It was super clean and a great space. It was nice to walk around the property and meet the chickens. Just when you're arriving to look out for the chicken eggs sign, cause if it weren't for that I would have driven past it.

The carriage house is a perfect little 1 bedroom appartment with an extremely well stocked kitchen, a large tv (it was WC when we visited) and everything was very clean.Sarah and Randy are very welcoming and nice, and Sarge is just wonderful. He is such a sweet dog. Thank you for letting me rent it with my daughter, we had a few wonderful days.

I didn't want to leave! The drive there took me through the Valley Forge Memorial which set the mood and the property felt like an extension. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the carriage house was stunning. Sarah was always available and incredibly responsive.The bedroom was great, the king sized bed was incredibly comfortable, warm comforter, had a charging station next to the bed, lots of cable channels. Living area was also well furnished, had a fully equipped kitchen and as advertised, there were chickens and sheep on the massive property.And bring a treat for Sarge. He will greet you, will inspect your car, won't object to treats and scratches. You won't regret your stay here!

Great location

Wonderful stay!

The place was very nice. The owners are so friendly and Sarge the dog was an added bonus. Beds were very comfortable. Great parking. Beautiful grounds.

A beautiful, well-kept place to stay in Valley Forge

Sarah, the hostess is most gracious, the property is beautiful, and the beautiful part of the region. I recommend it without hesitation, or reservation to anyone who is looking for a nice, beautiful, quiet place to stay that is still close to all the points of interest in Valley Forge.

The cottage is beautiful, check in was easy and smooth, all the facilities you needed were there. We felt right at home and wish we could have stayed longer. Sarah is a great host and was contacted easily. Philadelphia is a short drive away so you have both the History of Valley Forge And Philly on your doorstep,

Great place within driving distance to Philly

Being right at Valley Forge makes for convenient hiking and historical tours. Less than an hour's drive into the city. The carriage house is lovely and spacious.

Great place for a weekend stay

We really enjoyed staying in Sarah’s carriage house. It was just as described and comfortable for two over a weekend. Sarah was very responsive and Sarge was so friendly and sweet. I highly recommend it.

Lovely place close to Valley Forge

The Carriage House is in a nice, quiet location that is close to Valley Forge (which is an amazing National Park). We had everything we needed for our stay and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed seeing sheep and chickens from our windows. Check in and check out was easy.

Stayed at the Carriage House for its proximity to Valley Forge National Historic Site. Definitely the right call as it was minutes away from the park, very convenient to lots of excellent restaurants, and other amenities, yet had a quiet rural feel. Absolutely wonderful! The accommodation was very clean, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. Modern with just enough character for a couple of history, nerds! While we don’t travel with a pet, things were well set up to accommodate on animal. The resident Beagle, Sarge, was a welcome, surprise and very friendly! We were very comfortable and impressed by the facilities and supplies available in the lodging. The host was very helpful and communications were great. It was a wonderful night stay and we will return again when we’re in the area. Definitely recommend to friends and anyone looking for a booking in the area!

This was a perfect property for the 2 of us. Excellent location to Valley Forge. The cottage included everything you needed for our stay, complete with Sarge the super sweet and friendly dog. Charming stay

Charming carriage house! Convenient to Valley Forge National Historic Park and more. Sarah is a gracious and generous host. Our dog was warmly welcomed and liked smelling their chickens. We also enjoyed some comic relief from Sarge, the beagle. Highly recommend!

Cozy and Convenient

This property suited our needs for a quick trip back to Pennsylvania. The carriage house is very clean, well stocked and welcoming. The host, Sarah, is friendly, helpful and accommodated a special request, which was much appreciated. The location is great for access to King or Prussia, the Main Line and Chester county.

So comfortable

We had a wonderful long weekend here. First, the location was perfect for so many things we wanted to do (Valley Forge, Brandywine Museum, Gettysburg). Second, the carriage house is very cozy, especially the wonderful bed and bedroom. We bought a few items so that we could have breakfast but the kitchen was otherwise equipped to accommodate us. Loved Sarge’s visits, the sheep and chickens. We will be back!

A Special Home at Valley Forge

We spent 4 nights at the Carriage House. It is perfect for two people. Very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is well organized and functional. We cooked breakfast each morning. Parking was next to the entrance and I did not need to worry about the car Communications with Sarah were easy. Overall a good value and a great location for visits to Valley Forge National Park, Bucks County and downtown Philly

Lovely quiet escape

What a fabulous stay! Sarah is a gracious host, we couldn't help but to have a wonderful time. The cottage is adorable. Sarah left us a lovely welcome gift to enjoy and has taken care in making the space comfy and relaxing. We immediately felt right at home. It was so nice to wake up and stroll around the gorgeous, well manicured property. My dog had so much fun romping around. With plenty of room for him to chase his ball and play with Sarah's dog, Sargeant, he was exhausted at the end of every day. It really was a fabulous stay and I would recommend this property to everyone.

Hi! I own a 230 year old historic, stone home in the heart of Valley Forge, PA. The property has chickens, peacock and an adorable Beagle. I love people and entertaining. This is a friendly atmosphere with lots of things to do and see.

It's so close to everything and private and quiet! The Carriage house is over 200 years old and used to house the horses for the main house and property.
