Our spacious SECLUDED-yet close-to-everything cabin in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains has two large bedrooms with NEW KING beds and SWEEPING mountain views. It's not like the other cabins - it is PRIVATE! Mature woodlands form a stunning backdrop to our private yet ultra convenient and updated cabin.

Start your morning sipping hot coffee on the wrap around porch and come home to stargaze with the setting sun in the hot tub with no one in sight. You won’t find a better place to relax, unwind with your favorite beverage and enjoy what the Smokey Mountains area has to offer.

Our CLEAN private cabin has two separate bedrooms, both with new KING beds, and two full JUST RENOVATED bathrooms. Guest bath has a tub/shower while the primary bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower. Both bathrooms have all brand new fixtures including sinks, bowls, lights, and linens.

The huge kitchen is fully equipped. With large flat screen smart TV's, this cabin is the real deal.

NEW UPDATES include stainless steel kitchen appliances and wood floors in both bedrooms, new queen-size sofa bed and mattress, new LR furniture, new bathrooms, new kitchenware, stocked with everything you need to prepare meals or simply reheat, including a family size crock pot. New work space table and chairs added for remote work and learning.

A short drive- less than five miles-to downtown Pigeon Forge and easily accessible to several Great Smokey Mountain National Park's entrances, Pigeon Forge attractions (4.5 miles), the Island, The Smokey Man Distillery, Gatlinburg (14 miles), Dollywood (9 miles). Everything is convenient to access.

The cabin was clean, nicely appointed, and well-stocked with everything needed to prepare meals! The hosts were extremely responsive, and accommodating. Although the roads in the community were narrow, and steep, we expected that they would be! After all, it is in the mountains of Tennessee! The location was a perfect distance to Pigeon Forge, Townsend, Smoky Mountains National Park, grocery stores, fuel, etc. and, the cherry on top was our visitors-on 3 different evenings we saw bear! One on two nights, and momma wither her two cubs on a third evening. We had a great nearly three stay, seeing wildlife, and the beautiful changing of seasons.

The cabin is very cute and looks like it has just been redone. It was very clean and looked just like the photos on VRBO. It is super cozy and the beds are very comfortable. We had a little issue checking in, but the owners responded to our message immediately, even though it was pretry late and we were then able to get into the cabin. The only thing I would caution you about is that if you plan on staying there in the winter, some of the roads to the cabin and the driveway are very steep.

Beautiful Views, But Major Accessibility and Communication Issues

I’m saddened to leave a negative review for the first time but I feel it’s necessary to provide transparency for future guests.The cabin is “as-listed”,however,several major issues not disclosed in the listing made this stay impossible to complete beyond the first night. Not only was the advertised WiFi not working,but there was no cell service from the cabin and no landline offered.Therefore,we were cut off from any form of communication unless we drove 15 minutes into PF for service.Despite being told the WiFi was fixed,it remained nonfunctional during our brief stay.Not being able to reach emergency services posed a huge safety concern. The road has multiple sharp turns,poor traction and large speed bumps that scraped our car. The cabin is not suited for RW drive vehicles,which was not mentioned in the listing or by the host when provided our vehicle information in advance.It was also not disclosed that the road to the cabin is gated during rain/storm events (confirmed by security on video).The host first responded to messages but the tone became increasingly defensive,culminating in radio silence.Despite our best efforts to resolve things amicably,we were left with no choice but to vacate the cabin and pursue a formal complaint through VRBO.The remaining 7 nights went unused,and the property sat vacant,making it clear the host had no intention of honoring the refund policy she offered through message exchange. We are still communicating with VRBO in this matter.

Great Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were extremely prompt answering all questions we had. We were hoping to see bear as many other guests had seen, but they didn’t show up

Relaxation

It was our first time to this area (pigeon forge) and (Gatlinburg). This trip was very adventurous even tho things seem like 10-15 miles isn’t very far it will take your about an hour through beautiful mountains with boat loads of scenery. This time of the year with all the different colors of foliage was breathtaking. We cannot wait to return. The cabin is very peaceful and very well maintained. The roads getting to cabin are very steep but was easily accomplished with a 4 foot sedan. Thanks Frank and Nancy.

