Make your escape to this cozy beachfront cottage, only steps away from the beach. This lovely home is the perfect place to enjoy a true getaway. The house is nestled at the end of the street where you feel that you have your private beach area.. Enjoy spectacular never-ending ocean views, while listening to the waves from the partially covered deck, sipping your morning coffee, or evening cocktails. You can walk your picnic lunch to the family from the house, making lasting memories on the beach. The home welcomes you with new beautiful furnishings and beachy décor. It offers a king-size bed in the master bedroom, with a private full bath. The second bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds to make room for children or guests. The bottom bunk is a futon full-size bed. The bonus room has a convertible sleeper sofa that makes a full-size bed. The entire space allows for up to nine guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to entertain you and your guests. Clean linens are provided and the home is pet-friendly. The house includes dish/wifi and blu ray DVD. This is your gem of a vacation spot just waiting for you to enjoy. It is the perfect place for a family vacation or an adult weekend getaway. Terramar is a quiet community, only a short drive, (approximately 20 minutes) from the Seawall action. Galveston has so much to offer in regard to day trips as well. The Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, mansion tours, Duck Tours, and The Strand are great ways to enjoy your time as well.
You can't get any closer to the beach than this. If you are ready for your escape to the sea, this is the place for you.

Wonderful experience

This was our second stay at this cottage by the sea. Everything was handled very professionally and the cottage was very well appointed. The location is great on a quiet part of the beach. There were good restaurants close by, but the drive into town was easy. We’ll be happy to stay here anytime we need a coastal getaway. Gary Werntz

The location was amazing! Direct views and private access to the beach! Sunsets were gorgeous. That was key for us. The house was just the right size for my family of 3 and 2 dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed, and convenience stores were nearby. We will definitely be back.

Great place!

This place is ideal for a weekend get-away. Close enough to a few convenience stores if you forgot sunscreen but it feels remote enough that it feels as private as can be hoped for at a beach. Would give it six stars if I could.

Very clean property. Inside and out. Beach view was the best. Our dogs loved it. Great deck to watch the sun come up and go down. We highly recommend!

Check in was very easy…Kitchen had plenty of supplies, nicely laid out.Great location, very private and quiet.Enjoyed the deck space which is where we spend most of our time. Nice clean table and comfortable chairs with cushions.

Prefect location! House was nice and had plenty of room for our family of 4 plus our big puppy! The front door was a little tricky but other than that the house was just what we needed for a nice getaway. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves and our puppy enjoyed his first trip to beach! The house was stocked with with extra things for your pets,(like food/water bowls, blankets, dog bed) which we had brought our own but it was so reassuring knowing they wanted to make sure the pets enjoyed their time there too!

Unbeatable location

The house was situated at the end of the street with unobstructed views of the ocean. It was the perfect place to sit on the deck and watch the sunrise and listen to the sound of the waves. The house was very tidy and clean and had everything we needed. We were all very happy with the house and location!!

Sweet home steps from the beach

This home is a great place for a short getaway! The owner has stocked it so well that all you really need to bring are your clothes. They’ve put so much thought into the little things that make a stay away from home so easy. This was the first time we took our dogs to the beach, and the home was wonderfully stocked for them, too. Including extra bowls, blankets for the furniture and even some treats. My only suggestion would be a larger surface right where the water hose is under the house to make stepping from there to the steps a little easier.

Right on the beach, beautiful patio for enjoying morning coffee and meals, and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week!

Lovely, Relaxing, and Gorgeous Views

The home was warm, clean, and family-friendly. You are steps away from the Gulf and nestled in a quiet neighborhood with immediate access to a private beach. It was everything we needed to unwind and escape. Waking up to the sounds of ocean breezes and waves coupled with tranquility was incredible. Highly recommend. The owner, Ms. Waite, was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Hospitality was 100%. We would happily return.

Delightful experience. Just what we wanted.

Never have I been able to stay in a house RIGHT on the beach. It was quiet and not crowded during the time we stayed. The beach was full of seaweed but did not matter as we really just wanted to watch and hear the waves. The house very clean and fresh and the furniture and beds comfortable and kitchen has everything you need. I would highly recommend this cozy cottage.

Perfect location; just needs minor tweaks

Our family of 5 (parents and 3 young adults) stayed here over a weekend (2 nights). The house is located perfectly on the beach. The kitchen and master bathroom both have been updated beautifully. The furnishings were newer and comfortable. The listing stated 3 bedrooms, however, there are only 2 bedrooms with entrance doors. The "3rd" has a curtain you can close off to the living room. We only had two complaints. The ground floor is just the dirt...no concrete, so we really did not hang out on the ground floor like we would typically do. Our SUV almost got stuck in the sand while we were trying to back it in under the house. The other complaint is the refrigerator door didn't seal closed. We called and left a voicemail and followed up with an email, HOWEVER, we did not receive any communication from the owner. Luckily, we were only there for 1 night as the 2nd night we decided to pack up around 8pm and leave before our normal check-out the next morning. This could be a 5 star place with some minor corrections.

Awesome Beach House

My Wife and I stayed at this awesome beach house. Had everything we needed. The views and proximity to the beach were amazing. Had our two dogs with us. They enjoyed hanging out on the large deck most of the day and evening. Would recommend house to friends and family. Will gladly atay here again.

Excellent

This is a charming home in an amazing location! The home was nice and clean, exactly as pictured. The location was perfect, right on the beach and quiet. This stretch of beach does not allow cars to park or go through it. It is perfect for fishing, swimming, walking, laying out or throwing a football. The porch is lovely and has ample seating. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

Quick getaway on the beach

My family and I were looking for a quick getaway and wanted to be on the beach. When we arrived, we were happy to see the steps to the house was literally in the sand! The house was comfortable and had all the essentials for my family. Communication with the owners was adequate and prompt. The beds were comfortable and water pressure of showers were wonderful. We would stay here again!

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

Lovely cozy beach house located right at the beach. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the proximity to the beach. This is the quieter part of Galveston which is what we wanted (and needed). Big bonus that it was very pet friendly equipped. Would love to visit again!

Can't get much closer to the water.

Check in was easy. The house is very nice. The deck is excellent and you'll front on the beach. Very few houses are closer to the beach/water. Great stay. Would stay again without hesitation. Not far from Galveston. We had a great time!!

Amazing little get a way!

What a wonderful find! We loved unplugging and hanging out on the PRIVATE beach! Just steps away from the front door. Couldn't ask for a better location. The home had everything we needed. The beach access was priceless. Great Hosts, Communicated great. we had no issues whatso ever. Thanks for a Wonderful Week!
