The Llano River is a spring-fed stream of the Edwards Plateau and is widely known for its scenic beauty and home to the Guadalupe Bass, the Texas state fish. Sometimes referred to as the "Texas Trout" because of its fondness for faster flowing water and its fighting ability when hooked. (TPWD also stock 2500+ Rainbow trout in the winter months).

The stone here is scientifically proven to be older than the dinosaurs and you can’t help but feel a recharge from what is referred to as the Llano Uplift.
