Thanks Robert for the review. We look forward to having you back again next time!

Thank you Robert! Glad to hear about how much you enjoyed your stay, especially coming from past Houghton Lake resident. We'd be happy to have you back anytime! Thanks again

Thanks a lot Lisa. My cleaning crew said you left the house spotless and it was the cleanest and nicest anyone has ever left it at check out time! I very much appreciate it as does she. You all are certainly welcome back anytime and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Hope to hear back from you again next time. Thanks again.

Thank you Ashley! I'm glad to hear we exceeded your expectations. We work very hard to make sure every guest says the same thing. We'd be happy to have you back again sometime.

Thank you Erin for the kind words. We too have younger aged children and know how awesome it is to not have to travel with a pack and play or a high chair and things like that. Glad you were able to utilize everything from the yard games to the young children's toys. I'm also happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to having you back again sometime. Thank you!

Thank you Stephanie for the review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and want to welcome you and your family back anytime!

Wow Connie, thank you for the great review. I’m glad to hear how much you enjoyed your stay. We do work hard trying to make sure everything we do to the property is with a renters point of view in mind. It’s good to know it doesn’t go unnoticed. We’d be more than happy to have you and your group back anytime. Hope to see you again in the future. Thank you again!

I'm sorry to hear you felt this way about your stay, especially as a returning guest. However, I feel it’s necessary to address a few key points you left out. First, you never reached out to mention any of the issues during your stay, which could have been quickly resolved had I known. Instead, we only learned about these after you left the property in poor condition, with numerous damages, including a bed frame held together with black duct tape and bricks, a patio chair that had been broken through, a damaged front door latch, and a completely broken shower head. None of these were reported during your stay, which is puzzling given the extent of the damage. Additionally, the entire house smelled strongly of both cigarettes and marijuana, and ashes were found in both sunroom patios—strict violations of our house rules. My cleaning team had to deep clean and air out the home for the next guests. We also had to make emergency repairs, including replacing the bed frame and shower head and hiring a locksmith to fix the front door before the next group checked in. I’m sorry if you felt the property wasn’t as expected this time, but the condition you left it in tells a different story. I also find it concerning that none of these issues were mentioned until after I filed a damage claim. It’s disappointing that you would resort to a negative review as leverage in response to being held accountable for these damages. Our properties are consistently well-maintained, as reflected in hundreds of five-star reviews (with some even mentioning how quickly an issue was resolved and how easily I am to reach). I always encourage future guests to read through the other reviews to get a more accurate sense of what we offer. We are always available to address any issues during a stay, but clear communication is key.
