Welcome to the Cozy Log Cabin on Fall River! Our cabin is family-friendly and pet-friendly!! The cabin is open seasonally with availability mid-April through December. The cabin is conveniently located 1 mile east of the Fall River Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and 2 miles west of downtown Estes Park off of Fall River Road. You will enjoy wildlife viewing with many elk and big horn sheep around the property. This property is steps from the Fall River.

The cabin was constructed in the late 1940's using the logs from the Hidden Valley Ski area. It is a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy nature.

The cabin features an open living space with updated furniture and appliances. The 2 bedrooms are located on the main floor. The loft has two (2) twin beds. The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms on the main floor and has a shower (no tub).

The cabin is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with several cabins nearby and homes across the river.

Clean! This is truly a five star cabin. Everything worked as it should which is unusual nowadays. Great location. Far enough from town but in reach for groceries. The walking path in to town was a nice bonus!

Another great trip to Estes Park

This was our second summer at the Cozy Log Cabin. Bob and Carole are great hosts and the space is perfect for our family of five. We would set out on various adventures each day and then come back to grill out and just enjoy the evenings at the cabin. This is our family’s favorite place to vacation and we look forward to getting back again soon.

Love this cabin

This cabin is perfect for my husband and I. We look forward to our annual stay. The owners are amazing with respect to their responsiveness, care for the cabin and annual updates to the cabin. We are regular customers and appreciate the updates. The location to town, to RMNP, wildlife and river are unmatched. Love this cabin.

Amazing cabin!

Cozy cabin was everything listed and more! After a day full of travel and hiking, was so nice to get to the cabin and have all the amenities from fluffy bath towels to great coffee! Definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing stay

We had a great stay at the cabin. It is comfortable, clean and well stocked. The river behind the cabin is amazing and we totally loved eating on the deck right beside the river. Check in and out was a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful cabin! Very well stocked and very clean.

Our family vacation to Estes Park was wonderful! This rental was perfect for us, cozy, clean and located close to Rocky Mountain National Park and to many other attractions that we went to. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful family vaca

Enjoyed a wonder stay at this beautiful cabin. The hosts were amazing and very responsive! We had two teenage boats, so each had their own room…which was fab. We enjoyed grilling and eating on the back deck, mornings on the swing by the river, and even a walk into town if you are up for the 2 mile journey! A lovely base camp for enjoying Estes park and RMNP!

Awesome Stay

Beautiful cabin and setting! Thoroughly enjoyed the river along with the swing on the edge of the river. Every morning enjoyed the wildlife, which included wild turkeys , rabbits and all types of birds.

Great Stay on Fall River

Our third VRBO in five years for RMNP, easily our favorite. Location to park and town within minutes of cabin, but tucked away you forgot about both while there. Wonderful home base after miles of long hikes. Kitchen, laundry, and bathroom stocked and easy to use. Hosts easy to contact w prompt replies. Will be top of our list for a return stay.

The perfect gateway cozy cabin to RMNP.

Great location, and beautiful setting. The cabin is so cozy and obviously loved and well taken care of. Located between RMNP and the sweet town of Estes Park is perfect! Though we were just a couple and our dog, this cabin would be great for a family with kids. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Estes Park and RMNP.

Absolutely fabulous. Clean, neat, organized with everything we needed. Good communication with property manager. Excellent location near town and Rocky Mt National Park. Being on the river is an added bonus.

Beautiful cozy cabin

Absolutely Perfect

Cosy Cabin on Fall River exceeded our expectations. The cabin is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and stocked. We enjoyed the river setting and the pleasant sounds of the rushing water. We spent hours on the deck and the river-front swing. The cabin is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. A new walking pathway along the river was the perfect place to exercise our dog. The hosts were attentive and friendly. We hated to leave and thoroughly enjoyed our eight days there. We appreciate the cabin being pet friendly.

A favorite for us

Cozy cabin is the perfect description. This cabin has it all. Fully equipped and roomy kitchen, good WiFi and tv reception, comfortable bed, clean and most Of all location. We sat by The Fall River on the swing out back every day after our excursions to RMNP which is only a few miles away. Lots of wildlife in the backyard including a huge bull elk and mule deer. The owners, Carole and Bob , are available and responsive (although we had no issues at all). Highly recommended. We already are planning to return

best yet!