Peaceful cabin in the hills!

This was our first visit to TN and we were really there to enjoy the outdoors. Nancy and Frank’s cabin personified that. Up a steep road and driveway, it sits amongst the trees and is truly a restful place. After a day of exploring we would duck and dodge the masses in Pigeon Forge and retreat to the cabin for cocktails on the enormous patio. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and charcoal grill and had most dinners at the cabin. It’s very clean, the beds are comfortable, and Nancy was very responsive to the couple of questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay.

Seclusion at its Finest

Took my boyfriend down there for the first time and absolutely loved the area. We even had a daily visitor, which made for some adventures! Cabin is simple but for the amount of time we spent there, had what we needed. Hosts were super responsive when communicating with them!

Great cabin in the Smokie Mountains

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for one week to visit the Smokie Mountains. The area is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is very private. Lots of wildlife in the area. Plenty of deer, turkeys and also we saw a bear. If you enjoy seclusion and privacy this cabin is for you. Beds are comfortable. The host was very easy to reach. Plenty of things to do in the area. Would love to visit again in the fall. Will be back again.

Very nice

Overall the cabin was very nice and clean! We had an incident with the pipes so we had no water on the last day but they refunded us for the night and we just got a hotel room. Communication was very easy, however we didnt have great signal while at the cabin. They were very nice and respectful when telling them about our issue. We would definitely recommend this cabin omce the pipes are repaired.

Bear- Up close and personal

The cabin is so precious. There are many extra touches that made us feel at home here. Everything was so clean and was probably the nicest cabin that we have stayed in. The owners are amazing and communicate well with every need. One of the reasons we chose this cabin was because many people have seen bears here. The first night we got here we drove back down the mountain to get something to eat and saw a teenage bear run down the road by our car. That was a fun beginning. That night after we got home, we did not see any more bears. I was ready to go to bed and thought I’d look out off the deck one last time. I went outside and looked over the railing and heard something to my right. 6 to 8 feet from where I was standing was a huge bear. There was a deck rail that separated me from them, but it was too close for comfort! I startled the bear as much as he startled me and he walked under the deck. My husband looked over the railing to see him and he blew at my husband. He was not happy with us , that we interrupted his search for food. He was beautiful and large, probably the largest bear I’ve seen in the wild. I would recommend turning the light on and looking out the window before you go out and make sure to look off the edge of the deck on the right first. It probably will never happen again, but it definitely got my adrenaline going. It truly was a wonderful experience, but I would never intentionally be that close to a bear. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!! Special time

Beautiful cabin

Our short weekend was a blast.. seen 4 bear right off the porch... beds were excellent...if I had anything to complain about (which I don't) it would be the sticking door knobs...loved it will stay again...be careful of the big rocking chair on the porch...it's a little rickety

Perfect cabin in the woods

My son and I had a wonderful time staying in this cabin! It was so clean! The location is up in the mountains with some steep climbs, but it’s really easy to get to and a great location for getting to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and surrounding areas. Nancy is very communicative and was a great host. I would definitely stay here again!

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. This cabin was very clean and updated. It is secluded, in a quiet area... just 2 cabins seen through the woods. Communication with Nancy was timely and very much appreciated. We have nothing bad to say and will stay again, when in the area.

We found the best places were the ones where we felt at home, and that's how we want all of our guests to feel. We are active in our communities, and recently retired from public service. I am a teacher, Frank dabbles at concert promotions and we both work in the hospitality industry.
We are avid cyclists and just started playing pickelball too! We strive to bring serenity into our everyday living, and to our guests, too. We value experiences over objects and collect memories over mementos.
We enjoy flexible schedules and travel frequently between Long Island, NY, the Smokey Mountains, TN, St. Augustine and Amelia Island, FL. A recent favorite adventure we had was a cycling river cruise throughout France. We'd love to host you next!

We chose this cabin because of its location. We are not surrounded by neighbors and other cabins like so many other cabins we've seen in this area. Yet, it is extremely close to all the major attractions. We refurnished everything and made it the kind of place we'd like to stay in with our own families. Which we do!
