Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had stayed at Baker’s Landing earlier this summer and had an amazing stay so it was an easy choice to come back. This place just fits our needs perfectly. We enjoy fishing off the dock in the evenings after spending a day at the beach. It is close to everything you need or want. It is a quiet neighborhood convenient to everything you may need while staying on the island. The house is extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable. We will definitely continue to stay here. The check in and out process is simple and the people we have dealt with have always been wonderful to work with.

Many red flags from the beginning. Looked great on pics. But then I received a note that a stove was broken. Although they said we can use it, it didn’t look safe. So cooking was challenging. Kitchen appliances and floor was visually dirty. Upstairs looked much better, clean, and comfy. Bathrooms need so refreshing. You get only one bath tower per person and one hand towel. So bring your own or constantly wash your towels. We loved the fishing deck but it was not private. People from other units come to your space. Steps going down were broken and overgrown with weeds. Easy reserved parking and close to other activities in the area. Don’t count on arriving earlier than 15 min before your check in (that’s when you get the code to get in) or you will be charged extra. Pet friendly but also additional charges will be disclosed to you after reservation. Management is quick addressing questions.

North Padre Getaway

The property is a nice condo on the canal on North Padre Island. It is in a great location close to everything. We booked the property because it had a dock for fishing in the channel with a fishing light. Unfortunately the light did not work. So fishing was a bust, but we still enjoyed our stay and spent more time on the island.

Very clean

Everything was clean and the area is quiet. The furnishings in the pictures were quite different from the posted listing. There are many decor items, large furniture, and more than enough kitchen items.in the lower level. Would be difficult with little kids.kitchen items.

There was everything you could need for kitchen supplies and then some. The master bed was very comfortable. Suggestions:It felt slight cluttered with decor items, suggest those be reduced. Queen bed very creaky but it was just two of us so we didn’t use it. Place could use a deep clean, especially the carpets and stairs. Padre Escapes went above and beyond when we had a personal issue occur and we have sent our thanks. They were so professional and I definitely recommend booking through them.

Everything we needed. Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the canal. Watched seabirds and then a dolphin visited one morning. Magical!

Nice but too much traffic noise.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. The condo was small but cozy, the kitchen was well stocked except for a tea kettle The condo is a bit worn. The managers were very nice and helpful. The reason I wouldn’t stay here again is the noise from Parkroad 22 is very noticeable. This condo is about .2miles from 22. In the morning I love to get up and have a cup of tea on the porch, it was just too loud or in the evenings also. So much traffic on that road. Inside with all the doors and windows closed its fine. No one else has commented on this, perhaps it just depends on what your use to or maybe nobody goes outside.

If you have a boat there is a ramp right at the end of the building. They also have a nice little dock in the house. The only thing they need to do is replace the back door as it is hard to close and open. Over all I would highly recommend this place for a vacation. Very clean. Little heavy in the beach decorations but all I needed was a clean place ti sleep as most of my time was spent out on my boat.

Guy’s Fishing Getaway

Very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. Convenient and the best part was that the entrance and kitchen are at ground level. No lugging heavy ice chests upstairs.

Great place for business and pleasure.

I had a business luncheon i Corpus so I found this place so my wife and 91 year old father could come with me. My father loved being able to fish off the back deck. It was very clean and had everything we desired.

Great place. Clean. Quiet. Great spot to go fish at night. Water heater broke but owners fixed that day and gave us good info for kayak fishing. Great service from padre escapes. No hassles and great reliable fast service

Morning coffee views on deck around sunrise was the best . Close to where we want to go. Contacts for a needed repair I informed about was checked, and no hassle. Glad to stay.
