Mountain Peaks Inn, GREEN MOUNTAIN SUITE, Downtown Hill City

ROOM DESCRIPTION
Mountain Peaks Inn is family owned and operated. We are conveniently located on Main Street in downtown Hill City. This home has four separate suites, each with a private entrance. Please stop in for a cup of coffee or a pastry at Caboose Coffee Company on-site! All guests have access to a large front deck with charcoal grill and small metal fire pit.

Green Mountain Suite is a beautiful pine, log-accented, cabin-style suite which sleeps TWO guests. This suite has a personal outside entry which is accessed by following the boardwalk around the home, to the east side of the house. Amenities include: a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, a private bath with full tub/shower; mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, water kettle, tv/dvd, Roku stick, and ac.

THINGS TO DO IN HILL CITY
In addition to being in the heart of Hill City, South Dakota, a short walk from downtown, the Black Hills Central Railroad's 1880 TRAIN is just across the street. The popular Mickleson Trail follows Railroad Ave and East Main's sidewalk through town, with bike rentals just down the street. Historic downtown is a great place to explore with its local restaurants, various shops, and galleries.

Convenient location

This room is in a great location to see .any of the major attractions in South Dakota (Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer NP, hiking, etc.). Clean and nicely appointed. Great hosts that quickly took care of any issues.

Nice place

Very nice people just believe they were spread thin with other commitments they had as well. Friend and I had to clean air conditioner as it was filled with dust build up. Nice room and I would stay again. Lisa did keep in contact with us to take care of towels etc.

Smaller than I expected but very comfortable. Central location. Walking distance for the 1880 train and central downtown. Driving distance for Mt. Rushmore and Wall Drug/Badlands.

Great central location for black hills attractions 30 minutes to mt. Rushmore, crazy horse & custer state park. Several senic drives. 2 hours to Devils tower. 1 plus to bad lands national park

Great vacation stay in Hill City SD

The suite we had for three nights had a western theme to the room. Great location to walk down town or access main roads to the many attractions in the Black Hills. Hosts made sure the accommodation were clean and comfortable for our stay. Friendly staff.

Great adventure!

We had a lovely stay in Hill City… would definitely recommend this stay! Was convenient to travel to other towns and sight see… and a nice “home base” with places to grab dinner in walking distance… very clean… comfy stay! I chatted with Lisa a few times … just wonderfully pleasant…☺️

Mini Vacation

We love the Black Hills in the fall and try to get there once a year. The 1880 Train Ride was on our bucket list of things we have not done in the Hills. Had a fun time. Visited friends in the Custer and Rapid area during our stay too.

Perfect Property

This property was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The added bonus was the coffee shop that is connected to the property. The breakfast was fantastic and the owners are very nice! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We fell in love with Hill City when visiting the Black Hills in the summer of 2015 and again 2020. We stumbled upon this beautiful home, which was remodeled to accommodate four guest cabins. Now, we have the privilege of calling Hill City home. Our cabins have been available on VRBO since 2013.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

This home is in the heart of Hill City and is walking distance to shops, galleries, restaurants, the Black Hills Central Railroad's 1880 Train, and the popular Mickleson Trail. Mountain Peaks Inn also features Caboose Coffee Company.
