Come enjoy the best of both worlds in our beautiful historic town! Cypress Grove Inn is approximately 1 mile from our beautiful downtown area. Cypress Grove Inn gives you the peace of the country along with the sounds of nature. A short drive and you will enjoy Madison Main St., where numerous restaurants and retailers await you!
Your accommodations are approximately 1800-2000 square feet, the accommodations are half of the house, large outer deck with 2 fire pits, hot tub, and fishing if you choose.
It provides privacy at its best!
Consisting of 2 bedrooms,each with Queen bed, one full bathroom, and separate area with a small fridge, coffeemaker, and snacks.
Living room with dining table, smart tv, electric fireplace, indoor fountain.
Cleaning fee-$75

Our accommodations provide spacious rooms, closets, and individual patio seating over looking a Spring fed pond fully stocked with fish-- bring your poles, and enjoy a rest in the hot tub!
Our sunrises and sunsets are amazing, and the views will take your breath away. You most likely will encounter deer, wild turkey, and many other sights. Bring your bikes, hiking gear, and take a peaceful walk around the property or at Clifty Falls State Park that is only 6 miles away, local wineries with beautiful landscapes, walk the beautiful river-walk, and enjoy some of Madison's Magical Musicians in our historic taverns or outdoor venues.

Your host and hostess Tom and Chandra Ferry will greet you upon your arrival!
Code locks are used and codes will be given prior to arrival.
Feel free to pull up to the main front door to unload your belongings. There is additional parking available on the west end of the driveway.
Unfortunately, at this time we are not handicap accessible, however access into home is one level. There are stairs to the rooms.

The Cypress Grove Inn is truly unique as it was built in 1825.
A true historical home, exhibiting the original hardwood floors, muscat shots embedded in the original exterior and interior field stone, five acres of property for you to take walks, a full spring fed pond that is open for fishing , quick access to Madison downtown/ various landmarks., and patio areas to embrace the beautiful sunrise and sunsets.

There is so much to enjoy here in Madison, IN.

Inquire with hosts- we are happy to set a reservation for you!
Cab service available as well.
List of suggested places to visit is provided.

**Hot Tub is located on lower deck area. There are safety guidelines listed once checked in.

**Checkout procedure- please just text hosts once you have departed. (317-625-8311).
All towels, sheets, trash hosts will take care of for you.
If there is an excess of trash feel free to place in dumpster and the north end of the house ( front).
If any damage had occurred please Inform hosts prior to departing.

It was cold outside, but we had a comfy and cozy girls weekend at the Inn! Tom and Chandra left lots of snacks and goodies and were available if we wanted for anything! The property is beautiful. It’s very quiet and secluded but also just a few minutes drive to the heart of downtown!

Amazing property and top notch hosts! My sister and I loved the peace and quiet in the house and the hosts supplied us with more than we could have hoped for. From snacks to drinks to basic necessities. A 5 minute drive into downtown Madison was great too. I cant wait to go back with my wife. Thank you so much!

Everything about our stay was perfect! The accommodations were excellent from the decor to the quality of bedding and furniture. The location was perfect for exploring Madison and was so quiet and peaceful. We hope to go back soon!

Lovely Place to Stay

Perfect location to stay when visiting Madison or Hanover. The property is lovely, well maintained and clean. We enjoyed several walks through the neighborhood and Chandra and Tom were very helpful.

Great weekend getaway

If you want to find a secluded out-of-the-way, unique place to stay, that’s only minutes from downtown Madison, then this is a great option. Intimate and quiet and interesting all at the same time. The hosts and property were great. Love to stay there again.

This place is absolutely beautiful, immaculate, warm and welcoming! The hosts provided coffee, tea, wine, snacks, toiletries….so much more than we expected. Even though they live on the property, they offer complete privacy unless you need something. We sought them out to sit on the porch in the evenings and visit. They are a beautiful, kind, fun couple. We will definitely be going back, not just to stay in this beautiful place, but to spend time with them as well.

Perfect Getaway!!!

This was a perfect couple day getaway for my wife and I. The hosts are great and are there to help in any way, and the location is just minutes from downtown Madison. It was nice to just unwind and relax in the beautiful living room or in the glorious hot tub with a view of the pond and ducks. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property

This home is beautifully landscaped and decorated. It is clean and the hosts have provided everything to make your stay comfortable. There is also a nice pond for fishing in back. Although the place is attached to the owner's home, you have a separate entrance and plenty of privacy. Just a short drive to downtown.

Girls Weekend in Madison

The property is beautiful and the accomodations were charming. Just right for four girlfriends to get away, relax, and have fun. Easy jaunt into Madison. Tom and Chaundra were so helpful and easy to communicate with. Definitely reccomend for couples and friends headed to the area.

Perfect setting/Fall birthdays

House is historic, charming and so cozy! Hosts are welcoming and have thought of everything! Back porch was so great, enjoyed hot tub and propane heater last night after a full day of eating, drinking and shopping in Madison all day.. We loved everything about our stay! SUPER HOSTS!

A weekend getaway

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The overall experience was one of the best we have ever had. The hosts, the property, the location exceeded our expectations. Tom and Chandra did a wonderful job making our trip unforgettable. We had complete privacy and plenty of room to relax, but if we ever needed anything, Tom and Chandra were a text away. If you are looking to spend time in or near Madison, this IS the place to stay!

Excellent hosts

Tom and Chandra were excellent hosts. They met us at check-in and explained all of the amenities. Tom and Chandra made it abundantly clear we had full use of the property. As a bonus, the fall weather was amazing. We would fullly recommend the Cypress Grove Inn.

Incredible!

The grounds are breath-takingly beautiful! The inside is tastefully decorated and very peaceful. The hosts are gracious and quick to help, but you won't know they are there until you text them.

As good as it gets attention to detail

We had several places to choose from for our pre-Anniversary getaway to Madison. I’m so glad we chose Cypress Grove Inn. Very kind and attentive hosts who really have put together a gem of a property. Beautiful scenery and such a cool historic, but very clean and updated house. Would definitely book again If/when coming back to a Madison

Cozy & Private

A beautiful home away from home & so very peaceful. I spent a great deal of time on the back patio watching the hummingbirds & the butterflies. Chandra & Tom were kind & friendly; giving great insight to sites & events in Madison IN. It's just a short drive to Clifty Falls State Park, where there is excellent hiking. I would absolutely recommend this lovely place.
