Kohola Coast on the Big Island is the place I like the most

Excellent location by best beaches on the island! Suggest taking the short hike from Hapuna Beach to Mauna Kea Beach as finding parking at Mauna Kea is unlikely. Great golf courses nearby.

The house was the perfect home base for our family. It’s more luxurious and spacious than the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. So nice to all be on one level. Beds were super comfortable. Neighborhood is very quiet, was so nice to come back to after a long day. Hosts were very organized and pleasant to deal with. Would absolutely book here again!

Great house! We were 3 couples for a 2 week visit and each had an ensuite which gave us all our own space. The house was super clean, host was very communicative and the amenities made the trip enjoyable! we had access to the pool and gym that was a 3 min walk and the passes to the resort were awesome to take the days off from adventuring to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

Mauna Lani Villages

The pictures of the home do not do it justice. It is a beautiful home with plenty of room and space for 5 adults . The location is perfect !!!

Paradise in paradise

I can't say enough about how great this place was. So well stocked with everything you need. Location was excellent, landscaping top notch, house was clean and well kept. The only problem was we didn't have enough time there to enjoy all the amenities!

Celebration in Hawaii

The house and grounds are gorgeous and so much more than we expected. The pictures are accurate, but somehow do not completely convey the beauty of the home, the spaciousness, and the details that made this a perfect home base for our week in Hawaii.

Amazing property!

Our first VRBO rental was in 2006 in the Mauna Lani. This house was the best we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. The house had everything needed for a beach vacation. The location is perfect. The owners pay attention to every detail - we can’t thank them enough for sharing their home! Especially love the outdoor shower and every beach accessory you could ever ask for!

Mauna Lani Paradise

My wife and I, along with two of our married children had the opportunity to spend two heavenly weeks in this incredible property. Everything was just as advertised- the kitchen was first rate, as was the living area. The bedrooms were all “masters”, with king sized beds an e suites. Would highly recommend

Perfect Home in Paradise

We have stayed at other properties on the big island and this tops our list as our favorite. The home is absolutely beautiful and well-appointed with all the amenities. Dual climate air conditioning to suit multiple people's temperature preferences.The check-in and check out process was seamless. The neighborhood was manicured precisely to enhance the Aloha vibes. We would definitely stay in this home again!

Excellent stay

As the title, indicates, excellent. I would guess something temporary happened: we liked to be outside specially around lunch time, but the 3 last days workers seeming to install pipes even on the lawn of the property was a bit disturbing to be outside. Probably out of luck.

Summer stay

Everything was as described. Great location. To get around to all the Kohala beaches. So nice having all the gear to use and bikes too.

Good Fit for our Needs

Lovely home that supplied the needs of our group. The need to have an ADA compliant walk in shower was a major factor for my sister in law and this house provided it very well. 3 Ladies traveling together and each of us had a suite for a bedroom. Loved the open concept and the Lanai was enjoyed daily.

Home away from home... but BETTER!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. It was our first time renting a home and not staying at a resort or hotel. Life changing. It was incredibly relaxing. It was also a wonderful addition to have the gem car, bicycles, and beach accessories available to use. Without a doubt this was a dream vacation we will remember.

Great location!

Beautiful property! We enjoyed the added bonus of the Gem car. We used it for quick trips to the grocery store and the short drive to the beach club.

This property has a great layout for privacy. Super comfortable and wonderful location in proximity to stores/restaurants. Property manager was responsive to any needs and requests we had and followed up with us to assure everything was to our liking.

Great home base for Big Island Adventures

This home is beautiful and very quiet. The neighborhood is the same. We went to different areas of the island each day and wanted to stay on the west side so this was also a good location. Conveniently located near a grocery store and shopping area where we found a wonderful vegetarian restaurant. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection

Our stay at Hale Kanani could not have been better. The house was immaculate, luxurious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and lush. We spent countless hours sitting on the lanai admiring the landscaping. Our property manager was so easy to work with and very accommodating. Our flight out wasn't until 10:00pm and she let us stay late so our small children would have plenty of time to nap and play. The house had everything we needed for our daily beach trips: two coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, toys, and even a golf cart! It was so easy to load up in the morning and head to the beach for a few hours. We will definitely be back - this was the best house!

A comfortable, quiet piece of paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Kanani. Very spacious and comfortable. We love to cook and made good use of the kitchen and BBQ. The Gem was fun to ride in and easy to use to get around. Be sure to take advantage of access to the owners beach - snorkel in the morning and then a relaxing lunch at Napua. We are looking forward to our next stay!
