Welcome to Hale O' Nalani, which means Heavenly Home in Hawaiian. If you are looking for a family/friend retreat , reunion or meditative stay in Kauai, this is the place to stay.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM LOCATION :

Our immaculate, large FAMILY-FRIENDLY home sits on the golf course, well back away from the street and across from a greenbelt for the ultimate privacy and peace.

The location is on one of the most beautiful streets in Princeville, where the houses are large and the lots are even larger. Our home is just a short drive to the world famous beaches of the North Shore: Hanalei Bay Beach, Anini, Hideaways, Sealodge. At sunset when golfers have left, take a short walk along the golf course path right outside our back lawn to a stunning location with views of an Ocean cliff.

Enjoy roaming around our 17,000+ lot surrounded by tropical garden with banana trees, mango and avocado trees.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

We have tons of gear that makes traveling with small children just a little bit easer: pack-n-play, a high chair, lots of toys and kids books from Hawaiian authors!

We have A/C in every bedroom and in the living room. Portable fans, ceiling fans, A/C should make your stay feel more breezy during hot days. Summer in the late afternoons can be very warm though~ It is Hawaii after all ;)

We have gear for you to take to the beach (towels, chairs, boogie boards, cooler, beach umbrellas, snorkeling equipment).

WHAT TO EXPECT INSIDE: MODERN SURF BEACHY STYLE :

Our house has a "modern surf and beachy" style with vaulted ceilings and soaring picture windows provide unparalleled views of the Makai golf course, mountains and waterfalls. A beautiful stained glass inset in your front door greets you as you arrive home.

The dining area which opens onto a small lanai overlooking the golf, has lots of windows and is filled with light making you feel as though your are dining outside.

The main level has two bedrooms and a full bath which contains a vanity with dual sinks and a Samsung washer and dryer. For ease of care, you'll find either wood laminate or ceramic flooring throughout the kitchen / living / dining and baths. The master bedroom is oversized and has greenbelt views, a huge Jacuzzi like jetted tub, walk in shower and a large two sink vanity in the master bath. There's an additional bedroom just inside the entry with a king bed. Sunlight fills the house no matter where you are.


Before deciding to stay with us please note the following policies:

- Parties, events and receptions are strictly prohibited. We want guests to know before booking that our home is located in a residential neighborhood in Princeville. Princeville has a noise ordinance of 10:00 pm.

- For stays over 21 nights, guests will be charged for one in-clean for $275.

- We have two sets of stairs: At the entrance which takes you up to the main level (14 steps. And on the main level which takes you up to the master bedroom.

- Check in time: 4pm
- Check out time: 9:30am

This was an amazing property. The views of the garden and golf course were beautiful. The house had everything you could need. Communications with the manager and owner were quick and very friendly. The beds were comfy. I would love to stay here again!

Terrific family vacation choice

Spacious, well maintained home in quiet setting was a great choice for a family vacation with a well-equipped kitchen, large bedrooms, and an huge living room room. In addition to lovely views of the mountains, we were delighted by local birds (egrets, redheaded cardinals, albatross and more) plus access to snorkeling areas within a short walk.

Nice large home for a family group in Princeville

The downstairs bedroom smelled a bit musty (there is an air purifier), and the floors weren't too clean, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay in this large comfortable house with gorgeous views over a golf course and a small ravine beside it. There was lots of parking. Everyone loved the outdoor shower and the property was quiet and private, with lots of books and games for the kids, and beach gear for all of us.

We stayed at this home for a week. I had my family including 18 month old Grandson. This home had everything we needed for him. High chair, Pack n Play and toys and books. Great location🌺

House was great!

Would stay here again for sure. Huge windows made it feel like you were outside and the views were gorgeous!! Biggest downfall was not a 3rd bathroom for having 4 bedrooms. The outside shower was utilized everyday though. The house was well stocked with shampoo and soap everywhere, even outside. There was also laundry detergent that was appreciated! AC units in the bedrooms were a lifesaver! We had a great time with the beach supplies-chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards although beware of massive spiders outside in shed!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful week! The location on this home is just perfect! There were 2 fresh arrangements of beautiful native flowers and plants when we arrived at the home. There was a detailed book from the owners giving helpful information of things to do in the area. Great supply of beach supplies to use. The kitchen was well stocked. The property manager was very helpful with communication. The only negative was having 2 bathrooms for 8 adults which we knew ahead of time. However, There was a wonderful shower outside , which gives 3 showers total. This was the favorite one to use :) It truly was a magical week!

