We absolutely loved staying at this property!! The condo was very clean and exactly like the pictures on VRBO. We would absolutely stay here again as everything was easy....it was easy to check in and it was easy to have an amazing vacation since the condo was exactly as described. We had the best family vacation ever and I can't wait to possibly stay here again next year!! We would highly recommend this condo.....although the decorations could use a bit of an updating, it was clean and comfortable and who cares that it needs a little updating when it is right on the beach!! We loved this condo!!!

Pretty run down place. We came the week after the hurricane, but wow, the age of the building and unit showed. I’d keep looking.

Brigadune 5E

We enjoyed our stay and all was indicated via mail and photos. We left it as we found it and even a bit better. The only issue was the cleanliness of the property. The lanai was quite dirty but I can assume that could be from the rains and winds. The master bedroom was a bit sloppy but easily righted. We enjoyed ourselves and thought the home was lovely with a perfect view. Thank you.

No pool?

The condo was perfectly fine, although in need of updating. It states there is a pool, but the pool does not open until after Easter, according to the maintenance people on the site. I stayed one night and left the next day (with a full refund) because of the false advertising. I had kids with me that wanted to swim. I booked, in part, because of the pool. I was disappointed because I did like the location of the condo and the homey feeling within the condo.

Construction

They were doing painting on the building, Came out of the condo one day and had to take the plastic down to be able to leave. Also was not able to get a laundry card due to no one being available in the lobby.

Billy, Thank you for your honest review. We are so sorry to hear that construction was still going on during your vacation. We were unaware that a card was needed for the laundry and have reached out to the HOA so that we can be better informed of this for future guests. Hopefully despite the construction you were able to enjoy your stay and take advantage of the amazing oceanfront view. Please let us know if we can assist on your next visit to the Grand Strand area. Thanks again! Jenny

Nice location.

This was our second time staying at Brigadune. Nice location, decent condos. This one was fine. Fairly clean, but there were some small bug issues. In fairness, that’s hard to pin on any particular owner.

Hi Nathaniel, Thank you for such a nice review. We appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to welcome you to Myrtle Beach for your second visit to the Brigadune. Sorry to hear that you encountered some small bugs while you were on vacation. Unfortunately they can be sneaky and like to get out of the elements anytime they have a chance. Luckily the HOA provides regular pest control to keep this at a minimum. We hope that you will reach out to us when you are ready to plan your third visit to Brigadune. Thank you, Jenny

We have stayed at the Brigadunes before. The floor level was perfect and the room was very nice.

Only complaint was the master bedroom shower was too small and needs updated. Other than that it was a really nice condo.

Check construction status before renting this unit!

This unit was mostly lovely. All as pictured. Well furnished with plenty of space to spread out & a beautiful ocean view. The cleaning was not very thorough & I had to clean a couple things myself upon arrival. The kitchen trash bin had food & grime stuck all over it and the showers were not cleaned well at all & had mildew on the curtains and in corners. However, my biggest complaint was the MAJOR construction going on at the Brigadune during our stay. There were workers all week on multiple floors sawing & drilling through concrete from about 10am-6pm every day but Sunday. They were all throughout the hallways. We had to walk over rubble covered tarps and around ladders to get to the elevators every day. The noise & vibrations made it impossible to be in the unit during the day. Thankfully, we were blessed with perfect weather & spent as much time as possible outside. After contacting the property manager, we did recieve a partial refund, as we were not notified in advance that this work was being done. But I cannot recommend staying at any unit in this building for quite awhile, as the signs say the work being done is part of a multi-year project.

Hi Kim, We are so sorry about the construction. We appreciate you still taking the time to give a nice review despite this. We wish we would have known prior so that we could have given you a heads up or tried to move you to another property. We were very surprised that the property had chosen to start construction during the summer and were caught off guard. We hope that we get the pleasure of welcoming you back to Myrtle Beach on your next visit. Just let us know if we can assist. We promise to double check the cleaning and confirm that there is no construction. Thanks again!

This unit was amazing. Location was perfect, view was amazing. Plenty of room for a family if necessary. We loved our time there and will return. Only downside was cell phone service was very limited but not a big deal at all for a vacation.