We stayed for 6 nights joined by our son, his wife and dog. I don't know where to start. There were so many thoughtful touches. The porch was gated which made it easy to have the dog with us there. The table was set when we arrived. Such a nice touch. Plenty of light and plenty of everything else too -- dishes, silverware, pots and pans, glasses. And coffee. really! we brought our own but it was a lovely option. Two luxurious bath towels apiece and hand and face cloths. Oh and the location. 5 minutes from the entry to RMNP. Though on a busy enough road it was quiet--the music of the creek/stream. And the elk who visited the stream as we had lunch on the deck was memorable. The only problem with the cabin is that it is so popular it is difficult to find days available!! That speaks, I imagine, to repeat renters who can't resist returning. I hope we can arrange a return. Carole and Bob were super responsive.

JESUS' MAJESTIC BEAUTY/GRANDEUR

I want to start off by saying that Carol and Bob are wonderful people. My wife and I found ourselves in a difficult situation, and Carol came to our rescue with a level of Grace, Kindness and Empathy--that as I write this review--still brings tears to my eyes. Thank you Carol!! With regard to the property, it exceeded our expectations by far. It was very clean, there were two T.V.'s (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) that had actual channels to watch and not just streaming services--although those were available too. The main reason we chose the property, was, that Fall River is just steps from the large back deck, and sitting on the swing next to the river--in effect--has a way of washing away all of the distractions, trials and tribulations of life, as you soak in God's Majestic Splendour that surrounds and envelops you like nothing else can. The wildlife was amazing! The wild turkeys, the deer, the big bull elk that strolled by just inches from the back deck! We also loved the mini fire pit attached to the table on the deck. It may be small, but it puts out a lot of heat! Thank you Bob and Carol, for making dreams come true. In Christ's Love, Jim and Tess M.

Adore This Place!!

Sorry - this review is far overdue, since I visited during this past Winter! :0 I can't say enough fabulous things about this cabin. I've stayed here twice and booked my third stay as soon as I got home from my second one. The cabin is gorgeous and quiet and overlooks the river, and is all the things someone (like me, at least) could want from an Estes cabin. But I have to specifically rave about the hosts. They are, hands down, the best VRBO hosts I've ever stayed with. They were super responsive to all my messages, and when I realized a remote had dead batteries, they were there in less than 30 minutes with fresh ones! I had a terrible time tearing myself away from the place and ended up extending my stay three days. I couldn't extend it myself on the app, so the hosts got back to me right away about my request and took care of it on their end. As I mentioned in a previous review, it's the little details that keep me coming back to this place year after year - every kitchen utensil you could need, high-end touches like the cookware and super comfy mattress, and so much more. But I especially adore how pooch-friendly the cabin is. When I first went inside, I immediately noticed a fantastic, huge dog bed (huge if you're a Chihuahua) right in front of the fireplace. My little girl immediate made herself to home and spent the vast majority of her time curled up right there. I absolutely adore this cabin and I'll keep coming back as long as Bob and Carol will have me!

Even better than the pictures!

This was our first time doing this type of rental and the experience couldn’t have been nicer. The house was better than in the photos, with two twin beds upstairs where my children opted to sleep vs the downstairs bunk bed. The house was clean and fully stocked with anything you could need, literally you only need to bring a toothbrush, your clothing, and meds; they have everything else. The river was absolutely lovely and the swing was such a nice compliment to the property. It is in a very small little neighborhood, but I never felt like we didn’t have privacy. Perfect in-between location for Rocky Mountain National Park and Downtown Estes. The owners were so kind and patient and answered all of my questions. If you or anyone in your family has mobility issues please know that the upstairs area will be inaccessible to you. The stairs are very steep and open. If you have tiny kiddos, maybe bring some sort of gate/fence to block it off. My only critique of the property is that the bunk bed room was very heavily fragranced due to the stacking laundry being in that space as well. It was overwhelming when we first got there and I was thankful that the kids could sleep upstairs instead since one of my kiddos is prone to headaches. I absolutely would stay in this lovely location again!