Princeville home

Overall we had a nice stay. A few glitches that troubled us…1. We felt that the “jacuzzi” was misrepresented. It is an indoor jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom - we thought we were getting an actual hot tub.2. We had many problems with the closing of the French doors. That is a problem that should be remedied.3. The smoke alarm supposedly had new batteries. It beeped so much we had to remove it.Hope you can correct these issues for future guests.

Lovely place for a family vacation

Beautiful house in Princeville on the golf course. Big, well-equipped kitchen, enough beds to sleep 8 of us very comfortably, nice dining area with enough room for 8 of us and a great view of the golf course and mountains in the background. I had a lovely 60th birthday celebration with my family and the hosts kindly left a card, coffee, wine and even let us check in a little early. Thank you so much! We forgot our snorkels and left them in the shed but will donate them to the house for the next group of folks. The hosts had lots of beach towels, nice lawn chairs and beach toys along with flippers and now there are snorkels, too! Thanks again. Kelly

Beautiful and Spacious

One of the best things about this lovely home is the incredibly spacious living area (I loved walking in to see a few playing video games, one reading, one napping, another pair in conversation or just gazing out at the panoramic view). We also appreciated the huge fans and AC units in each bedroom and in the open area. The kitchen provided nearly everything we could think to use, and we did cook several meals for the whole group. Both the owner and property manager were very responsive when we had a question or issue. We struggled with the back and side doors (never did figure out how to open the side one) and never got the front door keypad to work but they also left us 2 keys so we were able to work around it. We appreciated having some snorkel gear to borrow (it enabled me to have an amazing snorkeling experience at Tunnels Beach!!), and the wagon was awesome, but overall the beach gear (including chairs) was rather meager and worn. We ended up buying some boogie boards and left them as a gift for future guests. A few other notes of interest: A short walk out back via the golf cart paths leads to a breathtaking ocean view! Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to unpack. The back patio is small but there was almost always one or two of us there chatting, watching the chickens, or just enjoying the view.) In summary, we highly reccommend!

We love Kauai!!

Our family had a wonderful time on the north shore and the best weather, sunny blue skies everyday! The house was perfect, well maintained and comfortable, great location in Princeville. We even had a nesting Albatross bird in the back yard. I would definitely recommend this home for a family vacation!

Pleasant and light

The dining room was a pleasant gathering place for our group of six. Although a lovely location the home didn't offer an outdoor seating area other than a tiny balcony in the direct sunlight. The birds and views were lovely and we all enjoyed the distant sound of the waves. We loved our morning walks to watch the sunrise. There was no outdoor shower as specified. The resident nesting albatross was a plus. The beds were comfortable and fans were available in all the bedrooms. The kitchen had no fan though and was very hot to work in. There was a whole library of children's books but no guidebooks. The big screen in the spacious living room will thrill movie goers. Driveway is a bit tricky to back out of and it is a steep climb to the master bedroom. A good time was had by all . We appreciated the owner's responsiveness.

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our family -ages 1-66. It had everything we needed and more. It was located close to shopping, a walking/bicycle trail and playground. There were even toys and our grandchildren thought they found a treasure chest! We had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful Princeville Property

We were so comfortable in this lovely house that is so well equipped with everything you need to have a great stay. We cooked beautiful meals and took advantage of the fresh fish caught by Britt who we learned about in Daniela's super informative housebook. The house is big and comfy with breathtaking views and landscaping. It was great having access to beachchairs, snorkels, masks and beachtowels. I really appreciated how responsive the owners were to any questions we had while staying. The only downside to our vacation was having to leave beautiful Kauai.

Perfect stay

Our group had the best time staying at Daniela’s property. The house was large, clean, and had a beautiful view of the golf course and the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked to make large groups meals and the shed had beach supplies like flippers and beach chairs. Multiple members of the group said this was their favorite rental they’d stayed in. The house is in a great location in Princeville and we were able to walk to places like Queens Bath and not have to worry about parking. Daniela was extremely responsive the entire time and made sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. I would recommend this house and would gladly stay there again!

On our visit to Kauai on October 15th 2020, we stayed in a vacation rental home in Hanalei and fell in love with the island and the people.

We ended making Hale O’ Nalani our home during the pandemic. Hale O’ Nalani means “heavenly home” in Hawaiian. We named it after our friend Nalani who we met here and who was born and raised in Kauai and whose family has been here for many generations. We plan to make Hale O’ Nalani our permanent home in the future. In the meantime, we want to share this special place that has brought us so much joy and comfort with others in the hopes that it can bring the same to them. We hope you have a wonderful time in Kauai.
