Upful Villa I Airy, spacious, light-filled, modern-rustic family villa w/pool

Designed for relaxation in nature and quintessential indoor-outdoor living, Upful is light-filled, airy, modern and homey. Built in 2021, this modern-rustic family home was designed by an environmental architect and is licensed by the Jamaica Tourist Board.

With the Caribbean Sea behind us to the south + the pristine Old Wharf beach just across the road, the brisk sea breezes make Upful one of the coolest spots in Treasure Beach.

Ideal for a family or friends vacationing together, our two-level four-bedroom home is spacious with lots of cozy spaces to gather, hang out and reconnect. Each level has its own private entrance, common areas and outdoor spaces.

With floor-to-ceiling louvered windows, high and vaulted ceilings plus nature-inspired décor of natural materials, each room is a breezy and light-filled indoor-outdoor space with a strong feeling of openness.

The main courtyard features a soothing overflow pool with unique artist-crafted mosaic tile art. Upstairs, the covered and uncovered roof decks offer panoramic views of the sea and mountains.

The ground floor has a fully-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, living/TV room/den and dining room, while the top floor has an extended lounge space (for games, reading or relaxing) with kitchenette.

From the four (4) ensuite bedrooms, you can enjoy views of the garden, mountains and/or Caribbean Sea. Downstairs, two bedrooms open out to the courtyard, as well as their own individual private outdoor spaces. Upstairs, the bedrooms have sea and garden views while the master bedroom has a large private outdoor deck with panoramic views.

Our quiet residential community of Old Wharf is the most sought after. Steps away is the mostly calm and shallow Old Wharf Cove - a lovely beach experience - and Seaside, the Jakes Hotel venue for farm-to-table dinners and private events.

We are located in easy walking/biking distance to well-known local establishments e.g. Jakes Hotel, Restaurant & its Driftwood Spa, Jack Sprat Restaurant, Breds Treasure Beach Sports Park, Dawn's Smurf's Cafe (the 'best breakfast' spot with hand roasted coffee), Callaloo Butik, convenience stores and more.

Come experience the warmth of community tourism in Treasure Beach with customized Reds Cycle Tours (walk, bike or hike) or go by boat with the experienced boat captains who can take you along the coast for a personalized beach lunch (insider tip: ask questions for great stories) or to the world famous Floyd's Pelican Bar.

With deep family roots in St. Elizabeth, our family has returned home with our Treasure Beach villa - Upful. As the name embodies, we hope your stay will be cheerful and positive for yourself and our beloved community.

By design, Upful is a peaceful retreat to relax, rest and recharge for the three generations - grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren - who call this special spot home. We appreciate your respect of that energy.

We are involved in local initiatives in education/development - including supporting local early childhood institutions, primary and high schools as well as vocational training initiatives. We created Happy House in the Breds Treasure Beach Sports Park - the first of its kind community early childhood center for learning by play - and encourage literacy of all ages through the Likkle Book Boxes initiative (free libraries).

We are also integrally involved in environmental conservation, climate resilience, sustainable development, health and wellness as well as disaster risk management.

We do so through our our family-founded non-profit organizations - Do Good Jamaica and Do Good International Inc. - and support of other community organizations.

We invite you engage with us to help build a resilient community with sustainable livelihoods.

Upful was designed to maximize natural light and natural ventilation. Upstairs and downstairs, the floor-to-ceiling wooden louvre windows make Upful bright and airy.

It was also designed for effortless indoor-outdoor living with bedrooms and indoor common areas connected to the outdoors. Outdoor spaces include front lawn, courtyard with covered patio and overflow pool, verandah, backyard garden, three roof decks (covered, uncovered, bedroom).
