthday Trip

My mom and i had a wonderful time at this property for her 64th bday. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit in the evenings. Drinking coffe n eating lunch on the front porch with the amazing view of the lake. We were even so lucky to watch 3 young deer playing in the lake chasing each other jumping around, also spotted eagles, cranes and lots of jumping fish . My teenage children came to visit on her bday n we enjoyed ice cream right up the street that was delicious an very good prices and played a game they found in the chest called smart ass that had us all laughing the entire game. Definitely recommend this place to friends n family or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

46th Anniversary

The house is beautiful and comfortable. It has amazing views of the lake from several windows. The only downside for us was the lack of room darkening shades in the bedroom. I was unable to sleep well because of the millions of lights on the property. The motorcycles and trucks racing at all hours didn't help either. But the house is very comfortable and well stocked. We had a good time otherwise. The owner is very good about communicating. I would stay again, but take a sleep mask.

My name is Dawn Leone. My family and I love to spend time at Atwood Lake. We live on the outskirts of New Philadelphia with our dog Henny, cat Sony and three pygmy goats, Theo, Chica and Tink. We are nature lovers and enjoy boating, kayaking, biking, and hiking the local trails. We all enjoy dining at the Donnie's on the Lake and The Dock Restaurants, followed by delicious ice cream at the local dairy bars and watching the sunset over the lake .

There is a beautiful energy to this property and I knew it was incredibly special the moment I laid eyes on it. It was an old abandoned restaurant that a husband and wife ran together. I purchased it the year that my own mother passed away, as a tribute to her. The views of Atwood Lake made it the perfect property to transform into something others would enjoy as well. The Village of Dellroy is such a safe and welcoming area. The sunsets are just absolutely remarkable to watch from the upper balcony. There is a dairy bar walking distance from this home that is open year round as well as several other highly recommended restaurants in this community.

This beautiful home is centrally located from Dover, New Philadelphia, Sugarcreek, Canton and Carrollton. The upper balcony will quickly become a favorite spot to sit, slow down the pace, enjoy the view and be part of a relaxed, warm and welcoming community.
